Alright, as deemed A-OK by Kash, my treat to you. A humble What If? of FMW.
Details? They are going to be very, very skimpy, but that's OK. Sit back and enjoy!

FMW 10/6/89 Nagoya Sports Center
1. Mitsuteru Tokuda (10:59, Cross Armbreaker) Monkey Magic Wakita 2. Jimmy Backlund (5:45, Moonsault Press) Billy Mack 3. The Witch Warrior & Eriko Tsuchiya [W] (4:06, Powerbomb) Miwa Sato & Kumiko Matsuda [L] 4. Tarzan Goto (2:28, Lariat) Mitsuhiro Matsunaga 5. Masanobu Kurisu (9:59, Half Crab Hold) Sambo Asako 6. Differ Style match: Masashi Aoyagi (15:47, Karate Punches -> TKO) Atsushi Onita
Notes:
-The first-ever FMW show.
-Some notes about the pariticpants. Tokuda, Matsunaga & Aoyogi are all WKA guys, Wakita is one of the NJPW trainess doomed by the Takeshi Puroresu Gundam stable and started off in Mexico instead, Mack and Backlund and U.S. Territory guys, Tsuchiya, Saro & Matsuda finished their training they got from AJW by Onita and debuted, Warrior is also from the U.S, Kurisu is from NJPW, and you know Goto and Onita.
-After the main event, a pull-apart of the WKA and various wrestlers broke out. Onita challenged Aoyogi to one more match, to which he accepted.

FMW 11/10/89 Korakuen Hall
1. Masanobu Kurisu (7:29, Half Crab Hold) Monkey Magic Wakita 2. Jimmy Backlund (6:49, Fisherman's Suplex) Mitsueru Tokuda 3. Mitsuhiro Matsunaga (8:35, High Kick -> K.O.) Sambo Asako 4. Eriko Tsuchiya [W] & Despinga Montagas (7:38, Powerbomb) Miwa Sato [L] & Kumiko Matsuda 5. Hair VS Hair match: Tarzan Goto (2:41, Pancake Facebuster) Billy Mack 6. Differ Style match: Atsushi Onita (16:13, Thunder-Fire Powerbomb -> K.O.) Masashi Aoyagi
Notes:
-A new face showd up in Despinga Montagas. She's a Mexican lady who competed in the U.S., but brought over via Goto, who knew her from his time there.
-Speaking of Goto, Mack, even though he lost last show, was mouthing off in the back, which drew the ire of Goto. When he pressed him, Mack offered to put up his hair, hence the match. Pity Goto wasn't in a good mood, and kicked the crap out of him, then shaved his head.
-Onita managed to give Aoyogi a taste of his own medicine by bloodying him and knocking him out.
-It's believed FMW will start a tour of December. Also, their first doing so.

FMW 12/1/89 Osaka Takaishi Seadside Sports Center
1. Best of 5: Princess Delta Dawn [W] & Eriko Tsuchiya (5:54, Half Nelson Suplex) Miwa Sato & Kumiko Matsuda [L] 2. Masanobu Kurisu (7:51, Half Crab Hold) Monkey Magic Wakita 3. Sambo Asako (5:00, Sleeper Hold) Mitsueru Tokuda 4. Jos LeDuc (6:35, Jumping Piledriver) Tarzan Goto 5. Steel Chain Deathmatch: Dick Murdoch (3:57, Steel Chain-assited Right Hook) Dennis Knight 6. Atsushi Onita (7:33, Scorpion Deathlock) Mitsuhiro Matsunaga
Notes:
-While all three are the 1st class, Sato & Matsuda have challenged their fellow student Tsuchiya, after she keeps siding with female gaijins, to a best of 5 to prove themselves. Fittingly, Tsuchiya has aligned with Princess "Delta" Dawn, who the two started off the series with a win, 1-0 in favour of Tsuchiya and Dawn.
-Wakita wanted to try and avenge his previous loss to Kurisu, but the grumpy, old veteran shows how tough he is by beating him again with the dreaded "rookie killer" hold, the Crab Hold.
-FMW has gotten quite a boon to snag both Dick Murdoch and Jos LeDuc for their 1st tour, both of which will be competiting all tour.
-Also, among the gaijins, is a young power heel by the name of Dennis Knight, whose nickname is "Mideon". Odd. Anyways, Murdoch heard him shit-talk about himself and his weight, who challenged him to up the ante of their already-scheduled match with a Chain, to which he accepted. Bad idea, as Murdoch used it to bludgeon the shit out of him with it.
-As Aoyogi is busy with comittments elsewhere, Matsunaga tried to avenge his master in the main, but fell to submission. Onita praised the lad for feeling a "violent spirit" within him, but Matsunaga felt he was Karate first and foremost.

FMW 12/3/89 Gifu Furukawa Townsman Hall
1. Best of 5: Miwa Sato & Kumiko Matsuda [W] (6:20, Inside Cradle) Princess Delta Dawn [L] & Erika Tsuchiya 2. Sambo Asako (5:53, Chair Attack -> DQ) Dennis Knight 3. Mitsuhiro Matsunaga (8:50, Axe Kick -> K.O.) Monkey Magic Wakita 4. Atsushi Onita (5:35, Octopus Hold) Mitsueru Tokuda 5. Tarzan Goto & Dick Murdoch [W] (13:29, Vertical Brainbuster) Masanobu Kurisu [L] & Jos LeDuc
Notes:
-The Joshi Best of 5 continues with the tandem of Sato & Matsuda tying up Dawn and Tsuchiya's win over them with one of their own, making it 1-1 right now.
-After the violent match last show, Knight continued to brawl with Asako, but when he kept stirking him with a chair, the Ref was forced to DQ him, much to Knight's rage.
-Although he was forced to step down from the main event, Onita went after the 3rd WKA represenative in Tokuda, making him submit like his fellow fighter Matsunaga.
-While not booked as such, the main event was a wild brawl, with all four veterans just beating the crap out of another. It seems be it karate strikes or wrestling hold, FMW is starting to be known for it's wild, violent matches at the top of the card.

1. World Karate Association Rules match: Mitsuhiro Matsunaga (4:00, Judgement Call) Akitoshi Saito 2. Best of 5: Miwa Sato [W] & Kumiko Matsuda (7:04, Northern Lights Suplex) Princess Delta Dawn [L] & Eriko Tsuchiya 3. Sambo Asako (7:22, Achilles Tendon Lock) Monkey Magic Wakita 4. Dennis Knight (6:43, Reverse DDT) Mitsueru Tokuda 5. Tarzan Goto (8:29, Pancake Facebuster) Jimmy Backlund 6. Atsushi Onita & Dick Murdoch [W] (9:28, Running Elbow Drop) Masanobu Kurisu & Jos LeDuc [L]
Notes:
-As a showcase of the WKA, Matsunaga and another fighter from the group, Akitoshi Saito, had a small sparring match, where the judges declared Matsunaga the winner.
-Sato and Matsuda gain an advantage over Tsuchiya and Dawn, winning two straight matches against them and gaining the advantage at 2-1.

FMW 12/6/89 Shizuoka Industrial Hall
1. Kumiko Matsuda (2:45, Huracanrana) Princess Delta Dawn 2. Eriko Tsuchiya (7:25, Powerbomb) Miwa Sato 3. Masanobu Kurisu (5:26, Half Crab Hold) Sambo Asako 4. Mitsuhiro Matsunaga (6:29, Rolling Solebutt -> K.O.) Monkey Magic Wakita 5. Atsushi Onita [W] & Tarzan Goto (11:08, Thunder-Fire Powerbomb) Mitsueru Tokuda [L] & Monkey Magic Wakita 6. No DQ match: Jos LeDuc (9:03, Brass Knuckles Attack) Dick Murdoch
Notes:
-The Joshis tooks a break from their Best of 5, to face eachothers singles. Matsuda used her speed and wiles to outwit the gaijin princess, but Tsuchiya's power overwhelmed Sato, making things even and making the important 4th match all the more intresting.
-While Wakita is not directly one of the FMW, he aligned with the WKA's Tokuda to face the top two natives of FMW. While both tried valiently, Onita's dreaded TF Powerbomb crushed their hopes.
-The main event was a strictly gaijin affair, and knowing both to be brawlers, was made of a No DQ match. After a wild brawl, LeDuc took advantage of this to slip on some brass knuckles, and wallop Murdoch out cold.

FMW 12/8/89 Saitama Kumagaya Citizen Gym
1. Best of 5: Princess Delta Dawn [W] & Eriko Tsuchiya (5:56, Half Nelson Suplex) Miwa Sato & Kumiko Matsuda [L] 2. Monkey Magic Wakita (8:14, Moonsault Knee Drop) Dennis Knight 3. Sambo Asako (4:43, Chickenwing Armlock) Mitsueru Tokuda 4. Tarzan Goto (6:01, Sit-Out Bomb) Mitsuhiro Matsunaga 5. Masanobu Kurisu [W] & Jos LeDuc (9:08, Lariat) Atsushi Onita [L] & Dick Murdoch
Notes:
-Tsuchiya and Dawn managed to come back and beat Sato & Matsuda, brining it to 2-2, which means whoever wins the next match, wins the series, which is both at the final show of the tour and the next one.
-Wakita, something of a underachiever, actually managed to win over the larger Knight, when his knee clipped Knight's head when executing a Moonsault, stunning him long enough for a pin.

FMW 12/10/89 Korakuen Hall
1. Shoji Akiyoshi (6:46, Arm-Trap Crossface) Keiji Takayama 2. Best of 5: Miwa Sato & Kumiko Matsuda (4:54, Double Countout) Princess Delta Dawn & Eriko Tsuchiya 3. Dennis Knight (6:57, Reverse DDT) Mitsueru Tokuda 4. Masanobu Kurisu (7:19, Half Crab Hold) Billy Mack 5. Sambo Asako (7:01, Grounded Body Scissors Front Sleeper) Monkey Magic Wakita 6. Despina Montagas (6:02, Diving Body Press) The Witch Warrior 7. Steel Chain Street Fight Deathmatch: Dick Murdoch (10:34, Steel Chain-assited Choke Hold -> Referee Stoppage) Jos LeDuc 8. Caribbean Barbed Wire Deathmatch: Atsushi Onita [W] & Tarzan Goto (11:01, Thunder-Fire Powerbomb -> K.O.) Masashi Aoyagi [L] & Mitsuhiro Matsunaga
Notes:
-Akiyoshi and Takayama were the other two NJPW dojo students that suffered the same fate of Wakita.
-The Best of 5 eventually found all four ladies tied with a 2-2-1 overall result. It seems neither Sato & Matsuda or Tsuchiya are right or wrong.
-A bald head didn't stop the returning Billy Mack from falling victim to the ever-irritable Kurisu.
-After a couple of losses, Murdoch brought the Chain back again, this time versus LeDuc. And with it, managed to avenge himself by choking the berserk French-Canadian out with it.
-Both FMW and the WKA believe it was time to end the fued. And so, Aoyogi returned with his best student to take on FMW's top two in a most violent match. Fans have seen chain matches and street brawls, but they haven't seen a match where barbed wire is wrapped over the ropes and anything is legal (This match was popular in the WWC in Puerto Rico, which is in the Caribbean, hence the name). Both Karatekas wanted to avenger their humiliations at the hands of pro wrestling, but the violence they encountered was nothing they have ever seen before, bu Onita and Goto have, and thus had more experience, and were able to crush them.
-After the show, Onita promised this was just taste of things to come, and 1990 would be FMW's true year and promised more martial artists, more women, and more violence.

*Tournament Report*
To start of the first full year, FMW has booked a one-night, 16-man tournament with a unique prize.
On the 5th of January, a promotion in Mexico called the WWA comissioned a title called the WWA Mexican Brass Knuckles Heavyweight Title and awarded it to Beast the Barbarian, a wrestler there. The idea is by coming to FMW is to build up it's prestige by him defending in the tournament and winning it, but the competition will be fierce. Here are the 16 men.
1. Atsushi Onita 2. Tarzan Goto 3. Sambo Asako -The FMW reps.
4. Masanobu Kurisu -Also technically a FMW rep, but his pride won't allow him to admit it.
5. Dick Murdoch 6. Jos LeDuc 7. Jimmy Backlund 8. Billy Mack -Several gaijins from the U.S. and Canada in the tournament.
9. Mitsuhiro Matsunaga 10. Mitsuteru Tokuda 11. Akitoshi Saito -The WKA reps.

Atsushi Onita becomes the 2nd Generation WWA Mexican Brass Knuckles Heavyweight Champion. 15. FMW One Night Tournament, Finals & WWA Mexican Brass Knuckles Heavyweight Title match: Atsushi Onita (8:27, Thunder-Fire Powerbomb) Masanobu Kurisu **Atsushi Onita succeds in his V1 defense.
Notes:
-As explained earlier, the WWA sent the 1st ever WWA Mexican Brass Knuckles Heavyweight champion, Beast the Barbarian into the tournament with the hopes of fedending it four times while winning the tournament, but it didn't quite go as planned...
-Some new faces were Lee Gak Soo & Kim Hyun Hwan are martial artists from South Korea. Soo is trained in Hapkido and Hyun in Tae Kwon Do. Katsuji Ueda is a kickboxer, and Saito is another Karateka and as explained earlier, Beast the Barbarian is a power brawler from Mexico. No one seems to know who The Shooter is, who is wearing a full bodysuit and mask is, however.
-After two succeful defenses, Beast ran up against Onita, and to everybody's suprise, actually beat him and became the 2nd Champion! What will be the WWA's response?
-Although the deal was Beast to defend his title to the finals, Onita agreed to do what he could not and made both a succesful V1 and a win in the tournament against Kurisu. Now, after it's largest event, FMW has captured a title. But, can they keep it?

FMW 2/7/90 Tokyo Small Country Dome
1. Akihito Ichihara (4:55, Moonsault Press) Yukihide Ueno 2. Yoshika Maedomari (5:06, Crucifix Powerbomb) Yuki Morimatsu 3. Miwa Sato (4:32, Figure-4 Leglock) Erika Tsuchiya 4. Despina Montagas (1:42, Huracanrana Cutback) Kumiko Matsuda 5. Sambo Asako & Monkey Magic Wakita [W] (7:43, Diving Cross Body) Mitsuteru Tokuda & Akitoshi Saito [L] 6. Differ Style match: Masanobu Kurisu (3:04, Groin Attack -> DQ) Katsuji Ueda 7. Beast the Barbarian (9:56, Half Nelson Backbreaker) Mistushiro Matsunaga 8. FMW Independent Brass Knuckles Heavyweight Title match: Atushi Onita (7:58, Pulling Piledriver) Tarzan Goto **Atsushi Onita succeds in his V2 defense.
Notes:
-This show saw the debuts of Akihito Ichihara, Yukihide Ueno, Yoshika Maedomari & Yuki Morimatsu.
-During the Differ Style fight, it seems like Ueda accidentally kicked Kurisu in the crotch, but it was difficult to tell on. Never the less, Ueda was DQ's, but his short fuse lead to a brawl afterwords.
-It took FMW no time to rechristen the WWA Mexican Brass Knuckles Heavyweight Title into a name more fitting for them. It seems there is also an agreement between both groups: If beast the Barbarian can't win it back before the end of the year, it stays within FMW. With that info in mind, Onita chose a strong opponent in Tarzan Goto. Goto's weight made lifting him for the TF-Powerbomb difficult, but eventually, he switched up his tactics.

Barbed Wire Ropes & Boards Double Hell Deathmatch: Atsushi Onita (13:46, Thunder-Fire Powerbomb) Masanobu Kurisu
Notes:
-CMLL send over two of their rising young starts for a exhibition on Lucha Libre rules. Note, this Barbarian named Konnan is not Beast, it's somewhat different.
-After their impressive showing, it seems the two Korean fighters Soo and Hwan are invited back.
-Kurisu hated how he lost in the finals, so he issued a rematch, but Onita said he would not defend against Kurisu again, so instead, changed into an extremley violent match. The ropes were taken down, two sides were replaced with strands of barbed wire and two boards wrapped in it lay on the ground in front of the other sides. Then, Onita clinched his win against Kurisu in a very bloody affair that drove the fans into roaring applause.

Notes:
-Two former AJW wrestler, Megumi Kudo and Noriyo Toyoda, joined the company as Heels, feeling the rookies here are easy pickings.
-Onita, in his V3 decided to go after the #3 native in FMW, Sambo Asako, this show. Asako, knowing how important it was to win, tried everything. Sambo submissions, pro wrestling throws, karate kicks, everything, but Onita's perseverance won out, and he clinched it with his signature powerbomb.
