FMW Independant Brass Knuckles Heavyweight Title match: Atsushi Onita (18:01, Snap DDT) Rick Titan **Atsushi Onita succeds in his V8 defense.
Notes:
-In a stand-alone show in November, Kumiko Matsuda and Combat Toyoda will go to war for Toyoda's WWA Mexican Women's Title and to be the first-ever FMW Indepedant Women's Title in a Street Fight, with Matsuda getting the last victory over Toyoda's team.
-All tour, Gregory Veritchev and Boris Gogichashivilli has gone undefeated, and will be a major force in the Tag Team Round Robin in December for sure.
-Matsunaga continues to indulge his intrest in regular pro wrestling by having a full-on Deathmatch in a Steel Chain Deathmatch with the vile Mister Pogo, which resultes in Pogo taking the chain of his hand and using it to strangle Matsunaga out cold. Tough break.
-Although Ichihara has shown tremendous growth, in the end, he still came up short against the vicious striker Ueda who made a succesful V1.
-Onita has really made 1990 quite possibly the most succesful of his career, and pulled a hat trick on defeating his latest challenger Rick "Big" Titan in a hard-hitting display of power and guts. At leats this time, Onita can take a break, for November is a stand-alone Joshi show and December is a massive Round Robin.

FMW 11/22/90 Shizuoka Twin Messe
1. Mayumi Shimizu (4:19, Snap DDT) Yukie Nabeno 2. Keiko Iwami (5:01, Crab Hold) Rie Nakamura 3. Yuki Morimatsu (12:06, Diving Double Knee Drop) Despinga Goto 4. Svetlana Gundarenko (9:04, Cross Armbreaker) Princess Delta Dawn 5. Yoshika Maedomari (12:32, Crucifix Powerbomb) Megumi Kudo 6. Eriko Tsuchiya (9:57, Double Countout) Miwa Sato 7. WWA Mexican Women's Title & FMW Independant Women's Title Street Fight Deathmatch : Combat Toyoda (16:59, Double-Underhook Thunder-Fire Powerbomb) Kumiko Matsuda **Combat Toyoda becomes the 1st Generation FMW Independant Women's Champion and succeeds in her V1 defense of the WWA Mexican Women's Champion.
Notes:
-This was a stand-alone show in November dedicated strictly to the Women's Division today.
-The newest FMW Dojo trainees Mayumi Shimizu, Keiko Iwami, Yuki Nabeno & Rie Nakamura all debuted today, as well.
-After her win over Despinga Goto, Yuki Morimatsu was offered an concrete alliance between Megumi Kudo, Kumiko Matsuda & Miwa Sato, which she agreed to.
-Similiar to her male companions, Gregory Veritchev and Boris Gogichashivili, Svetlana Gundarenko is another Judoka from Russia, who faced the returning Princess Delta Dawn. After winning, Vetlana declared she cared little about the squabbles, and is dedicated strictly about winning alone.
-Similar to her dojo rival's offer, after betaing Megumi Kudo, Yoshika Maedomari was offered a similar deal to join The Outsiders of Combat Toyoda, Eriko Tsuchiya & Despinga Goto, which she also agreed to. So, it looks like it's 4 vs 4, with the new girls and Svetlana in the middle.
-Combat Toyoda is easily the most dominant wrestler in the Women's Division, but has had a persistent thorn in her side in the name of Kumiko Matsuda over the past few months. Due to her winning ways, and Matsuda's growth, when FMW needed to crown a Women's Champion, both were the logical choice, and their animosity needed a Street Fight for the proper carnage, but in the end Toyoda dfeeated Matsuda in a desicive win, and with both title declared both to be in a union of one single title called the FMW & WWA Independant Women's Double Crown Title.

1990 was FMW's first full year of touring and overall, existence, and was a definite success. To celebrate, FMW has called for a 9 team Round Robin tournament filled with wrestlers form various countries and trained in various styles with the intent of who is the best. The tournament is called the "FMW Pro Wrestling Summit Tag League" and will run from the 10th to the 27th of December. And now, a quick look at the participants.
1. Tarzan Goto & Sambo Asako -Country of Representing: Japan -Promotion of Representing: Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling (FMW) -Style of Representing: Pro Wrestling (Goto) & Sambo (Asako)
-The #2 & 3 faces of FMW beneath Onita, both Goto and Asako are strong favorites to win.
2. Yukihide Ueno & Shoji Nakamaki -Country of Representing: Japan -Promotion of Representing: Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling (FMW) -Style of Representing: Pro Wrestling
-The two Heavyweight FMW Dojo students, 1990 is Ueno and Nakamaki's first year in wrestling, and to say they are the underdog is a understatement. Still, they vow to do their best.
3. Mitsuhiro Matsunaga & Mitsuteru Tokuda -Country of Representing: Japan -Promotion of Representing: World Karate Association (WKA) -Style of Representing: Karate
-When both Matsunaga and Tokuda entered FMW at the start in October of 1989, the fans weren't too keen on them, but as nastier wrestlers emerged and they continued to wrestle, the reception has become much warmer. Still, both vow to represent the WKA and Karate in general, despite Matsunaga's increasing fascination with other facets of pro wrestling.
4. Mister Pogo & "The Dragonmaster" Kendo Nagasaki -Country of Representing: Puerto Rico -Promotion of Representing: World Wrestling Council (WWC) -Style of Representing: Ninjitsu
-The native heels of FMW, Pogo and Nagasaki are best known as the "Ninja Express", competing in places like NJPW, WCW, Stampede Wrestling, WWC and other such places. Both are experienced and will stop at nothing to win.
5. Mike Awesome & Rick Titan -Country of Representing: The United States -Promotion of Representing: Pro Wrestling Federation (PWF) -Style of Representing: Pro Wrestling
-These two massive gaijins have made storms recently, both taking the Ace of FMW, Atsushi Onita, to his limits on each separate occasions. Now, both monsters are together, and most feel they may bulldoze the competition.
6. Lee Gak Soo & Kim Hyun Hwan -Country of Representing: South Korea -Promotion of Representing: Korea Tae Kwon Do Association (KTKDA) -Style of Representing: Hapkido (Soo) & Tae Kwon Do (Hwan)
-While the WKA reps didn't get such a nice feel of FMW due to their Sensei, Masashi Aoyogi's arrogance, the reps have always been supportive of FMW. Soo, the first-ever Independent Martial Arts Light Heavyweight Champion, missed October to get his mind back in shape, and has returned with his partner Hwan to win it.
7. Beast the Barbarian & El Gran Mendoza -Country of Representing: Mexico -Promotion of Representing: World Wrestling Association (WWA) -Style of Representing: Lucha Libre
-To say the WWA has a dislike of FMW is a understatement. Humiliated at them taking two of their titles for their own, they have sent the assassins Beast the Barbarian and newcomer El Gran Mendoza to extract revenge of FMW any way they can.
8. The Shooter #1 & The Shooter #2 -Country of Representing: Canada -Promotion of Representing: Stampede Wrestling -Style of Representing: Catch Wrestling
-Two of the more mysterious men in FMW, no one really knew where the Shooters come from, but apparently, it's Canada, though since Ricky Fuji was speaking for them, may be a joke on us. Never the less, both are in, and will use their mix of shoot-style wrestling and dirty tactics to get ahead.
9. Gregory Veritchev & Boris Gogichashivili -Country of Representing: Russia -Promotion of Representing: Federation International of Judo (FIJ) -Style of Representing: Judo
-These two men came into FMW last October with little knowledge about them, but quickly made an impact, both going undefeated all tour. They have come back for more, and it would be downright foolish to mis-underestimate them.

Just to clarify, WWF and WCW and many of the other American promotions do not exist in this, right?

-After some inactivity, Gregory and Boris, come back and beat the strikers with their submission know-how and gain two points.
-Finally, Goto and Asako are scraping back up, beating the Ninja Express in the main event and awarded two points.
Standings: 1. Mike Awesome & Rick Titan [6] 1. Gregory Veritchev & Boris Gogichashivilli [6] 1. Mitsuhiro Matsunaga & Mitsuteru Tokuda [6] 4. Lee Gak Soo & Kim Hyun Hwan [5] 4. Tarzan Goto & Sambo Asako [5] 4. The Shooters [5] 7. Mister Pogo & "The Dragonmaster" Kendo Nagasaki [3] 8. Beast the Barbarian & El Gran Mendoza [2] 9. Yukihide Ueno & Shoji Nakamaki [0]

FMW Pro Wrestling Summit Tag League: Lee Gak Soo [W] & Kim Hyun Hwan [7] (14:57, Reverse Full Nelson) Beast the Barbarian [L] & El Gran Mendoza {2}
Notes:
-Megumi Kudo and her faction has succesfully won the Best of 7, with Kudo directly pinning her former tag partner Combat Toyoda to clinch the series. Now, Kudo will challenge Toyoda for her Women's Double Crown Title at the end of the tour.
-Mike Awesome and Rick Titan continue their reign of dominance, even beating some their faction co-members, The Shooters, without pity or mercy and earning two more points to be the #1 Team on the block right now.
-Yukihide Ueno and Shoji Nakamaki knew this Tag League would be an uphill struggle, but they never knew how tought it could be, but being viciously beaten by the Ninja Express may be a good way to learn this.
-The WWA team is so far failing to be the assassins as promised, suffering another loss, while Soo and Hwan continue their climb up.

Notes:
-Still no luck for Ueno and Nakamaki, as the WKA team of Matsunaga and Tokuda made quick work of them.
-After a small hiccup of two, Gregory & Boris are back on track, defeating the once-dominant Shooters for two points.
-Although Beast the Barbarian is a fellow member of the Quinnones Family, the Ninja Express gave him and his partner Mendoza no camaderie, as they clubbed their way to victory and two points.

Barbed Wire Baseball Bat Scramble Bunkhouse Deathmatch: Mister Pogo (15:49, Jumping Piledriver) Atsushi Onita
Notes:
-In a battle with one of the top teams versus the lowest-scored team, Yukihide Ueno & Shoji Nakamaki put all they ahd into the match and almost looked like they could pull it off, but the (ex) Soviet Slaughterers took them down in the end. They gained two points are are currently the #1 team in the League.
-Finally, the WWA tea is starting to get back on track. While too late to win it, at least beating the declining Shooters, gives the Mexican team 4 points altogether now.
-In a battle of Titans, the FMW Sekigun had a plan. By luring Mike Awesome outside and beating him down, then rushing back and double-teaming Rick Titan, Tarzan Goto and Sambo Asako used teamwork to defeat the terrible duo.
-In the main event, the 1st-ever Scramble Bunkhouse Deathmatch was born. Pitting rivals Atsushi Onita and Mister Pogo against eachother, the only rules was charging to the ring after the ref counted to 10. Besides that and a barbed wire baseball bat, everything else was fair game. After a bloody and vicious brawl, Mister Pogo toppled Onita, and possibly layed claim for a rematch for the title.
Standings: 1. Gregory Veritchev & Boris Gogichashivilli [10] 2. Mike Awesome & Rick Titan [8] 2. Mitsuhiro Matsunaga & Mitsuteru Tokuda [8] 4. Lee Gak Soo & Kim Hyun Hwan [7] 4. 1. Gregory Veritchev (4:01, Cross Armbreaker) Ryo Miyake 2. Combat Toyoda [W], Rie Nakamura & Yukie Nabeno (7:01, Axe Bomber) Megumi Kudo, Mayumi Shimizu [L] & Keiko Iwami 3. Jang Yong Wow (8:39, Head-and-Arm Suplex -> K.O.) Shoji Nakamaki 4. FMW Pro Wrestling Summit Tag League: Mister Pogo [W] & Kendo Nagasaki {9} (9:43, Fireball Attack -> K.O.) Mike Awesome & Rick Titan [L] {8} 5. Boris Gogichasivilli (8:49, Doujime Sleeper Hold) Kim Hyun Hwan 6. FMW Pro Wrestling Summit Tag League: Tarzan Goto & Sambo Asako [W] {9} (11:46, Americana) Beast the Barbarian & El Gran Mendoza [L] {4} 7. Yoshika Maedomari (8:49, Full Nelson Slam) Kumiko Matsuda 8. No DQ match: Atsushi Onita [W], Akitoshi Saito, Lee Gak Soo, Akihito Ichihara & Yukihide Ueno (14:58, Fisherman's Buster) Masanobu Kurisu, Ricky Fuji, Katsuji Ueda, The Shooter #1 [L] & The Shooter #2
Notes:
-The Ninja Express and the team of Mike Awesome and Rick Titan couldn't afford any more loses in their climb to the top, so a sense of desperation was sensed, and then felt when Pogo took out a bootle of clear liquid, took a swing, procurred a lighter, and breathed a massive stream of fire at Titan! The flame forced the ref to stop the match, and gave him and Nagasaki two points.
-Goto and Asako got the break they needed, with a more easier match against the WWA team, and two crucial points added to them.
Standings: 1. Gregory Veritchev & Boris Gogichashivilli [10] 2. Mister Pogo & "The Dragonmaster" Kendo Nagasaki [9] 2. Tarzan Goto & Sambo Asako [9] 4. Mike Awesome & Rick Titan [8] 5. Mike Awesome [W], Rick Titan, Katsuji Ueda & Keiji Takayama (10:45, Running Powerbomb) Atsushi Onita, Akitoshi Saito, Akihito Ichihara & Shoji Nakamaki [L]
Notes:
-Getting one last laugh, the WWA team of Beast the Barbarian and El Gran Mendoza scored a cheap win over the WKA reps of Mitsuhiro Matsunaga & Mitsuteru Tokuda with the aid of a pair of brass knuckles.
-By defeating The Shooters, the Ninja Express has become the #2 team under the Russians, and might be the team to challenge them in the finals.
-...Or not, as Goto and Asako also claimed victory, tying the Ninja Express at 11 points. Thus, in the final show of the tour, both teams muct challenge eachother for the rights to go the finals.
-Also, on the show, the Women's Double Crown Title and Martial Arts Light Heavyweight Title will be defended.
Final Standings: 1. Gregory Veritchev & Boris Gogichashivilli [12] 2. Mister Pogo & "The Dragonmaster" Kendo Nagasaki [11] 2. Tarzan Goto & Sambo Asako [11] 4. Mike Awesome & Rick Titan [10] 5. Jimmy Backlund (9:06, Texas Piledriver) Jang Yong Wow 3. Akihito Ichihara [W], Yukihide Ueno, Shoji Nakamaki & Ryo Miyake (11:04, Moonsault Press) Masanobu Kurisu, Ricky Fuji, The Shooter #1 [L] & The Shooter #2 4. FMW & WWA Independent Women's Double Crown Title match: Combat Toyoda (17:03, Double-Undehook Thunder-Fire Powerbomb) Megumi Kudo **Combat Toyoda succeeds in her V1 defense. 5. Mike Awesome & Rick Titan [W] (9:38, Diving Lariat) Lee Gak Soo & Kim Hyun Hwan [L] 6. FMW Independent Martial Arts Light Heavyweight Title match: Katsuji Ueda (13:21, Spinning Backfist -> K.O.) Akitoshi Saito **Katsuji Ueda succeeds in his V2 defense. 7. Kumiko Matsuda [W], Miwa Sato & Yuki Morimatsu (8:57, Sleeper Hold) Eriko Tsuchiya, Despinga Goto & Yoshika Maedomari [L] 8. Beast the Barbarian (12:03, Diving Elbow Drop) Atsushi Onita 9. FMW Pro Wrestling Summit Tag League, Finals: Gregory Veritchev & Boris Gogichashivili [W] (20:44, Rear Naked Choke -> Referee Stoppage) Tarzan Goto [L] & Sambo Asako
Details:
-The 1st match was to determine the finals of the Tag League of Tarzan Goto and Sambo Asako versus the Ninja Express of Mister Pogo & "The Dragonmaster" Kendo Nagasaki. After a long battle, the FMW Sekigun moves on to face Gregory Veritchev and Boris Gogichasivilli in the finals.
-Along with Despinga Goto, Combat Toyoda and Megumi Kudo were the founders of the heel women's stable, "The Outbreakers". However, thw two split when Toyoda accused Kudo of going soft when she began to team too much with other women the FMW Dojo trained. After many months of conflict, the fued reached a fever pitch now with the titles added for fuel. Although Kudo gave 110%, Toyoda played fair at first, only to stun Kudo with some brass knuckles and finish her off with the Double-Underhook Thunder-Fire Powerbomb. Although Toyoda's V1 is a success, one gets the feeling that she has not fully vanquished Kudo.
-The young WKA fighter Akitoshi Saito has been growing strong since joining the FMW, and aimed to lift the Martial Arts Light Heavyweight title from Katsuji Ueda. Kickboxing VS Karate ended with Ueda knocking Saito out and securing a victory and a V2 defense.
-When Beast the Barbarian entered FMW in January of this year, it was only for one show. But, when Atsushi Onita defeated him and took his title away, he has been chasing Onita all year for it. Beatinh him today, Beast the Barbarian demanded one last match in FMW, with the title on the line. If he wins, FMW will lose it's top title! But, Atsushi Onita has to defeat the WWA once and for all, but Mister Pogo will not be pleased to know he was overlooked...
-It's been a long month for everybody in FMW, and especially long for Tarzan Goto and Sambo Asako. Having to earn their place in the finals by having one tough match against the Ninja Express, they had to have a even tougher one in the main event. Although Gregory Veritchev and Boris Gogichasivilli are tough by themselves, one has to think two matches reduced the chances of Goto and Asako winning. Sadly, both would fall in the end to the Russians, as the winners of the FMW Pro Wrestling Summit Tag Leagure indeed Gregory Veritchev & Boris Gogichashivili!
Post-match, both decalred they would be back next year with gold in sight! With two old opponents and possible two new ones all chasing after him, Atsushi Onita looks to have a rough new year ahead of him...

FMW 1/6/91 Korakuen Hall
1. Yukihide Ueno (8:08, Tiger Driver) Shoji Nakamaki 2. Mike Awesome [W] & Ricky Fuji (10:01, Running Powerbomb) Akihito Ichihara & Ryo Miyake [L] 3. Gregory Veritchev (11:09, Cross Armbreaker) Mitsuteru Tokuda 4. Svetlana Gundarenko [W], Kumiko Matsuda & Miwa Sato (15:39, Achilles Tendon Lock) Combat Toyoda, Despinga Goto & Yoshika Maedomari [L] 5. Yuki Morimatsu (10:21, Diving Double Knee Drop) Eriko Tsuchiya 6. Lee Gak Soo & Jang Yong Wow [W] (8:02, Release German Suplex -> K.O.) Katsuji Ueda & The Shooter [L] 7. Mitsuhiro Matsunaga (8:42, Cross-Arm Thunder-Fire Powerbomb) Jimmy Backlund 8. Tarzan Goto (8:09, Lariat) Boris Gogichasivilli 9. Street Fight: Beast the Barbarian [W] & Mister Pogo (17:07, Gutwrench Powerbomb) Atsushi Onita & Sambo Asako [L]
Notes:
-Svetlana Gundarenko has returned to lay claim to the FMW & WWA Independent Women's Double Crown Title and will be opposed to Combat Toyoda all tour.
-Speaking of which, Jang Yong Wow has also come forth with a challenge, this one to Katsuji Ueda and the FMW Independent Martial Arts Light Heavyweight Title.
-Both Beast the Barbarian and Mister Pogo have laid claim to Onita's Independant Brass Knuckles Heavyweight Title, but with Beast himself winning, he will take on Onita in the tour. A good thing for him too, as if the WWA' can't get the title back before the end of January, it stays within the FMW.
