-The Outbreakers scored another win today, and with the score at 3-2, if they can win again, they have clinched it.
-Horace Boulder suffered his first direct loss today against a irate Tarzan Goto, who continued to attack him afterwords. while Mike Awesome chased him away, Goto seemed content this time in what he did.
-Another win for Veritchev means he takes the lead now at 3-2.

Notes:
-Due to another (albeit indirect) win over Ueda, the WWA team is confirmed to get a shot. Only problem is deciding who gets it, which probably will be pitted against eachother in a singles match for it.
-With Maedomari's direct win over Sato, The Outbreakers have won the Best of Seven.
-In the semi-main event, Onita and Goto were having problems working together making them easy prey against the united gaijin team of Awesome and Titan.
-The main event saw a variety of martial arts on display, but Matsunaga managed to get the win, and make it 4-3.

Mitsuhiro Matsunaga [W], Mitsuteru Tokuda & Akitoshi Saito (11:43, Enzui High Kick ->) Greogry Veritchev [, Boris Gogichasivilli & Jang Yong Wow
Notes:
-In the 3rd match, tag partners Amigo Ultra and El Pandita faced eachother after going undefeated all tour to win a shot against Katsuji Ueda, but only one of them could do it, and so a singles match was booked, with Ultra beating Pandita, and earning the chance.
-Speaking of Ueda, he and fellow Family member Ricky Fuji, were against Tarzan Goto and the younger Shoji Nakamaki, with the youngster losing. Again, Goto was less then pleased about this.
-In the final show before the tour ends, Matsunaga directly knocked out Veritchev himseld to win it 5-4, but can he do it again when it really counts and there is no tag partners?

Exploding Barbed Wire Ropes & Boards Double Hell Deathmatch: Tarzan Goto (14:27, Pancake Facebuster) Mister Pogo 8. FMW Independant Brass Knuckles Heavyweight Title match: Gregory Veritchev (14:03, Cross Armbreaker) Mitsuhiro Matsunaga **Gregory Veritchev succeds in his V2 defense.
Notes:
-The second match saw an intresting clash of Lucha Libre VS Judo, as El Pandita, whose partner Amigo Ultra had defeated him last show, beat Boris Gogichasivilli, who had been supporting his tag partner Gregory Veritchev all tour, with a clever roll-up.
-The young, but powerful Yoshika Maedomari presented a tough challenge to new Champion, Miwa Sato, but Sato used the idea of taking out the legs of the powerhouse, would not only give her a submission attack point but weaken her overal offense. The idea was sound and Sato made a succesful V1 defense.
-An absolutely gigantic Elimination match happened today as the FMW Main Army and the Quinnones Family waged a titanic war against eachother, that finally ended with Mike Awesome crushing Sambo Asako with an unbeliveable top-rope Powerbomb. While the war isn't over, everybody knows that FMW lost a crucial battle.
-The WWA tandem of Amigo Ultra and El Pandita have went undefeated all tour, and last show, Ultra beat Pandita for a shot against the reigning Light Heavyweight champ, Katsuji Ueda. However, Ueda, who had fought against Ultra twice during the tour, knew to keep Ultra grounded, and wore him down with strikes. Can anyone defeat Ueda?
-Speaking of, Tarzan Goto has been acting like a prick to his teammates and a juggernaut to his enemies all tour, and finally this has lead to a violent Deathmatch against the leader of the pack, Mister Pogo. There was no love loss here, but Goto fought like a man possesed, and defeated Pogo in the end.
Afterwords, other members of the Quinnones Family came out, and assited Goto in beating up Pogo! It seems Pogo is out, and Goto is in, and has betrayed the FMW Main Army, no less!
-In contrast to the brutal street fights and deathmatches below them, the main event was violent in a more traditional way as Karateka Mitsuhiro Matsunaga took on Judoka Gregory Veritchev in a display of striking VS submissions, with Veritchev finally getting Matsunaga on the ground long rnough for his trademark Jujigatame.
Afterwords, Tarzan Goto and his new army rushed down, threw Matsunaga out and beat Veritchev savagely with chairs! Although the Main Army rushed out, Goto got a mic, and said he knows Onita wants a shot against Veritchev, but he claimed Onita wasn't worthy to smell his shit, much less face Veritchev, as he recently beat Onita, and was a force all tour. He then told Veritchev to stop being such a pussy, and know FMW isn't all about "nice, pansy-like exhibitions", and would face whoever challenged, not just who Veritchev wanted.
Although Goto and his gang left, Onita then asked Veritchev that he was facing a grave threat, and asked him to join the Main Army. After thinking about it, Veritchev shook Onita's hand, and a friendship was forged.

*News Info*
A day after FMW's 4/22/91 show, three important men in the running of FMW have resigned. They are Kazuyoshi Osako, President, Mickey Ibargi, Vice-President, and Victor Quinnones, Booker and Foreign Talent Agent. Now, recently the three have opened a new promotion called Wrestling International New Generations, or "W*ING". However, as the three left, they took a number of talent with them:
Mitsuhiro Matsunaga, Mitsuteru Tokuda and Akitoshi Saito have left both FMW and the World Karate Association to join W*ING. Joining them is Mister Pogo, the once-top heel of FMW, Shoji Nakamaki and Ryo Miyake, two of the FMW Dojo's graduates, Savio Vega and Jesus Castillo Jr., who last March have impressed enough to be called back, and were signed to appear in FMW's May tour. Also, Dick Murdoch, who was also going to return in May, has also went to them and Shoji Akiyoshi and Keiji Takayama, two Freelancers who have regular appeared for FMW. To note, "The Dragonmaster" Kendo Nagasaki, who left FMW in Febuary of 1991 to start his own group of NOW, has also singed a working relationship with W*ING. Plus, Pioneer Senshi, another Independent group, has recently folded, and a large group of rookies trained by it's owners of Ryuuma Go, Masahiko Takasugi and Apollo Sugawara have also joined W*ING.
Also, with their manager and namesake gone, the group once called the Quinnones Family has now been re-named Lethal Weapon by Tarzan Goto, flexing his muscles as the new leader and top heel.
Needless to say, this is a crucial blow to FMW but one that needed to be said. Thank you.

Eriko Tsuchiya, Yoshika Maedomari [W] & Rie Nakamura (11:13, Falling Body Slam) Kumiko Matsuda, Yuki Morimatsu & Mayumi Shimizu [L] 4. Jimmy Backlund (10:42, Dragon Sleeper) Katsuji Ueda 5. Tarzan Goto [W], Mike Awesome & Ricky Fuji (13:02, Pancake Facebuster) Gregory Veritchev, Boris Gogichasivilli & Jang Yong Wow [L]
Notes:
-This saw the debuts of a new FMW Dojo class of Eiji Ezaki, Masashi Honda and Katsutoshi Niiyama.
-A fellow college of Gregory Veritchev and Boris Gogichasivilli named Koba Kruranize also made his first FMW appearence.
-Jimmy Backlund scored a major win over Katsuji Ueda, submitting the vicious kickboxer. In September of 1990, these two fought in a one-night 8-man tournament to face then-champion Lee Gak Soo. Could this be the start for Backlund?
-More new faces, as a power gaijin from the states named Reggie (as in Regina) Bennett teamed with Combat Toyoda, facing the top Main army team of Miwa Sato and Megumi Kudo, pinning the current champion, much like Backlund's win.
-This show saw the new Goto-lead Quinnones Family, now calling itself "Lethal Weapon" taking on Gregory and his partners, and getting a 1-0 lead.

Notes:
-A big female Street Fight with the newocmer Bennett showing off her power once more and cementing an alliance with The Outbreakers. Looks like Sato has a new challenger...
-Speaking of challengers, Backlund pulled the wool over Ueda's eyes again with another victory with his new Dragon Sleeper.
-Goto advances his lead, making it 2-0.

Tarzan Goto & Beast the Barbarian [W] (11:07, Full Nelson Slam) Gregory Veritchev & Boris Gogichasivilli [L]
Notes:
-The newest Judoka, Koba Krutanize, suffered his first direct loss against Mike Awesome.
-Miwa Sato was still from last show's attack, and had to sit this one out. And adding her win today, it seems Bennett is unstoppable.
-After having Triple Threats against eachother, the new FMW Dojo class of Eiji Ezaki, Masashi Honda and Katsutoshi Niiyama faced their seniors Yukihide Ueno and Akihito Ichihara, plus the Korean Freestyle wrestler, Jang Yong Wow in a loss. Well, no one said climbing the ladder was easy.
-During the large semi-main event deathmatch, Jimmy Backlund and Katsuji Ueda spent almost the whole match fighting against eachother. It seems a collison between the two is soon imminent.
-The FMW crowd got a suprise when Tarzan Goto's partner in the main event turned out to be none other then Beast the Barbarian! The Beast, who left in January of this year, is currently on a tour with Oriental Pro, and had a break in the action, and helped Goto claim a 3-1 lead.

Notes:
-In the fourth match, Miwa Sato finally returned and spent the whole match brawling with Bennett, essientally making it a six-women tag, though Sato's team would get the win anyways.
-We have been used to two Shooters, but a third one aided Lethal Weapon inn the massive Street Fight. He was a bit bigger, and did seem somewhat familliar, though...
-In a direct re-match form the end of late April, Katsuji Ueda again directly K.o.'d the Mexican Marvel, Amigo Ultra. Also, in the mid-card, Jimy Backlund defeated Ueda's stablemate, Ricky Fuji.
-Gregory Veritchev was able to close the gap in the lead a bit as the Martial Artist Union made it 3-2, but still in Tarzan Goto's favour.

Notes:
-During their match, The Shooters and Horace Boulder interferred on Ueda's behald and beat down Backlund savagely with steel chairs. While the FMW Main Army chased them away, you can't help but think the damage is done.
-Veritchev ties it 4-4, with only two shows left, the last two matches are crucial.

-Sambo Asako claimed a huge scalp with a singles victory over Mike Awesome.
-With this win, Gregory Veritchev has made sure Tarzan Goto can't win the series, and either Veritchev will win 6-4, or a 5-5 tie if Goto or another partner wins next show.

No DQ match: Tarzan Goto [W] , Mike Awesome & Rick Titan (16:39, Steel Chair-assited Pancake Facebuster) Gregory Veritchev [L], Boris Gogichasivilli& Koba Krutanize
Notes:
-In the fourth and sixth matches, both Jimmy Backlund and Katsuji Ueda attacked eachother before and after their matches. It seems next show a regular match might not suffice...
-The Outbreakers, aided by Rie Nakamura, and the FMW Female Main army had a titanic clash, where Despinga Goto placed Keiko Iwami over Mayumi Shimizu and crushed both with a Diving Body Press, atlhough neither champion nor challenger was involved in the finish, both targeted eachother the whole match.
-Tarzan Goto had ended the series with his win in a 5-5 tie, but it wa snoted he scored a direct pinfall over Gregory Veritchev. Who knows what can happen next show where both take eachother on in a singles match for the gold?
