Street Fight: Mike Awesome [W] & The Shooter #1 (7:11, Thunder-Fire Powerbomb) Atsushi Onita [L] & Sambo Asako
Notes:
-Kumiko Matsuda took a huge scalp in submitting Combat Toyoda today. There are some rumors of crowning a women's champion in November, and Toyoda is believed to be the top seed in the match for the 1st champion, so Matsuda's win may get her into that match.
-Ricky Fuji's knack of breaking all the rules when facing someone like Tarzan Goto almost sent Goto over the edge after Fuji and the rest of his gang in The Shooters and Beast the Barbarian continued to beat him down. While other chased them away, Goto was completly livid.
-Awesome jumps up to 5-4 in the series after pinning Onita with his own finisher!

Atushi Onita & Jimmy Backlund [L]
Notes:
-While Katsuji Ueda is the #1 contender to the Independant Martial Arts Light Heavyweight Title after winning the tournament, Akihito Ichihara's direct win over Lee Gak Soo, as well as his continued improvement has earned him the next shot after Ueda.
-In the final match of the series, Onita could only hope to tie it, as winning it was no longer possible, but Awesome denied him even that, as he finished it 6-4. The final show of the the tour is soon and Awesome's power seems to be unchallenged, even by Onita...

Sambo Asako (8:08, Heel Hold) Ricky Fuji 8. Street Fight: Mister Pogo (9:37, Steel Chair-assited Double-Arm DDT) Tarzan Goto 9. FMW Independant Martial Arts Light Heavyweight Title match: Katsuji Ueda (13:02, Right Uppercut -> K.O.) Lee Gak Soo **Lee Gak Soo fails in his V5 defense. Katsuji Ueda becomes the 2nd Generation FMW Independant Light Heavyweight Champion. 10. FMW Independant Brass Knuckles Heavyweight Title & Steel Chain Deathmatch: Atsushi Onita (18:34, Steel Chain-assited Camel Clutch -> Referee Stoppage) Mike Awesome **Atsushi Onita succeds in his V7 defense.
Notes:
-The boiling point between Toyoda's gang and the FMW Dojo is at a boiling point, as even after the match was ended, Toyoda and Matsuda still continued to fight.
-Katsuji Ueda shocked the audience today by knocking out Lee Gak Soo and becoming the 2nd FMW Independant Martial Arts Light Heavyweight Champion! But, as noted, he will have to deal with Akihito Ichihara soon.
-Elsewhere in the Heavyweight division, Atsushi Onita maintains his stranglehold over the FMW Independant Brass Knuckled Heavyweight title by choking out (pun) gigantic gaijin Mike Awesome in a Steel Chain Deathmatch. When Awesome recovered, he mentioned something about a "partner" coming. Will Onita never rest from the continued onslaught of Pogo's forces?

A promotion in Japan that ran from 1989 to 2002. Kinda kicked off the whole hardcore thing in the 90's, even preceeding ECW. Tokyopop released a bunch of DVD's about them.

Notes:
-Two Judo fighters form Russia, Gregory Veritchev & Boris Gogichashivili, have entered FMW today after hearing of the competition it offers.
-After losing his title last month, Lee Gak Soo has decided to take a small break, and in his place, is Jang Yong Wow, a Freestyle Wrestler from South Korea.
-During the break, Combat Toyoda went to Mexicao and the WWA, and became the 1st ever WWA Mexican Women's Champion. However, since FMW is crowning a Women's champion next month, she has decided to unify both belts if she wins.
-Also, contracted female gaijin Despinga Montagas also has married FMW wrestler Tarzan Goto, and has taken the name of Despinga Goto.
-Mike Awesome's partner and a old friend of Ricky Fuji is Rick "Big" Titan, a man who lives up to his name as he mauled an unsuspecting Sambo Asako in his debut in FMW.
