I missed WM20. There isn't a chance in hell I'm missing this one. I don't even care if the card ends up sucking (probably not, as I am convinced it's going to be Taker's last match.) I think I might even try to get the better seats, instead of the $200 nosebleeds. Only problem is, this gives me another reason to stay in NY for another year. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) Is it really $200 for crappy seats? It was only $150 for my first tier seats to WM27 about 2 months before the show so unless NJ is ricockulously more expensive think nosebleeds will be a tad cheaper.

Ticket prices skyrocketed this year for WM28. I wasn't planning on going, but I went online when they went on sale out of curiosity. Hard camera lower level (not even risers) were $495 each. 200 level seats are still available and cost over $200 each. I imagine a lot of that had to do with the guarantee that The Rock would be wrestling, but I don't see them dropping for next year.

Oh. So I guess this pretty much ends the WM30 at MSG talk.
Good for NJ, though. The Meadowlands has been a WWE/F stronghold for decades, and now finally gets a Wrestlemania to add to its history with the company.

Weather over the last 5 years in East Rutherford, NJ on April 7: 2011: 52/41 trace amount of rain 2010: 91/55 no rain 2009: 48/39 no rain 2008: 51/41 no rain 2007: 42/30 no rain So average: 57/41 That means it will probably be low 50s upper 40s by show time. 2010 was such a hot year in the Northeast. Look at that! 91 degrees in 2010 on April 7, in the Meadowlands! Ah, I had thought they'd moved all operations to the Timex center in East Rutherford. Still, it's getting sillier and sillier. Yeah, Suny Albany is still their summer home for one more year at least. But, I think they'll pack up and move it to Jersey in '13. I used to deliver food to a lot of the Giants in the dorms, when I was a fast food delivery driver some years back.[/quote] And the Jets do their camp in Cortland, NY for the next two years at least.

Curses! I was so sure that St. Louis would get it... oh well. Maybe for XXX (though unlikely, Cowboy Stadium will probably be the weapon of choice).

Awesome news! I have family that lives about an hour away from MetLife. I'll visit them, and go to Wrestlemania! Two birds, one stone. I wanted to go to Miami this year, but I had insufficient funds for a flight, hotel, tickets, etc. and I don't want to go all the way to Miami just to sit in the nosebleeds.
I asked this question earlier in the thread, but now that we know The Rock will be there, what are the chances of him wrestling? And for that matter, wrestling who?

I don't care for NY Jets/NY Giants stadium but at least this year will be at Miami. I find the NY/NYJ WM logo to be ugly. I don't think the Empire State building should be the logo but who cares?

Does this mean Jersey Shore's The Situation is main eventing against Cena for the title?

I kind of figured it was just a matter of time on this one. The Meadowlands has a long tradition of WWE events, they were bound to host Wrestlemania eventually. And not to get all political, but considering our governor talks like he is on a WWE show so much, he seemed perfectly natural in front of a Wrestlemania logo. But at least he was willing to openly endorse it-most politicians would not go near wrestling with a hundred foot cattle prod.

I agree, but odds are, the Hall of Fame & Fan Axxess will be held in NYC, instead of Jersey. You got the IZOD Center right next door for the HOF, but I bet it will be held in MSG instead.
Just like The Super Bowl, New Jersey gets dissed again.

I would not rule out WM 30 in NYC. 10 and 11 were pretty close to each other.
However, if they do WM 30 in NYC, then expect something like SummerSlam to be in a Baseball or Football Stadium to recoup the revenue.

Do NOT call New Jersey "NY/NJ", don't call it New York, get the f*** out of here with that s***, WWE. To be fair, that's how people see my home state. The northern half is New York Jr. The southern half is Philladelphia Jr., save for Atlantic City which is Las Vegas Jr.

What if they do something crazy again...and have WM XXX in 3 different cities, MSG and two other venues that were important to WWE history.

But in fairness, which other two would you think of? LA like they seem to do every SummerSlam?

I could see them doing an East coast/midwest/West Coast thing. Like MSG/Chicago/LA thing. But with SS being in LA all the time now, they might have to reconsider it.

Oh my God, bite me WWE. YOU'RE DOING EVERYTHING IN NEW JERSEY, THE EMPIRE @#$%ING STATE BUILDING IS IN NEW YORK. IT'S NOT NY/NJ, IT'S JUST NEW JERSEY.I'm even annoyed at the Giants and Jets for that now; used to excuse them still being "New York" since they practiced and had training camp in NY, but now both teams practice in New Jersey. Partially Incorrect sir. The Giants still have Training Camp in Albany... For one more year, at least. East Rutherford is part of the NYC metropolitan area, so the Giants and Jets calling themselves New York is 100% appropriate. Besides, they aren't the only teams that do that.
