This is why I like Cena, how can you really say that things, not about the TV character, but the real guy? he is s*** because he do charity, really? Sorry but i couldnt care less. Im fine with him doing that outside the ring but when you make it apart of your character you just become a bitch to me. Its like Undertaker doing a be a star promo and then coming out on WWE television as Mark and talking about bullying and s***. But he is the face of the company, and he is a nice guy, not a ruthless badass, just a nice guy, it makes sense for him to do that class of stuff.

Why is it hard to believe? He slaughtered Billy Gunn like nobody we've ever seen. You mean to tell me that he can't go after Cena with all the ammo he HAS to have ready for him? Come on, man. Rock can go harder than that, and probably would have, if he was allowed to. People need to remember that they've had A YEAR to plan this thing out and to think over every detail. You mean to tell me that the Rock has a year to think up a killer promo and that is the best he can do? No f***ing way. Rock was on fire at that time. It was Billy Gunn. He just said that he sucks in a funny way. Cena has too much credibility to say he sucks. He's tried and tried to "own" him, and he can't do it, because fans want more than some random phrase with the word "bitch" in it these days. Are you making bad points on purpose, to make other people in this thread look good? Whatever you think of my opinion, you ain't gotta disrespect me like that, man.

Oh my, John Cena is a CM Punk wannabe! Who's a Chris Jericho wannabe! Everyone's a wannabe, it seems.

I want some wrestler to tell Cena that he doesn't speak for "all the boys in the back", and to stop acting like it. Eh, maybe, just maybe, he does speak for a majority of them. Yeah, but it's an incredibly pompous claim to make, and ONE wrestler refuting it would tear the whole argument down. Someone telling Cena no, NO ONE elected you locker-room leader, and we don't WANT you to fight the Rock for us, we can do that ourselves.

Rock seems unwilling to cut loose like Cena does for whatever reason. We know he can do it because he did it in in his YT promo but for whatever reason he seems more interested in getting things trending on twitter. As the guy a bit above me rightly pointed out, Rock seems to be in a kayfabe feud and Cena is letting it all out no holds barred Maybe it's because Cena is the face of the company almost all year round or perhaps it's because The Rock knows he could half-ass it and still get the loudest, most interactive reaction by far.

There's that "knowing better than everyone else" part of me saying Rock was supposed to look like shit out there, but seriously, I think I'm kidding myself. Cena killed tonight.

He's supposed to be the big hero that the kids get behind, and the fact that he lives up to the character outside of WWE television is a very admirable thing. Im sorry but most of the kids i see are foul mouthed whiners with high pitched voices that think faggot and gay are insults. At least the 8-14 year olds. So whatever Cena is doing aint working.

The Rock Apologists are in full force! Rock wouldn't come back and suck on purpose to make John Cena look good. Good god...I cant believe im having to post this.. Yeah he would. That's what wrestlers do. There's a reason why in every ric flair match theres a spot where the babyface beats flair up to the point where he begs off like a coward. There's a reason why ric flair has a spot where he gets his trunks pulled down and it exposes his ass to the crowd. That's like wrestling 101. There's one person who is written to be upstaged by another. That's completely different. That's a spot in a match for a cheap pop, that's not putting on a low quality performance to make a lower quality performer look better.

It's obvious that the WWE wants Cena to be an equal to Rock, but let's be real- they also clearly want Rock to be an equal to Cena. The fans chanting for Rocky and booing Cena isn't lost on them, and I doubt it's keeping Vince up at night. I don't know what else Rock could say about Cena, aside from different variations on the usual "you're not entertaining" charge (which is a lie and a half ).

OK so let's just say The Rock DID hold back based on the story progression in an attempt to put over Cena.
How does that translate into him winning this round? Sounds to me like he threw it.

Another thing is what if those notes on Rocks wrist were just really there for that ONE comment? Does anybody have a pic that CLEARLY shows what it says? It could just be random scribblings for all we know.

I guess they're pretty neck and neck overall now. Cena won tonight but Rock still hit him with his finisher to close two big PPVs.

Ok, I just realized people is taking this seriously, I mean, real serious, remember people, it's a wrestling angle, you can pick favorites but remember this is WWE, The Rock and Cena are not angry at each other, their promos weren't shoots, they knew what was going on there, it's ALL staged, every word and reaction, again you can pick favorites to win, but taking it like it's a real issue is just going to make more and more people angry, so, relax, take it easy.

Rock & Cena are paid professionals staging drama. We're 2 guys on a message board. He may not have meant to disrespect, but he did.

Rock is coming off as just a lame ass bully. Cena makes a legitimate point about him, and Rock disses his attire, Cena makes another legitimate point, and then Rock says he has no balls. It just reeks of schoolyard bully.
And this is coming from a diehard rock fan. It's just...looking pretty sad, Rock who is so prolific for his talking, not being able to come up with anything other than IM GONNA KICK YOUR ASS!

All Cena really did was call Rock out on his promo notes. Everything else he was going on about really didn't make sense to me. Rock wins because the crowd was on his side, and that's all that really matters.
