Why does Beth's title reigns always suck?

I mean this is the 4th time she has held the title. In her first one, she wasn't on tv half the time and in Bunnymania tag match; she came out to Melina's music.

In her second one, she was playing second fiddle to Santino in Glamarella. I wlll not count the third one because that was when she tore her ACL and had to drop it early.

Which leads us to currently, where once again she is barely on tv and the main Divas feud involves Eve and Kelly. Will Beth ever get a decent title reign lol?

The reign started off well enough. But it was about right after the Alicia Fox incident that she started not showing up on TV. I have no idea what happened.

Because when you have a champion who can easily crush and destroy most of the diva's on the roster, they have to keep her off TV in order to not make everyone else in the division look bad. Which is funny really, because the pathetically short match times and no storylines already make the division look bad.

Because it is impossible to be the champion of a non-existent division. This is not me being a sexist or anything like that. This is me being realistic. WWE produces about seven hours of first run television each week. Of that seven hours, if the women get five minutes of screen time, it was a good week for them.

Her reign will get interesting when she starts feuding with Kharma but she'll probably lose the title in their first match (or maybe second if she's lucky).

Would it be so hard for WWE to book a match where someone they actually want to use beats Beth for the title? Why Kelly or Eve isn't champion right now when their feud is the Diva feud right now is beyond me.

Because they know full well how worthless the title is so who's wearing it doesn't really matter.

It is worthless, and one of the things making it more worthless by the day is that the champion, and therefore the championship, keeps disappearing from television for weeks at a time. Putting it on someone else, someone who WWE actually wants to use, would be a good first step towards making the title not worthless.

This. It isn't so much a Beth Phoenix problem, so much as it's a "complete and total failure to book the Divas worth a damn" problem. Until that changes, don't expect anything particularly gripping from their division.

Yup, the Divas are booked in a meaningful way on a show that pretty much no one gives a damn about sadly.
As for that Alicia Fox/Beth Phoenix match, it looked like there was more planned but that head bump ended up cutting the match short.
And it's not that hard to turn around and book the Divas Title feud in an way that isn't completely apathetic, all that really needs to be done is to have Beth cut a promo saying she can never lose and have it be interrupted by Kharma and most of the crowd would pop huge.

This title run has been bad because no one wants to write anything interesting for her to do it seems. Eve is the biggest heel and she's not after the title and so far she's not even interested in the title at all. Beth's the champion but none of the other divas seem to care.

Which title reign was it that had Beth feuding with Candice Michelle? I thought that was a pretty good feud.

Thing is though, towards the end of the Phoenix/Sunka feud they were sort of giving half a damn with a long (by Divas TV standards) match on the go home Smackdown and Phoenix mentioned on TV/.com a couple of times the "No one can beat me thing" that just screamed Beth vs Kharma.
