December 9, 1994 Both Curt Hennig & Rick Rude appeared on camera at the WCW tapings that air in the next couple of weeks. Is that the whole post? Rude probably had the most successful part of his career in WCW, with the International title etc. I don`t remember Hennig in WCW at that point though...

That's because he never appeared on TV, that's the whole "what if" part of the post. Rude was also retired by this point and no longer in WCW.

Would have been interesting, would have given WCW another classy worker in Hennig too.

So much for generating more response to this by moving it to the other section lol

I like it. I love the stuff from 1990 because my friend would call a 1-900 number and tell me what he heard. He then ran up a 6000$ phone bill and could call anymore. I remember really being into the backstage stuff. Now I kind of hate it.

I'm having another coin flip moment with this week. 1992 or 1995. The 1992 story is about an angle which happened but a different aspect of it which didn't happen was rumored. The 1995 story is about a rumored return which never happened.

Rumours abound that the WWF will bring in Steve Austin and Cactus Jack, and that we'll also see the return of Demolition. Add to this the recurrent talk of Public Enemy being very close to signing with WCW and things get interesting for ECW.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
So 3 of those 4 things happened. But now let's think about the possibility of Demolition showing up in the WWF in 1996. Hell, the tag team division wasn't that great at this point really. Maybe it could've given the division a bit of a shot in the arm.

Demoltion would have definetly been at the top of the WWF's tag division in 1996 but who would make up this version of Demolition? Ax and Smash? Crush and Smash?

It would have been Crush and Blast, and no one would've cared.
Actually, I always liked Demo Crush. He and Smash weren't bad. not as good as Ax and Smaxh, but still good. I need to find one of those elusive Ax and Crush matches.

There is a rumour that Bret Hart is slated to drop the WWF strap to Ric Flair in February. I guess this goes hand in hand with Curt Hennig winning the Rumble, giving us a Flair vs. Hennig main event at WrestleMania.
---------------------------------------------
Now this one has lots of variables. Bret dropping the title, ANOTHER title reign for Flair, Perfect maineventing Wrestlemania 9, no Yokozuna, no Hogan, Flair staying in the WWF, etc etc etc.

Well, Wrestlemania 9 would have been 10 times better. Hogan could wrestle Yoko, Bret could wrestle Lex, IRS at Beefcake, and DiBiase vs. Undertaker, and Giant Gonzeles could be revealed as Taker's pay-off-ee as he attacks again during their match. It would be superb.
