Oh god, I just watched Kelly going crazy again! I haven't laughed so hard all week! That's the thing, Natalya didn't show any sympathy towards AJ at all. Go back and watch it again, the only thing Natalya is talking about is "Come on let's wrestle". She puts her hand on AJ's arm and says something else about "Let's wrestle" and before getting slapped, she shrugs towards the referee saying something to the extent of "What's wrong with her? Why won't she wrestle?". Josh Matthews abruptly mentions her showing sympathy, but that's about it. Err...she puts her hand on her arm ( sympathetically) and pats her on the back. Short of getting some chocolates and a chick flick out that's the most sympathy she could have shown during a match. |

Seriously, Someone tried to drag Zack Ryder to hell which was apparently under a WWE ring, we can ignore this, Its wrassslin. I never understood why people think size matters when it comes to a scripted show.

Err...she puts her hand on her arm ( sympathetically) and pats her on the back... ...while asking her "come on let's wrestle". People are acting like Natalya saw what happened beforehand with Bryan, came out concerned and sympathetically put her hand on AJ's arm and said "We don't have to do this, let's just go to the back and talk about it while we watch some Jennifer Aniston movies and do some retail therapy". People are totally trying to see something that isn't there and turn it into more than it really is. |

Here's an exercise for everyone-- instead of AJ and Nattie, imagine this were CM Punk (after he was berated by Y2J about his drunk dad for the first time) and Mark Henry (going up to him casually before their scheduled match, touching Punk's shoulders in the same way and imploring him to 'come on and let's wrestle'). You can't honestly tell me that Henry/Nattie's not doing something sympathetic in each scenario. Further more, I think the real issue here is that Nattie was made to look weak, not that the 'psychology' of small-framed AJ going crazy doesn't work. Let's call a spade a spade here. |

AJ didn't beat down Natalya. A tiny weakling didn't overpower one of the physically biggest women in the company. She just threw some crazy strikes at her until the ref pulled her off and ended the match. You're making a mountain out of a molehill.

On AJ busting Natalya open, we don't know she busted her hard or if that was caused by friction, i.e. her nails or boots. You can cut someone open by scratching at them, but someone with no muscle on their frame beating up a big and powerful person? Lolwut? Search "Natalya BLEEDS" on youtube and then go to her twitter and look at her banged up face. You don't need to look bad to be bad and no matter how bad you are you're still human and getting hit in the face is going to do damage even from a 100 pound girl. A smaller person being able to beat up a larger person is life, thinking its not possible or realist is suspending your disbelief. Oh wow, she got hit with an unprotected slap to the face. A horsefly of one inch in length can make a person bleed and have a big wound. But a horsefly isn't going to kill a person. All you have to do is hit it with your hand and it does. Similarly, Natalya doesn't have to do much to knock AJ out or anything. Seriously, Natalya doesn't even fight back or anything, she just sits there while this mosquito bites at her. Who is she? Mohandas Gandhi? A lot of people are talking about "defending AJ" and whatnot. This thread is NOT anti-AJ in any way. This is against the booking for yet another terrible move on their part. AJ's a good wrestler--I like her, but this segment was ridiculous. |

Whatever people like AJ or think she is hot so her segment was fine whereas Kelly's was a hellish nightmare of suck. I think they were both terrible, except the crowd actually reacted to Kelly Kelly. Seems like bias to me.

Like I said in my initial post I thought it was interesting character development for both. We all know that Natalya could demolish AJ so the question must be asked Why didn she? Poor booking is a lazy excuse especially since just about evrything in this multi month, multi tangent, multi character story line has been booked/written pretty well. Is Natalya going face? Will she forgive AJ. Did she try to do the right thing but now will feud with AJ be cause her compassionate act was rebuffed. This exactly the type of complex yet subtle storyline people have been complaing about being miss ing in the WWE for years. I don't find it unbelievable at all. |

It looked as if Natalya was shocked after taking a shot, which pictures show I guess AJ laid it in. So that helps to make it a little better. It seemed that Nattie wasn't selling the little freak out shots all that much, just the one shot.
Also, to answer the question of why some would prefer the AJ beating over the Kelly. Kelly is a talentless hack. Simple enough. I don't get this deal of people trying to point out hypocrisy where there isn't any. The issue is size, but AJ's one shot was what Nattie was selling the whole time. And there isn't hypocrisy when the other person being compared to is garbage. Oh, if the Great Khali did something or other, people wouldn't like that. Well no s***, he sucks. He can barely move. I don't get people trying to find hypocrisy comparing an attack done by AJ, who has been one of the bright spots among the divas, and Kelly Kelly of all people.
I'm a big hypocrite. I liked what the talented person did instead of what the untalented person did.

I had the same reaction because it even looks ridiculous when Eve puts Natalya into choke holds as a heel, when Naty could easily overpower her with just one move, not to mention what we have seen her do in a wrestling ring. Eve has Jiu-Jitsu training and probably knows more real submission holds than any other diva. And Natalya just cowered in the corner with her hand over her face and took it. Just a bad segment overall. AJ needed a weapon for this to be effective. So you're saying that Natalya should dominate AJ every single time except if AJ has a weapon? Why? Just because she's small doesn't mean she can't hurt someone. You also say she has no muscle, which is also not true, she just doesn't have gigantic muscles because she's not big. Besides you're missing the point. The point was that AJ's so angry that it's caused her to go nuts and unleash her fury on Natalya. I say it was a very good segment because it added something new to this storyline and gave AJ a boost to her character. Though if I had to guess, you're just a Natalya fan who's mad because she didn't come out on top. |
