Phoenix Wright vs. Ghost Rider and Phoenix Wright vs. Hulk were my favorites.

Some notes about the game:
- CPU opponents now wear random costumes - With no events and shadow battles, some titles most now be achieve by wearing certain costumes at the right time (example: Win 3 matches while dressed up as someone else) - Some endings were cut waaaay short. Where they had multiple lines of dialouge, a few were cut to about 4 lines, like Ammy or Hulk. Ryu has a new ending altogether.
Overall, the game is alright. Definitely what the original should've been. Now just gotta wait for Heroes and Heralds Mode to be released.

The rundown for the game's alternate costume DLC. There will be 48 total alt costumes for purchase, with the first pack, the Rising Dead, which has alt costumes for Phoenix, Ghost Rider, Nemesis, and Frank West, goes on sale next week for $4. Each of the packs will cost $4 and starting March 6th next year, you can instead buy all of the costumes in one $20 value pack. www.gamespot.com/special_feature/marvelcapcom-final/image-feature/index.html?image=1Here are all of the alt costumes for sale: Rising Dead pack- Mega Man suit Frank West - 2099 Ghost Rider - Battle damaged Nemesis(seriously) - Jean Grey outfit for Phoenix Evil Twin pack- "Cable-Pool"(Deadpool cosplaying as Cable) - Mei-Ling(Hsien-Ko's twin sister) - Ben Reilly's classic Spider-Man outfit - Corrupted Vergil Ancient Warrior pack- Undead Arthur - Red Arremer King Firebrand - World War Hulk, aka Green Scar - House of M Magneto Brawler pack- Final Fight 3 Mike Haggar - Ultimate Iron Fist - Jennifer Walters lawyer suit - Bionic Commando: Rearmed Rad Spencer Femme Fatale pack- Street Fighter Alpha Chun-Li - "Business casual" Morrigan - '80s Storm(ie, her....um....questionable mohawk and leather design) - X-Men: Evolution X-23 Villain pack- An original "superspy" outfit for C. Viper(it looks garish....) - NextWave "Elvis" MODOK - Annihilation Super-Skrull - S.T.A.R.S./RE1 Wesker New Age of Heroes pack- Cyber Akuma - Doomwar Doctor Doom - Classic Sentinel - Scarf-less Strider Animal pack- Talbain Amateratsu - Yellow Iris Felicia - 1985 Rocket Raccoon mini-series outfit - Weapon X Wolverine(or more specifically, Wolverine just after he got his Adamantium infused to his bones) Weapon Expert pack- Ronin outfit for Hawkeye - UDON Taskmaster - Gloria(from DMC4) outfit for Trish - Mega Man X(for Zero) Viewtiful Strange pack- Dread Dorammu - Dr. Strange #177 Doctor Strange - Brand new Nova outfit - College years Phoenix Wright(yes, that college years Phoenix Wright, pink sweater and all) - Tron Bonne in a ServBot themed robot - Joe(Viewtiful Joe's civilian clothes) Costume pack- SHIELD Director Steve Rogers - S.T.A.R.S./RE1 Chris Redfield - Sparda(Dante's dad) - Iron Patriot - Street Fighter(as in the first game) Ryu - Classic Thor - RE3 Jill Valentine - Quoggoth(Shuma-Gorath's protege) Overall, the majority of the costumes are pretty damn great. Some are just lazy, though(I mean really, battle damaged Nemesis? Come on man.....). Also a little irked how Capcom is basically mocking/taunting Mega Man fans by making two of the alt costumes Mega Man suits.....

Note : "Scarfless" Hiryu is Classic Hiryu from his original arcade game. They gave it to him in MvC 1 to make him look more "Ninja"-esque, and he kept it in Strider Hiryu 2.

Yeah forgot to make note of that. Also, I've come back around to the game. I let myself cool down over the last few months, and I'll eventually get it, just not right now(lack of money and time to play it). These upgrade editions are to be expected from fighting games, and really, has Capcom ever released a bad upgrade edition? Really the only reason I got mad in the first place was them releasing it so damn quickly. If they had said it was coming in 2012 when they first announced it, I wouldn't have blew up. So yeah, back to wanting this game. Still mad at Capcom for their burial of Mega Man, though.

I get that MT Framework is the "Resident Evil" engine and all, but Nemesis? Ugh. That's really a spot that should have went to Alex, Captain Commando (despite Viper's surface similarity with the burning kick), or Bison. On the Marvel side, I'm enjoying the hell out of Rocket (especially in his Color 2, which makes him grey), but it's fairly obvious that he was chosen just so Capcom could make Resident Evil ("Raccoon City") jokes about him... Of course, the irony about all of this is that I'm maining Chris.

Does the costume pack from the original MvC3 (I think there was only 1) work with the Ultimate version?

Oh god the Resident Evil wank fest(and this is coming from one of the biggest RE fans you'll find, so you'd expect me to be happy about this wank fest ). I agree, too many RE characters. Wesker and Chris make sense, Jill, well also kind of makes sense as she had a somewhat important role in RE5 and she's a legacy character in the MvC series, but Nemesis? That's where I draw the line. Also, I'm kind of surprised they went with the Mega Man suit for Frank West's alt costume. I thought they'd make his alt costume Chuck Greene......

He doesn't have a Chuck costume, BUT his 5th Color Scheme is Chuck's color scheme. Yellow jacket, blonde hair. Similarly, Ryu has a Ken color scheme.

It seems like certain games would set them up with unique moves the other wouldn't sniff (like Ryu's Joudan Sokuto Geri from SF3, or Ken's Ryusenkyaku from Capcom vs. SNK). Or Street Fighter EX 2 Plus, where Ken has a traditional Hurricane Kick that goes forward, whereas Ryu has the infuriating EX Style Hurricane Kick which arcs, and each kick has to be entered seperately.

I have no idea if this has been posted, but this is a phenomenal cinematic for the game .... Watch in full screen
Plus it features a true giant god like Shuma-Gorath and is just epic.

Admittedly, while I didn't really care for the original version of the game much I am interested by the mere idea of Phoenix's sweater.
