As much as I like Kurt Angle the guy is a true nutjob.
And I'm starting to think while he may have gotten over his pill addiction he forgot to kick his alcohol addiction.
He's gotta stop doing stupid shit like this.

He's gotta stop doing stupid s*** like this. Yeah this pretty much sums it up for me too. I also wish he would surround himself with better people.

We shouldn't be worrying about Kurt Angle until he starts eating grapes and trying to do Jedi mind tricks on Cracker Barrel managers to get free food...and hanging out with Shannon Moore. Actually, of all the OMEGA crew, Shannon Moore seems to be the only reasonably stable one. How sad is that?

What about Joey Matthews? I'll be completely honest, I had no idea he was connected with the OMEGA bunch. Fair enough, we have a new winner.

That might be a tough one, I'm wondering if he was charged due to a prior arrest, and that even a little bit of alcohol is a warning sign. That's my guess.

I didn't realize that Steve Corino went through OMEGA...same goes for Lita.
I thought he met her when they were in WWF/E?
That Highspots produced dvd on OMEGA is a very good watch. I found in in a Moviestop for a few bucks so I got it.

That's a little misleading. Rajah.com had a more indepth news story on it, including direct quotes from Angle. Angle never said that he was driving erratically, he said the opposite. However he did say that he was in an unfamiliar place looking for an exit to his hotel, so that sounds like he's basically saying "that may be why someone thought I was driving erratically". Honestly, this is sounding more and more like a case where Angle is telling the truth. The cop pulled him over after getting a call from another driver, probably smelled beer or something, and knew who he was. The cop made a judgment call (whether he thought he was doing the right thing or just wanted to make news) and arrested Kurt. Cops aren't always right. I've been charged with DUI before when I was absolutely not under the influence of anything and was not even given a field sobriety test. It's just that in this case, Angle had obviously had at least one drink, and with his history (along with the recent Matt Hardy, Daffney, and Shane Helms stories) it's kind of easy to assume that he was driving drunk. The main thing that is throwing me off though is that Angle claims that he was leaving a TNA show and trying to find his hotel in an unfamiliar place. If that's the case then why did he have a BAC of .06? When did he drink anything? WHY did he drink anything? The only thing that makes sense to me (if his version of events is the truth) is that he drank a cold beer or two after his match and then got in his car shortly after. Not exactly the best decision, but certainly more understandable than driving a vehicle totally smashed. I can only assume that the possibility of him driving under the influence of other substances was ruled out with the blood test that he was given.

Ya know...for someone supposedly training for the Olympics....beer sounds like a poor choice of beverage.
Just saying.

I'll be glad to admit I'm wrong if in fact he wasn't drunk. I still think he's a nutcase though.

Yeah, good for Kurt.
He's still nuts.

I remember Nash mentioning in an interview a year or two ago while he was in TNA that he and Angle and a few others would always sit down and have a beer or two in the locker room after their matches. He said something like (paraphrasing), "Nothing is better than an cold beer right after you get done working."
