If I were her I'd sue him for slender. Sorry, but that's funny. Also funny is the women coming out here to hate. I'm not even a fan of hers and I now want to root for her. Not saying you can't hate a person (though hate is a strong word) just an observation. ... why are the females disliking Kelly Kelly so funny? If anything, we probably have more of a reason to dislike her, since she's the one being used to seemingly showcase the idea that females rubbing their behinds in each others' faces and licking their hands before delivering a single weak spank, screaming wildly, and performing the same match over and over with botches abounding, all with the same dispassionate expression, are as good as- even superior to- females who actually, y'know, wrestle, and wrestle well.

I've never seen so many female posters in one thread hating on someone, that's all. Not saying you aren't entitled to, by all means. But there's been so much hate (by most people here mind you) that she's now become the underdog in my eyes (my opinion only). She could become the new Misawa (and she won't) and people here would still hate on her or make sink jokes. She can't win.

I hate to agree but something's off with her in a bad way. Not necessarily a psycho but....maybe psycological issue. agreed

I just thought it was weird that you specifically called out females. If Kelly suddenly, magically turned into some kind of crazy kick-ass wrestler, I'd be able to like her. I really don't care about her personal life- she can pee in all the sinks she wants; it doesn't affect my life, haha!

I don't see her as the underdog, Kash, but I do agree that there is a lot of hate for her. To me, though, it comes back to an old addage. Don't take pictures don't write anything down, and think before you speak always. Sink jokes are a bit old, but the fact is, the woman allowed a picture to be taken and posted on the interwebs of her pissing in a sink (presumably). Yeah she's young, and young people do dumb s*** often because they don't consider the ramifications. Unfortunately, once it's out there, it's out there forever. The jokes are just a manifestation of the "why the hell would you DO that?" reaction that people had upon seeing the pics. As to the Rafiki stuff, could it be the interviewer messing with her, sure it could. It's 9 shades of unprofessional and hack tactics at best, but it's by no means uncommon, sad as that may be. To me, though, it speaks to a pattern. She has said in interviews that people don't want to see women wrestle, yet we have here men and women who are screaming for just that. She now is putting over what is, and always was, a comedy spot, as "one of the best moves that I do". The fact that it's no longer a "listen to Lawler guffaw" move that is treated as the joke that it always was again speaks to presentation. Also, "my boss taught me how to strip"...it could be bad prhasing, and God I hope it is. However, if the head of a company is going over presentation with the face of a certain division within the company, the idea that stripping came up...well it's creepy not to mention gives us some psychological clues on both ends. "Smart, sexy, powerful", that's the tag line and the (presumably) desired image for the women that are employed by WWE. They are, or at least should be, mindful of a growing female demographic. Realizing that, is a woman doing the stinkface/ass slap routine and being presented as "top of the heep" really a spectacular image to utilize? Is her insistance that "they want to see hair pulling and rolling around" in any way relevant to either the "this is wrestling" crowd or to the "we're family friendly" crowd? I would argue that it actually manages to offend both groups of thought, which is pretty spectacular actually. Look, K2 HAS improved somewhat, she is entitled to have a career and earn a living. Hell, I'm sure she tries as hard as she can when she's out there, and can only do what she's told to do if she values the whole being employed thing, but I think it's more a case of wrong person for the role and the role itself is just convoluted and bizzarre in its execution on all sides.

I'm willing to admit that if I saw her do something well I'd give her her due. Right now though, I just don't think she's a good wrestler and I'm also kind of baffled why she gets the crowd reactions she does. That's why I don't like her.

I would love for Kelly to become really good in the ring and on the mic. I mean, wouldn't everyone? If people are going to be on my TV I want them to be worth watching.
But...she just isn't good.
I can overlook a wrestlers real life personality if they're talented. Frankly, Kelly always seems like a nice enough girl.

The old "She's said in interviews' thing needs to have some quotes to back up. So she does a stinkface and says its her 'best' move? So what? She's not the first person to do it as a signature. Hell, with all the joking, its WAS Rikishi's signature move. The 'image' argument is stupid. She's a female wrestler, one that is relatively popular. Thats all. To take the generic tagline for all divas and act like that means she has to be the one and only representation of women in WWE is by far the dumbest thing that seems to be repeated concernng her. She's not even usually the most pushed one of the bunch.

Bavo, here ladies and gentlemen is the crux of the problem with the current incarnation of the Divas Division summed up perfectly. The actual face of the Divison isn't a Wonder Woman, a Xena, a Batgirl, or an agent Scully type character (who appeals equally to both genders) but rather K2. Um yeah right, way too alienate an entire demographic there Vince.

I may be wrong but her 3 PPV matches with Beth have kinda been the best divas matches all year. I mean, yeah its Beth, but its not like she's done anything better than those 3 matches this year either. To act like she's on a level lower than the others doesn't really make sense. I mean the other faces who'd be in her spot are Eve and Alicia, and I don't see them doing much different.

I dunno, I actually thought Alicia with her "cheat to win" character was developing into an interesting heel during her first title run. Then the E just totally dropped the storyline for some reason.

Eve/Phoenix, I think, was a great back and forth (hell, the crowd felt the same; they started off silent, but as it went on, they started to react), and Layla/McCool was a great match, if only for the fact that it had a fairly significant back story, something very blatantly missing from many Divas matches today.

They concede there are some bright points, but overall hate the current direction of the Division. That is what I was pointing out.

They only seemed good in comparison to the craptastic matches she was having with the Bellas before. The thing is, if given the chance, Beth could have a better match with any other diva on the roster that isn't named Rosa Mendes. Hell, I thought Beth's recent match with Eve was much better than any of he matches with K2.
