Just release the guy so he can go back to being awesome in Japan.I liked his work myself but its clear the gimmick has failed. One of the reasons he can back to WWE was he wanted to be back in the States instead of Japan due to the birth of his child. Don't blame him for that.

Should have him wrestle as Giant Bernard character-wise and not change anything about him.
No new gimmick or any of that crap...........have him be the same SOB he was when he left and just say that he went to Japan to hone his skills and now he's back in WWE.

Well. No s***. Maybe they now realize bringing him back under something other than what fans remember him for was just plain stupid. what? that is just bad logic.

Tensai is officially ruined. May that meme rest in peace. Yeah. Poor Albert.

How about they repackage him as a guy who can actually wrestle quicker than two snails f******? That'd be a good start.

I see no problem with Tensai going over to Superstars while he's repackaged. He can still come back later and have a successful run on Raw. Take Brodus for instance. He wasn't getting over at all as Del Rio's bodyguard, but a few months on Superstars and a new look, and now the Funkasaurus is one of the most over midcarders on the roster. The WWE just needs to find out what works best for Tensai.

I don't get why he wasn't just Giant Bernard but just saying he's back from Japan and improved. The gimmick was a dumb idea from the offset even with the achnoledgement.

This would have worked if it was not Albert. There's 2 kinds of people who watch WWE, kids, and the 18-24 year olds. The younger fans really don't care for him and the older fans see Albert. It's not a bad gimmick, just the wrong person to give it to.

Pretty much. They broke the KISS rule(man, that's coming up for me a LOT today). What's the KISS Rule? That Dale Torborg should not be allowed to perform in front of an audience larger than the actual number of members in the band KISS. It's a good rule, but I'm not sure how it applies to this particular situation.

Is anyone really surprised that this dumb gimmick has flopped.
Like I said before they should of just had him return as the A train in the first place.

It's not hard to get that guy over, the WWE has all the tools.
Have him come out and say he's done with this stupid crap, that's now him and then say he's "Albert" and start wrecking people with his power big man style and he'll be over. People will chant his name, he'll be a monster, have him talk crap to his opponent, just whatever. It's not that hard. Vince I know you had this idea but it's not going to cut it.

Just call him A-Train again and be done with it. Just call him a train and send his ass back to Japan and be done with him.

I actually think they should have stuck with it for a while longer. Or, at the very least, not have hotshotted him into matches against big opponents right away. Even more, I wouldn't have put his first few squash opponents as thick, well-built guys like R-Truth and Alex Riley.
Remember, Umaga came out to crickets in his first few weeks. And what started to turn the tide?
He was beating up pencil-thin bump machines in his squashes, wowing people with his moveset by using it on people who knew how to bump for big moves and basically play ragdoll. By the time Umaga started facing the HHHs, HBKs, and John Cenas of the world, we knew this was a guy with a dangerous, varied moveset, and was undefeated and perhaps even unbeatable.
I'm not saying Tensai would have gotten over huge, but if you stick with a guy just killing everyone in his path for long enough, he starts to gain heat, and people start to wonder who will be able to stop this man. Of course, he goes back to just being a generic hoss after he loses his first big match, but that's still more than they're getting out of him right now. And who knows? He could still mean something down the line. Umaga was still awesome even after his first loss, and was well on track to being among the finest big men of the past decade.
That said, there was absolutely no way on Earth he was going to be ready in time for a summer feud with Cena. At least not with that gimmick. If they'd just debuted him as a big, give-no-shit/take-no-shit bouncer with a mouthpiece (say, Abraham Washington) who just goes around killing everything in his sight, even interrupting matches just to destroy guys, THEN maybe they'd get behind a Tensai-Cena feud.
But that gimmick was straight out of 1995. Nobody wanted to see it, much less the plodding, boring style that the gimmick seemed to require him to work.

The thing is, they HAD to hotshot Tensai if they wanted to get their money's worth out of him. He's not a long-term prospect; he's nearly 40. He got rehired because he was a big guy who they thought was good enough that he could be inserted into feuds at the top of the card immediately, and credibly work with and put over the main event faces.

You know what the problem is? He got his hands on Cena already.
Seriously!
Imagine if he'd just beat jobbers, maybe even some local jobbers, but did so in a very straight forward way, nothing inherently evil about him.
Then at Over The Limit, he drags Laurenaitis out from the back. Oh man, he's a good guy! He's gonna help Cena!
Then, as Cena goes for the AA, he gets misted and Tensai puts him down.
Then he goes away again before Cena can get his hands on him, and the plan is put in motion to lock the two in a steel cage at No Way Out so Cena can get his revenge.
SEE. IT'S THAT EASY.
