WHY TOP WWE DIVA DISAPPEARED AND WHY SOME DON'T THINK SHE'S RETURNING

Former WWE Divas champion Kelly Kelly has been granted "time off" by the company, according to a number of sources within WWE. One source noted that Kelly had been on the road full time since 2006 and needed the time off to recharge her batteries.
"She's been here since she was a kid, " said one WWE source. "She had been pushing for time away to spend with her family and her boyfriend. Six years for someone of her age is a lifetime. She needed a break."
With that said, the word among a number of talents within the company is that they don't believe she's returning anytime soon, if at all as she has started to get her given name of Barbi Blank back out into the public eye and is currently accepting endorsements and appearances outside of WWE auspices. That information was added to her Twitter account within the last few days.
Kelly's last televised appearance for the company was the 5/21 Raw. She last wrestled on 5/26 during the Ecuador tour.
So, time will tell.

Also funny that the headline implies she's disappeared, but the story adds she's only been gone for about two weeks.

I will say, the part about her being in the company for so long is a good point. Didn't she sign when she was 19 or so? That's a weird age period to be constantly on the road all the time. I could see how she'd want a break.

Kelly is a lovely girl who never should have been pushed as a wrestler. She's young enough to pursue other interests outside of wrestling, so she probably should.
If she does in fact leave, it only furthers the belief that WWE is phasing out the Divas division. It might not be the worst thing to hit the reset button, at least until AJ is over enough and the FCW girls are ready.

Good. Speaking from the point of view of a fan long frustrated with a stale Divas division, she can f*** off my TV screen. Im glad she is getting a much needed break, but if I never see her on Raw again, Ill be happy.

If she IS leaving/ has left, it'll hurt the divas chances of getting used even more. Out of the 14 or 15 divas they have, only 7 of them have televised matches. Plus AJ and Eve are in mostly non-wrestling roles right now, so that leaves them with 5 divas to work with.
Can't say I'll miss her at all though.

She does deserve a break.
If she does leave I'll kind of miss her, I thought she was good as an underdog and a way for a heel to get heat, plus she's hot. It could hurt the division, since she is the most over Diva.
