I'd read that LINCOLN was expected to make $11mil.
Doing $10mil more than that is very nice.

got off work early on Friday so i decided to go see the 3:00 pm showing of Lincoln. get to the theater expecting to see a huge crowd lined up to see Twilight (which was showing on four screens). its completely dead outside. buy my ticket and go inside, not worrying about getting a seat because its 3:00 pm and the people that'd go to see Lincoln are at work right now. the theater is completely packed. get out around 6:00 pm and expecting to see the lobby completely packed with teenage girls going to see Twilight. just a few more people than a ghost town. went to the movies again today to see Argo. still no crowd to see Twilight. don't know where the $141 million came from, but it wasn't from here

So now we enter the calm before the mid-to-late December storm of awesome that involves things like The Hobbit and Django Unchained.

The big loser this week has to be The Guilt Trip With Seth Rogan and Barbara Streisland.
However, Seth Rogan has This is the End coming up so all is not lost yet.

So it looks like Skyfall will have a better domestic gross than Twilight: Breaking Dawn: Sparkle Sparkle 2: All This Happened 2. ![](http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tjLAAN1ZYjg/UKmgQsdz6uI/AAAAAAAABAc/_-HykxLj0rA/s1600/Thank-you-Jesus.jpg)

1.) The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey - $32.9M 2.) Django Unchained - $30.7M ($64M since Xmas) 3.) Les Miserables - $28M ($67.4M since Xmas) 4.) Parental Guidance - $14.8M ($29.6M since Xmas) 5.) Jack Reacher - $14.6M
Also, in huge news. Skyfall cracked the one billion dollar mark yesterday. The first Bond film to do so. Awesome.

Anyone else see Gangster Squad? I went to the last showing Friday night and there were about 15-20 people in the small theater. A little surprised to see it in 3rd though.

Does this make Hansel and Gretel a quasi bomb too? 54 mil worldwide on a 50 mil budget, not exactly a hit.
