WWE DIVA QUITS COMPANY by Mike Johnson @ 5:55 PM on 6/28/2012
Maxine, who's been seen mostly on WWE NXT and a few Raw appearances, including Monday's Battle Royal, has quit the company and is gone, according to WWE sources.
The word making the rounds is that she had been frustrated with a number of things, including not being offered a guaranteed deal and not having the chance to prove herself on TV beyond the WWE NXT level.
Maxine, real name Karlee Perez, signed a WWE developmental deal in 2009. After wrestling for Florida Championship Wrestling, she was brought up to NXT for the all Divas third season. She returned to NXT as part of the retribution season four and became involved in a triangle with Derek Bateman and Johnny Curtis.

Pity. She was a good personality, and had some potential in the ring.

How many divas are even left on the roster, anyway?

Dammit. I really liked her work, too.

Was she the random brunette in the background of a ton of Diva's segments? Meh, sunrise, sunset, 90% of the Divas are disposable anyways.

A shame. I understand her frustration, she could've been a good manager/valet but they seemed to have no interest in using her.

Dammit. She was hot and she could wrestle. But at least her quitting means less people being fired down the line.

Meh. She was a decent talker, though I don't think she was as good as some said, but I couldn't stand her in the ring. It seemed like she used holds exclusively with no actual moves.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo! She was looking so hot on Monday. I'm pretty heartbroken.
Aside from that, she was a terrific character on NXT, and her storyline with Bateman and Curtis was the best thing going on WWE TV. I hope she reconsiders.

Maxine had some really good potential, and was one of the better characters amongst the Divas. Hopefully we'll see her on the indies soon, or maybe TNA will do something with her.

Somebody who hadn't done a hell of a lot in the business to earn it certainly thinks awfully highly of herself. I'm pretty sure most of the upper crust people don't get guaranteed deals, let alone a 3rd string diva. Or has the policy changed since I've been paying attention?

I have no idea what she was like in any way shape or form. I vaguely know what she looks like. I suppose that validates her reason for leaving though.

The repercussions of Big Show Iron Clad Contract. Everybody wants one.
