Well I'm sure even D grade tomato cans would have no trouble beating the likes of Kozina because I can't help but think of him as the indy wrestling equivalent of douchebags who think that taking a few jiu jitsu classes and wearing some stupid looking tap out shirt makes them badasses. And the prognosis for Davey is even more grim. He's billed at 207, which, with some cuts, would make him a VERY undersized light heavyweight, or a middleweight, and either way, those are two very competitive weight classes. I'm sure he would even be undersized at middleweight as well.

This is about as bad as THAT IWA Mid South match. Speaking of IWA MS....since Davey just work a show for them a while, I can see him still getting book by them since Ian is just as big as a douchebag as Davey is.

I forgot the reasoning behind it (was it Mass Transit like where the guy had no business in the ring?), but suffice to say it was brutal.

I don't know much about IWA-MS, so I can only guess it was that. It was that story where Mickie was in a tournament I think, and the guy she was supposed to face no showed, so they got this other guy who hadn't been trained properly to work her. Something happened and she ended up a huge welt on her head, and this was a problem because she'd just been signed to TNA at the time. So Ian Rotten made an example out of the guy because of it and had him legit beat down.

And some of the attackers were Drew Blood and Devon Moore. If I remember correctly

Mickie thought he was stiffing her a few times so she gave him a pretty brutal beating. After the match it was Moore and Some other guy that came out and really destroyed him. The main problem started then after Levy was refusing to sell and Rotten came out and started berating him over the mic while everyone kept beating Levy up, including Rottens own son.

Would you expect anything different from a Jiu Jitsu Jackoff?
Something happened after that Magnum Pro show with Team Ambition. They performed with no problems one day and the next two they go on a douche spree. For all the talk of how bad that Kozina-Kidd match is, I seen worst in pro wrestling. Luna Vachon and Amy Lee vs the Diva Killaz was more brutal. Also why would the promoter let an inexperienced rookie wrestle against someone who backstage said he's going to go off script?

Garbage like this is why wrestling is still considered carny s*** and given the support these guys are getting from other wrestlers, it seems like it always will be. Kozina, especially, comes off as a scumbag. If I assaulted a 16 year old kid and then robbed a guy I'd be in jail. They have their coworkers supporting them. Disgusting.

y'ever notice how the only guys who puff their chests about "protecting the business" are always a bunch of has-beens/never-was who just got caught shooting on someone who didn't deserve it? y'know what REALLLY doesn't "protect the business"? beating up on someone half your size who wasn't expecting it and not co-operating, thus making everything in the match look incredibly fake.

The ONLY problem I have with that is that, with Silva's striking mastery, it would be over way too quickly.

The kid isn't that inexperienced. He has had a lot of good matches and has been wrestling since about 14. The promoter had no idea that Kozina was going to shoot on him like that. The first show that was on Friday was for a pretty big promotion in Iowa called 3XWrestling. I'm sure Team Ambition showed a bit more respect there because a bunch of the veterans from down here in Kansas City were up there for that one. The second two on Saturday and Sunday were for Magnum Pro and APW which are two much smaller groups. According to Jaysin Strife who has been wrestling in the Iowa and Kansas City area for years Team Ambition was criticizing and making fun of Magnum pro matches all night and being totally disrespectful.

Ya, that match (which I've seen on the internet somewhere, though I couldn't find it on youtube just now) kind of aged me in a way. It was just so pathetic, I finally saw garbage wrestling for what it is. Not that I was a fan of it before, but that kind of opened my eyes about the kinds of people who are involved in this stuff. And this Richards incident is kind of the same, from a different angle. Wrestling is a dirty business filled with low-lifes. Ya, we always kind of KNEW that (though maybe we're in denial about it), but when you see examples of it, it's still kind of disappointing. Why do I follow this crap?

The E should offer all of these douchebags "tryout matches" vs. Brock Lesnar and/or the APA.
