Wasn't there an "official" forum for FAN members playing EWR, diaries, etc.? If so, does anyone have a link? I just started a game with NWA Hollywood and have actually started keeping a diary for it. ewrwc.proboards.com/index.cgiThere you go. EDIT: Damn it, got beaten to it.

I picked up my WWE game after about a month or so of not playing and am kinda having trouble getting back into it. Most of my planned feuds are over and I'm trying to figure out what I should be building up to for Wrestlemania (I'm currently at October). So I decided I would just write up every storyline I have going on in my game right now to see if I can think up something new from it. It might be a long write-up so feel free to ignore but feedback is appreciated.
Raw Storylines
CM Punk vs The Miz - Just started this feud for the WWE title, considering they're both one of my top faces and heels. CM Punk is coming off of winning a totally one-sided feud against Alberto Del Rio while The Miz is coming off failing to take control of the WWE from Triple H. The current plan is to have Punk drop the title to Miz and work on regaining it at Wrestlemania (if I can keep the feud going that long). It just started and though I have them booked for the Hell In The Cell PPV, I think it's too soon for Miz to win the belt. I don't even have the match itself planned to be in the Cell since the feud is just beginning. Other than that, I do have a Team Punk vs Team Miz match planned for Survivor Series so maybe I'll have Punk drop the title at the December PPV.
John Cena vs Alberto Del Rio - My next top feud on Raw, mostly by default. Cena hasn't been doing much of anything in my game besides teaming with Sheamus (who also hasn't done much of anything else) so a feud with Del Rio should help keep them both in the spotlight. By both, I mean Cena and Del Rio, not Cena and Sheamus. I still don't know what I'm doing with Sheamus. Recently, I had him teaming with Ricardo Rodriguez, who has turned face and broken away from being Del Rio's lackey, but I'm still booking Ricardo as not much of an asset in the ring, so that'll probably go nowhere.
The Show Offs - Originally this stable started with Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, Jack Swagger and Vickie Guerrero. Drew McIntyre was in it for a brief moment to help him with a face turn. Now, it also includes David Otunga and John Lauriniatis, leftovers from The Miz's "Anti-HHH" stable, and Vickie's daughter Raquel. I had Dolph and Kofi drop the tag titles after a decent reign in an effort to get them in different types of matches. But right now, the only stories I have going with the Show Offs is a love triangle storyline between Dolph, Vickie and Raquel, and a small program concerning Swagger and his tendency to job, leaving his spot in the stable at constant risk. I had hoped this would at least elevate Dolph, and possibly Kofi, to Main Event status but I recently had Dolph booked in a WWE title match against Punk where Punk had proclaimed Dolph was "not ready". :-(
Drew McIntyre, US Champion - After getting kicked out of the Show Offs and turning face, Drew ended up taking the US title from Swagger and keeping it from him. Right now, I have a tentative program set for Nick Rogers (aka No Belly-Button Man from FCW, a heel with a Prima Donna gimmick) but not quite sure where to go from there. Rogers came out of Development with a 90 in Charisma but isn't getting over as quickly as I thought he would.
Kane and Mark Henry - Even though I kinda threw them together as a team when they both joined The Miz's "Anti-HHH" stable, I've decided to keep their team going, mostly because I don't know what else to do with them aside from matches with Sheamus. The question is whether or not to give them the WWE Tag Titles. Currently, Sami Callihan and Dean Ambrose are the champs and despite the teams mostly being on opposite shows and both being heels, they've had a program to find out which team is the most dangerous, twisted, demented, violent, etc. I have plans for Sami and Dean, not necessarily involving the tag belts, but I'm afraid if I drop them to Kane and Mark Henry, they'll just kinda sit there.
Divas - The division on the Raw side looks stacked on paper but I'm kinda iffy on using them. I mostly focus on Layla and Kharma, who I originally had as a team but I'm starting to break Kharma out on her own as a monster Tweener. Beth Phoenix and Sofia Cortez team up sometimes but are the only real heel Divas on Raw. I have Eve but barely use her. I also don't use Naomi as much as I'd like since I mostly have her as Brodus' dance buddy. I still have one Bella under contract and waiting for it to run out like I did with the other Bella. After a few atrocious matches, I let go of Audrey Marie and am thinking about swapping a yet-to-debut Tenille in her spot as Raw's resident plucky newcomer Diva jobber.
Everyone Else - I got a pretty decent assortment of Midcard faces going, including Zack Ryder, Ricardo, Xavier Woods and Matt Cross, as well as face tag teams such as Evan Bourne and Justin Gabriel and The Power of Funk (Mason Ryan and Brodus Clay, who work surprisingly well together).
So there's my Raw for ya. I'll do write-ups of the other shows (NXT and Smackdown) soon, but in the meantime...what the hell do I do with Sheamus?

NXT Storylines
RUN NXT v2.0 - I had my idea of a "New Nation" consisting of JTG, Darren Young, Titus O'Neil and Ezekiel Jackson wanting to take over NXT, but it didn't exactly pan out. In fact, it kinda ended up as a joke. So I broke up the group. Zeke returned to Smackdown, Titus went to rehab and likely won't be brought back when his contract runs out, Darren isn't doing much of anything and JTG was "fired" by NXT GM Matt Striker. However, JTG returned with lawyer Clarence Mason in tow, suing Striker due to "racial discrimination". Soon after, JTG was backed up by Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks, who claim to have been held back and never given a chance to be promoted to Raw or Smackdown. Currently, Striker is trying to assemble the best team of NXT's top faces to take JTG's new crew down.
The NXT Title - I'm trying to push Johnny Curtis as NXT's top face but it isn't going as well as I'd hoped. Curtis would be NXT's first champion after winning a tournament but would later drop the belt to Heath Slater, after the One Man Rock Band got help from his new "bodyguard" Conor O'Brian. Curtis usually finds himself in a 2-on-1 situation against the two. Between trying to get the NXT title back and helping get rid of RUN NXT, does Curtis have too much on his plate?
Another Love Triangle - While NXT has plenty of newcomers, Archie Evans (aka Archibald Peck/RD Evans) has stood out for his gangly physique and nerdy look. Also, he had people talking right out of the gate when he decided to ask out Kelly Kelly to "go steady". Kelly declined, which brought out a bit of a mean streak in Archie. Not only that but a woman claiming to be Archie's ex-girlfriend and her sister, Nicole and Polly (aka Portia Perez) Matthews, debuted and immediately set their sights on Kelly. However, Archie refuses to comment on the situation and was recently seen trying to get some relationship advice from NXT's "intellectual superior" Damien Sandow.
Everyone Else - I don't have a lot of other storylines going on in NXT other than a bunch of newcomers trying to prove themselves. Here are the notables: Leo Kruger - Definitely the most cocky NXT superstar. At first, Kruger aligned himself with Damien Sandow in a brief tag team but the two egos could not co-exist and they split after a brief series of matches.
Briley Ziggler - Dolph's plucky younger brother has a tendency of overcoming the odds and winning matches from out of nowhere.
Corey Graves - A morbid young man who "embraces the darkness" and seemingly hates life still happens to get plenty of wins under his belts, almost always by cheating.
Alex Riley and Percy Watson - This duo decided to become a regular tag-team due to their athletic backgrounds and fun-loving demeanor. Their successes have been on or off, sometimes losing matches in the middle of what looks to be a winning streak. But now that they're included in Striker's crew to take down RUN NXT, their luck may change.
Jake Carter and Michael McGillicutty - Jake recently won an NXT contract by defeating Calvin Raines and Alexander Rusev in a triple threat (I haven't decided whether to keep Calvin or Alexander since they have pretty decent stats) and has gotten the attention of Michael McGillicutty, who has nothing better to do now that his former stablemates have moved onto either Raw or Smackdown.
Rick Victor - A hoss who was racking up an undefeated streak until he was recently beaten by Jake Carter (with a 95% Match Quality, no less).

So, for those people who think the TEW games are a little too deep, how can it be worse than starting an EWR game with the current WWE roster? Youch, you have to fire like 100 people and it costs probably $40M to do so.

You can turn storylines off, turn strict advance booking off and most of my road agent notes in game are 3 notes only. EWR is way too unrealistic for me and not knowing what my competition is doing always annoyed me as well.

It'd take me 4 hours to fire everyone I need to fire to even start, and if I didn't give myself more money, it'd bankrupt me.

I've never really played TEW that much, but I just started a TNA game with a December 2009 Data pack. Here was my first PPV:
1. Homicide defeated Frankie Kazarian in 10:50 by pinfall after using a foreign object. -> Ric Flair comes out to the podium, along with Desmond Wolfe. Ric Flair hypes his client as the second coming of pestilence. 2. Alissa Flash defeated Sarita in 8:55 by pinfall, illegally using the ropes for leverage. -> Motor City Machine Guns attack Team 3D backstage, and leave them down and out. 3. Robert Roode defeated Doug Williams in 11:08 by pinfall with a Payoff. -> The announcers put over the fact that we'll be seeing Homicide take on Jay Lethal. 4. Jay Lethal defeated Homicide in 12:39 by pinfall due to interference from Frankie Kazarian. Jay Lethal makes defence number 1 of his TNA X-Division title. -> Homicide is chasing Frankie Kazarian backstage! But we have to cut to other action first. 5. Motor City Machine Guns defeated Team 3D in 12:40 when Alex Shelley defeated Brother Ray by pinfall by using underhanded tactics. -> Mick Foley hypes the upcoming match between Bobby Lashley and D'Angelo Dinero from the comfort of his announcers table. 6. Bobby Lashley defeated D'Angelo Dinero in 11:34 by pinfall with a Spear. -> Motor City Machine Guns have an interview in which they taunt Team 3D. 7. Sting defeated Samoa Joe in 9:34 by submission with a Scorpion Death Lock. -> Samoa Joe attacks Sting in the ring, and leaves him down and out. 8. Desmond Wolfe defeated Christopher Daniels in 16:46 by pinfall, illegally using the ropes for leverage. Desmond Wolfe makes defence number 1 of his TNA Television title. -> Highlights of the recent bout between AJ Styles and Kurt Angle are played in a video package. 9. AJ Styles defeated Kurt Angle in 25:59 by pinfall with the Styles Clash. AJ Styles makes defence number 2 of his TNA World Heavyweight title.
Homicide/Kaz was to see who would go on to face Lethal later that night. Also, I paired Flair with Wolfe instead of Styles.

Alright, just booked Hell In The Cell but before that...
Smackdown Storylines
King Truth vs Daniel Bryan - My main feud for the World title. It's been pretty straight-forward, except sometimes involving Bryan's girlfriend AJ. For those wondering, Truth won King of the Ring in my game and, much like Booker T, decided he was going to become an actual king, even going so far as to rename Lil' Jimmy to "Prince Jimmy".
Christian's Change of Heart - I recently had Christian turn face to save buddy and current Smackdown GM Mick Foley from an attack by the Street Rat Pack (Sami Callihan and Dean Ambrose). This all began as a sort of role-reversal from the Christian/Randy Orton feud of 2011, this time Christian had cashed in Money In The Bank just days after Randy Orton had won the World title. Foley let it slide but Theodore Long, who was also Smackdown GM at the time, thought Foley was showing favoritism and began showing heelish tendencies (particularly using the Street Rat Pack as hired goons to put Foley out of commission for a period of time) before eventually getting fired. Now that Christian is doing "what's best for business" instead of doing things for himself, he has to prove that his change of heart is genuine. But Randy Orton, who has had to deal with Christian for the past 2 years now, doesn't buy it for a second.
Street Rat Pack - The duo of Sami Callihan and Dean Ambrose, who have held the WWE Tag Team titles for the past few months and also the unofficial hired goons of Theodore Long, who wanted his spot as Smackdown GM back after he was temporarily replaced by Mick Foley. Though mowing down everyone in their path, they have seemingly had problems taking down the team of Kane and Mark Henry, in a cross-brand program to try to determine who is the most intense, meanest, demented, violent, etc, team in the WWE.
Yet Another Love Triangle - Derrick Bateman and Kailtyn had come to Smackdown from NXT and their relationship was going fine until Tyson Kidd started flirting with Kaitlyn. Though Kaitlyn was having none of it, Bateman took offense and focused on Kidd. Meanwhile, Kidd ended up bringing his ex Natalya into the picture, who also wanted nothing to do with Kidd but ended up helping out Bateman from time to time. This time, Kaitlyn got jealous and ended up confiding in her former best friend, the Divas Champion AJ. After finding this out, Bateman warned Kaitlyn not to "do anything stupid" by getting used by AJ but Kaitlyn decided she'd rather have her best friend back.
Cody Rhodes and High Society - In my game, Cody Rhodes never lost the Intercontinental title to the Big Show earlier in the year and currently is mere weeks from breaking the Honky Tonk Man's record of holding the title. To ensure that the IC title has stayed around his waist, he has enlisted the services of "high class" men like himself such as Wade Barrett, Antonio Cesaro and most recently Ezekiel Jackson (ironically who he won the title from way back when). Cody has had plenty of competition gunning for his title, most notably William Regal, but Cody always seemed to squeak out with the belt around his waist. (However, in game this hasn't done any favors to the title's image and it's barely more important than the Divas title).
Santino Marella - Most of my undercard matches have just been exhibitions to show off talent but the only real storyline going through the undercard involves Santino Marella. His team with Yoshi Tatsu had trouble gaining traction and eventually the team broke up when Yoshi turned on Santino. After a series of matches, Santino came up on top but immediately found himself in front of a roadblock in the form of Giant Bernard (who has done about as well in my game as Tensai has in real life after a horrible series of matches with the Big Show that ended in Show's release).
Now, results for Hell In A Cell 2012
-Randy Orton d Sheamus in the pre-show match. I had nothing else for them to do. -None More Black (Seth and Silas Black aka Seth Rollins and Ultramantis Black as brothers) d Dolph Ziggler and Kofi Kingston. I was hoping for an awesome match rating between these two teams but didn't quite get it. The Raw love triangle continues as Vickie and Raquel Guerrero argue over Dolph at ringside, allowing him to get rolled up for an upset victory. -Cody Rhodes d Christian to retain the Intercontinental title. After bragging about his impending record-breaking title reign, Smackdown GM Mick Foley booked him to defend the title at the PPV against Christian. However, Theodore Long returned after being fired from Smackdown weeks ago and cost Christian the match, officially turning heel. -Hall of Hellfire (Kane and Mark Henry) d Street Rat Pack (Sami Callihan and Dean Ambrose) inside Hell In A Cell (ok, just a cage since you can't do tag HIAC matches) to WIN the WWE Tag Team Titles. -Alberto Del Rio d John Cena by cheating and running away. The current story of the feud is that Cena seemingly has the upper-hand in a pure fight but Del Rio ends up getting the wins in official matches. -CM Punk d The Miz via DQ to retain the WWE Championship. The Miz made sure that the title defense wasn't to be contested inside Hell In A Cell, but ironically took the easy way out with a DQ, which would've been completely legal inside the Cell. -King Truth d Daniel Bryan inside Hell In A Cell to retain the World Championship and end the feud. Great match with a 96% Overall rating.
I'll probably have any notable end-of-month news for October 2012 here soon.

Not a lot of major news going into November:
-Dusty Rhodes announced his retirement at the end of the month. I'll probably have him do something with Cody, since it'll be around the same time that he breaks Honky Tonk Man's record.
-I recently let go of Epico due to low morale. Due to a handful of promotions breaking through National status and snatching tons of indy talent with Written contracts, Epico just signed one for Chikara, immediately becoming their second top star behind Eddie Kingston. In related news, I had planned on signing Brodie Lee to a Developmental contract this month but he signed a Written contract with AAA earlier in the month. I don't think I'm going to sign anyone new this month.
-Luckily only had 1 wrestler to promoted from Developmental this month. (Well, two if you count Andy Levine but I'm trying to keep him down there forever because he sucks and I don't want to terminate his contract due to Friendship status with Husky Harris.) Leakee is the newest promotion and I'll probably stick him with The Usos on Smackdown.
-Ended the month on a s***ty episode of NXT, so it'll be the first time I'll have an X in my monthly performance. But I only dropped down to 97% PI so it'll go back up in no time.
-Oh, don't know if I mentioned this but Raven's contract in TNA is ending soon and I sent him an advance offer. He'll be coming to the WWE in two months.
And that's it. Next month may be a doozy as quite a few contracts are going to run out.
