Not a bad game, and really fun in co-op, but lacking in Evil and Residents.

^ Exactly that. It isn't a bad game. It is very much a good game. Just a horrible Resident Evil game. There's nothing remotely survival horror about it.
I'll more than gladly play co-op with you guys. Also, pro tip Friskey for when you play it solo, as soon as you can, buy the stun rod and give it to Sheva and never give her healing items and/or ammo. At best give her your spare weapons. Her AI is soooooooooooo stupid and she'll waste the ammo and healing items. Give her the stun rod and let her go to town.

Also, shame on Sony, yet again they aren't advertising one of their first party titles. LittleBigPlanet Karting comes out this week, and I haven't seen a single ad for it yet. If this bombs, I'm going to smack Sony. Starhawk bombed because they didn't advertise the game(oddly enough with that game, they did advertise the hell out of the beta), and I don't want to see LBPK have a similar fate.

I should be keeping a journal of jankiness in Assassin's Creed 3. It is such a damned mess but it is such an engaging mess.

Now, I have an infinite ammo Desert Eagle & starting pistol, so that game's way too easy.

LittleBigPlanet Karting did not fare well with IGN.

Ah, damn it all to hell. Thanks to Halo 4 coming out, I've been bitten by the damn Halo bug again. See, I have this weird, wallet destroying habit of going back and forth between the PS3 and 360 when they come out with a respective exclusive I really, really want. Case in point, my pattern over the last few years has been in 2009, sold my 360 for a PS3 for Uncharted 2, then in late 2009 ditched the PS3 for a 360 for Halo 3: ODST and Left 4 Dead 2(didn't have a PC good enough to run it at the time), then in early 2010 ditched the 360 for God of War III, then in late 2010 ditched the PS3 for a 360 for Halo: Reach, then in 2011 ditched the 360 for a PS3 for initially PlayStation Plus(of all things) and, well, I've had that PS3 up until now. Yeah, I know, bad habit instantly solved by simply saving up enough money to have both systems at the same time. Now, that aside, I've been trying to weigh the pros and cons of ditching the PS3 to going back to Microsoft's teat. Pros: - I get Halo 4, and considering the 360 I would be buying is the 250GB holiday bundle that comes with a copy of Skyrim(as well as Forza 4), I'll finally stop being dicked over by Bethesda in regards to Skyrim. - I already have a sizable collection of XBLA games bought over the years of having a 360, many of which I haven't even touched yet, as well as digital copies of the first Halo and Fable 2, so I'm already jumping into a sizable library of games to play. - Doing this switch almost completely removes my giant backlog that has been breathing down my neck. Cons: - I'll be losing my decently sized game collection(25 on disc games and over 100 games downloaded onto my PS3, mostly thanks to PS+). - I'd have to start Mass Effect all over from scratch(which isn't a bad thing, just time consuming), as well as The Walking Dead also from scratch(though in the case of this game, I'll just wait for that on-disc collector's edition to come out) - I started expanding my Blu-ray collection this year, no PS3, no way to see them. - There is a decent chance of the next Xbox coming out next year, if not the year after that. Even with me planning on waiting a year or two after the next consoles come out before getting them, it may be a little too late in the system cycle to switch consoles now. Another potential pro, though, is the next Xbox might be in some way BC with the 360. I at least don't remember seeing any rumors of the Nextbox lacking 360 BC, unlike the PS4 which has all but been confirmed to be not PS3 BC. I dunno. I mean, I like the PS3, but if the next PlayStation isn't BC with it, I'm one hardware failure occurring after Sony's stopped supporting it from losing all of those downloaded games.

why don't you just keep what you already have? constantly shifting back and forth like that sounds prohibitively expensive. you must have an awesome job if you can afford to go back and forth like that.

Eh, after mulling over some more, I'm deciding to just keep my PS3. I mean hell next week is BlOps II anyways, so I would only be playing Halo 4 for about a week before casting it aside.
That and next year is loaded with PlayStation exclusives that would cause me to just sell the 360 again. The Last of Us, Beyond, Sly Cooper, Ni no Kuni, etc.

I cant believe you even considered doing that again!
Bad Koda, naughty Koda!
I bought a preowned copy of Darksiders earlier on because I had some random trade in credit left over and needed to make up enough money to use up all the voucher. Have yet to actually play it though.
Anyone played? Any good?

Actually not that expensive. Just wait for the right time to take advantage of the right trade in deals at GameStop. Almost never spent a cent.

That being said, I still am worried about what the hell am I going to do with all of my digital downloads once my PS3 inevitably dies, especially if it dies after Sony stops supporting the system. With the PS4 looking to not be PS3 BC, that is a very real concern. But a concern I'll face when it comes time to.

The combat of God of War, the dungeons of Zelda, the art style of World of Warcraft, and hell, even a f***ing Portal gun, because why not?

Two Assassin's Creed news bits.
-ACIII sold 3.5 million copies in it's first week alone. A 100% increase over Revelations.
-Amazon France outed a "Assassin's Creed Anthology" which is pretty much what it is. Every game in the series (including III) and all of the DLC. Nothing more is said. But if they offer this at a good price, I might as well get this (even though PS3 has the "Ezio Trilogy" set already out, so it might be easier to get THAT and ACIII).

The supposed leaked price translates into just shy of $200, granted it probably won't be $200, but most like $150, as it is listed at 150 Euros. You'll probably be able to buy the Ezio Trilogy, plus AC3 and AC1 for cheaper, but remember, this includes all of the DLC, so taking that into consideration, it actually saves you money.
