Technically the second time it has died. First Official PlayStation Magazine was killed off not too long into the PS3's life cycle, because thanks to the PSP and PS3 having marketplaces to download game demos and videos, it made the demo pack in DVD pointless, and well they just upped and killed the magazine.
Then they took PSM and turned it into PS:TOM. And now that is what is being killed off.
So I wonder when we'll get word that Future will kill OXM as well? They are killing Nintendo Power and PlayStation: The Official Magazine, Official Xbox Magazine has to be next, right?

It was always incredibly over priced, and became even more so when they ditched the demo discs.
I wont be sad to see it go if I'm honest.
In other news, THQ are going bankrupt, so WWE14 may need a new publisher.....

Also I have ever issue going back to PSM.
And Koda, Future didn't Kill Nintendo Power, Nintendo did. Both side's fault, but more on Ninty.

It was thanks to PSM that I learned of the PS3. It was their E3 2005 wrap up issue that came with a DVD that had all the highlights from Sony's PS3 unveiling event that year.

It was an editorial difference from what I heard, Nintendo wanted to give them less exclusives.
