I have yet to see any Daniel Craig 007 movies but I am about to fix all of that. Best Buy has James Bond blu rays at $10 with a $10 coupon towards Skyfall.

All I know is that Q is finally going to be in this movie so lets hope that this leads to some cool gadgets in this and more Bond movies to come

Sure can't wait for James Bond to be drinking his signature Heineken, like he has for the last fifty years of Cinema history.

Awesome film, A perfect apology for Quantum.
- Good story - Good acting - Javier Bardem was a good villain
As for the song, I'll admit i'm not Adele's biggest fan but good god the song was good
*BTW DON'T go to the IMDB forum for it, people are giving away spoilers with no warning.*

I've been playing the song way too much in the weeks leading up to the release but hearing it and seeing the beautiful opening credits, it was just perfect.
definitely my favourite Bond film, surpassing GoldenEye. Bardem was brilliantly camp but also scary, Judi Dench was sensational and Craig was even better than he was in Casino Royale.

Can someone tell me where exactly this is suppose to be like in the canon.
The first two were suppose to be prequels, so is this another pre-Connery Bond?

Great. I just saw the spoiler before it kicked in. f***ing great. Not having a go at the poster who done it, just one of those things.

moved this post here to avoid further spoiler related problems for others Just came back from it and had a blast. Not gonna claim it's the best (I'm far too nostalgic for that) but fantastic movie. Great villain, loved what made him distinctive. Lady Dench was her usual brilliant self. Not enough quintessential Bond elements but you can't have everything. For those who have seen it {Spoiler}Killing off M was very unexpected, didn't see it coming at all. Moneypenny was a wonderful surprise, though probably would have seen it coming if she was white. DB5, hell yeah, plastered a huge grin on my face. Please put gunbarrel at the start where it belongs, especially since people are starting to get up during it in the end.

Sorry, that was not intentional. I had no idea that could happen. Now I'm one of those assholes I've cursed time and again.

I'm not a major Bond fan so probably wont see it until it hits Sky, but I've heard all the great hype about it - nonetheless, I noticed a friend of mine posted on Facebook about how it was utter piss, disjointed and full of plot holes and continuity errors. Comparing that to what everyone has said here, I guess he's in a minority?

I thought it was f***ing great. I know I've only seen it once but I put it in the category with OHMSS, From Russia with Love, Casino Royale and Goldfinger as the very best Bonds.

So, from what you people are saying, is that this film is quite awesome.
I think this changes my opinion from "Yeah, I'll go see it when it comes out in theaters" to "OMG, I HAVE TO GO SEE IT ON OPENING DAY!!!!"
