He needs to start picking people up in some easier to manage way. This is going to keep randomly happening. Not because Ryback is too weak to be doing the move, but simply because it's awkward as hell for the recipient to help "hop up" with one foot in a weird position like that.
He'll continue hitting it 95% of the time but still having screwups like this happen.

Paul Heyman sure as hell isn't an athlete. Seems like there's two ways to do this. You either help him by getting yourself off the ground, or he deadlifts you. The skinny guys, this looks great, because they take up no space and it's an easy lift.... look how easy Punk goes up and I don't think he even has to help. The round guys, good luck.

Remember that time that Goldberg kicked Bret Hart in the head and it led to the end of his career? Oh, I thought we were talking about things unrelated to this situation. But that is a little odd.

Remember that time when some guy named Skip Sheffield hit Ricky Steamboat with a Lariat, and Steamboat was hospitalized 2 days later for neck/shoulder weakness? Turns out, it's all related!

This is the good jackhammer on Show. Notice he's in pretty damn good shape there.

Okay, well if it happens again, they should really consider getting a new finisher. This shouldn't effect his push, but they better do something before it does.

I like that improvised finisher he did, it's like a twisting dvd/modified jackhammer.

Managers (especially portly ones) shouldn't be taking those type of finishers anyway, a simple scoop slam would suffice, only exception is Ricardo who has wrestling experience.

To be fair, Paul Heyman may not be the lightest and may not have core strength to lift himself up to help Ryback out.

Remember when I said Rybacks muscles are for looks not strength and people thought I was bsing? Yeah, still, but what it looks like he was trying to do is impossible. Watching him do it to Punk and then do it to Heyman it's pretty obvious it's never going to happen. His arms are way too far apart and Heyman is a slob and in no way is going to be able to get himself off the ground, let alone in a position to get himself on Ryback's shoulders out of a cradle suplex hold. The real question is why they didn't practice the spot to see it couldn't be done.

Why would anyone go into a match without proper cardio? Bryan has always said he trains so he can go 60 min without getting tired which he has done multiple times.

Remember when I said Rybacks muscles are for looks not strength and people thought I was bsing? Pepperidge Farm remembers. But seriously, he needs a new finisher or at least not have such an awkward setup that only works on skinny guys and jobbers. Also I think WWE wants to use Show to put Ryback over one of these days, and if he can't lift Tensai or Heyman without botching, good luck giving Shell Shock to a 500 pound guy.

The move already has his marching to give it flair, no need for the convoluted set up. Just lift them up like Punk does for the GTS.

Who came up with this finisher? It's got to have one of the most awkward set-ups in recent memory. You need a lot of effort from your opponent to set it up, and even then, it's got to put a lot of strain on Ryback's back and neck. I actually liked the improvised finisher he did more than the actual one. Though, I'm sure it wouldn't help the Goldberg chants if he used that regularly.

Has the Ryback vs Punk matches live event matches getting good feedback? Supposedly, no. I have heard the opposite.

From what I hear, they have been referred to as "ok main even matches", but not as "good". I've never used this acronym before, but SMH... and that dorky "march" he does before he drops them is awful. On the note of this video, that looked like it really could have hurt Heyman. That march to me always looks like he's trying to undo a wedgie.

Why not a torture rack lift for Shell Shock? He more or less winds up in that position anyway...
Edit: Stupid typo.

This is the good jackhammer on Show. Notice he's in pretty damn good shape there. I figure that WWE basically signed the wrong guy in 1999. They thought they were getting Paul Wight, the Giant from WCW But mistakenly signed Pete Wight, his slob twin brother, called him "the Big Show" and just said "meh, he'll do"
