I think to order them myself.... I am really split on whether I preferred this or Avengers, but both are better than Spidey. Prometheus I really don't care about and I can safely say I'll never watch it. Sure I've seen way worse, but I just really am not interested and I haven't seen any Alien movie besides the original Alien vs. Predator.

{Spoiler} I hope this movie doesn't turn into a Sopranos or Inception level of silly back and forth interpretation of what, in this case, is a completely clear and obvious revelation that Bruce Wayne survives. Yet, I still see idiots arguing that he's dead on other boards.
The Autopilot being fixed revelation is clear and precise exposition. And the sequence at the end is literal. Bruce and Selina are sitting there, it's real, not a dream. Bruce gets to live his life, Selina as well, and Alfred gets closure and relief that all is as he hoped. The end.
Yup. Not that I'm criticizing you or anything because I agree completely but I still the the implied ending would have been better. I can see that. And I'm not arguing whether it was the best ending (although it was the one that made the most sense based on how the story progressed over 3 movies.). It's just, on a certain movie board, there are trolls that are just so belligerently sure, despite all evidence being to the contrary. When you look at Nolan's trilogy as a whole, you realize quickly that the theme was {Spoiler} a day where Bruce could walk away from Batman. He finally did so in this one. That was what everything built to.

{Spoiler}Why am I imagining a credit scene where Selina and Bruce are making out, when the ghost of Rachel appears and screams "You bastard!" at him?

Very much enjoyed the movie, but one thing really didn't sit well with me. {Spoiler}I wish they'd just called Joseph Gordon-Levitt "Richard Grayson". I get that he was supposed to be a complete mix of Dick Grayson (Growing up to eventually become a police officer; the name "Robin") and Tim Drake (Figuring out Bruce Wayne's identity at a young age and going to him to try and correct his path) with a little bit of Jason Todd's origin thrown in (the way he lost his father), but the idea of a Batman world without Dick Grayson just bugs the hell out of me.

I'd be like "Oh, NOW you're fine with it?!"

I'd be like "Oh, NOW you're fine with it?!" {Spoiler}To be fair, at that point in time, had he quit there - as he probably would have if Alfred hadn't burned the note - then it would have been basically the worst possible time. Not only would Joker still be unchecked but Dent would still be free to be corrupted but with no one to stop him. Also, something that kind of bugs me, a little in retrospect and a little not, about Dark Knight. With some Rises spoilers in there - {Spoiler}Joker isn't really nearly the threat that they play him up as. A big deal who has a lot of people at his mercy, sure, but at no time does he have anything going on nearly the same scale as Ra's or Bane and Talia, and Bane basically fulfills what was his climax goal without much effort in Rises.

But she'd still be in the wrong, considering that the Gotham at the end of The Dark Knight is much different than the Gotham at the end of The Dark Knight Rises. He can actually afford to retire from being Batman in the latter.

That was what everything built to. The ending to Inception really messed with a lot of people's minds, which was hilarious to me considering it was an ambiguous ending. {Spoiler}It's pretty clear the ending was what it was. I still think the last shot in the restaurant should have been Alfred smiling and nodding in acknowledgment. Maybe show Kyle waiting at the table so we know she's there.
Another thing that wasn't allowed to linger was the explosion in the VIP box in the stadium, which I guess killed the mayor. Considering he survived TDK and was a focal point in the middle of it, to have him go out that quickly and with no follow up was kind of random.

Just got back from it and...... Holy shit. Just.......holy shit. THAT is how you end a trilogy, not just a trilogy of comic book based films, any trilogy regardless! The third part of a trilogy needs to bring closure to the series, and this film does just that to Nolan's Bat-films. {Spoiler}Also, I f***ING KNEW IT! I knew JGL's character would end up being Robin/the one to take up the job of Batman.
And while I can see where Korey's complaint of not enough Batman comes from, I was honestly ok with the lack of Bruce Wayne in the Batsuit, because 1) They establish in the film that he has no cartilage in his knees or elbows, and with the wear and tear from being Batman during the events of the first two films, Bruce's body was broken and in no shape to be Batman. Essentially Bruce in this film was like a wrestler in the twilight of their career, fighting Bane was his farewell tour. And 2) He DID spend about 1/3 of the film with a broken back/in that prison.
It was like they combined Knightfall and The Dark Knight Returns, and it honestly works, especially if they wanted to work in the infamous breaking of Batman from Knightfall, without having Batman having to tire himself out fighting all of his foes in rapid succession first.
I also should've seen the Talia twist coming, because when they said Bane was the son of Ra's, I knew that didn't sit well, especially since when Ra's talked about his wife and kid in Begins, I thought he was talking about Talia.
One last thing, you know what this film really reminds me a lot about? Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. Both the ends of a trilogy(well a trilogy for now in regards to Uncharted), and they both spend a lot of time questioning why the protagonist keeps doing what they are doing and why they just don't stop. They both also build their plot around something from the first entry in their respective trilogies, in the case of UC3, it is Francis Drake's ring that Nathan Drake wears around his neck and in TDKR, it is Ra's al Ghul and his legacy.

As for Bane's voice, yeah it sounded weird. Even though it gets better in the second half of the film, when I get this on Blu-Ray, I'm definitely putting subtitles on.

Having watched Bronson the two previous days, if Hardy used his Bronson voice for his Bane voice, HOLY CRAP. That would've made Bane shit your pants intimidating.

Bane was perfect as is Yes, he was a bad ass motherf***er who was VERY intimidating, I got chills when he said he was going to break Batman. However, he could've been even MORE intimidating, that's all I'm saying.

Bane was perfect as is ^^ this. I just got back from seeing it. While Banes voice was a bit muffled at times (which is a problem for quite a few people actually, there is a lot of mumbling in this movie) I thought it sounded great. A giant muscular man in a mask sounds much scarier when he's so soft-spoken.

A giant muscular man in a mask sounds much scarier when he's so soft-spoken. That's the thing, though. You can be soft-spoken without sounding like an skinny old man. Look at Morgan Freeman as an example. His characters are traditionally soft-spoken, but there's a bass to his voice that gives it a gravity.
