I forgot to ask about a certain character in my previous post about the film.... {Spoiler}The assistant to Daggett seemed to be set up to be a bigger deal at the beginning of the film. IMDB lists his name as Stryver. The man was clear to be a Bane follower from the beginning because he abandoned Daggett when Bane broke his neck. It seemed a little weird for him to disappear and the next time we see him, Scarecrow exiles him and he falls through the ice. Dr. Crane was a fun surprise too! Here is a link to the IMDB profile for the actor and I'm sure when you see a picture of him, you will remember him in the film. www.imdb.com/name/nm1218607/

Yeah. Which is kind of sad. Having watched Bronson the two previous days, if Hardy used his Bronson voice for his Bane voice, HOLY CRAP. That would've made Bane s*** your pants intimidating. Bane was perfect as is [/quote The character and overall performance was perfect, but the voice was weird. Nolan is really horrible at helping his actors find good character voices. Bingo. That voice was...just not right. The accent wasn't right for me as well. Bane's supposed to be from a Spanish -speaking island in the Caribbean. That accent wasn't even that close. The muffled voice from the mask made it even worse. In the grand scheme of things, it's a small error because Hardy as Bane was f***ing awesome but the voice and accent wasn't right.

The others devotion to Bane was cult like his was business like. Honestly, I didn't see him as a big character or would have anything more. When he was taken out of the Wayne building I forgot all about him. I think he was the dirty work type guy for Daggett, Daggett obviously being a shady businessman, and could get connections to Bane. To me, he saw Daggett wasn't in charge and jumped ship.

Just got back from the theatre. The end felt somewhat unsatisfactory, but overall it's my second favourite of the trilogy, with Begins as my favourite.

Where in the movie is it said that Bane is from any particular part of the world? It doesn't say in the movie, I admit, so I guess my nitpick is really unnecessary . However, as a huge fan of Bane in the comics, I would have liked to have seen it or at least mentioned.

He's going from Bane's comic book origins, which obviously don't mesh with the film. {Spoiler}Though they DID play with it a bit with the early going of the mystery of the kid from the pit prison. Up until they said said kid was Ra's child, it definitely fit Bane, as he was born in a prison in the comics as well.

But my brother joked that his death is a set up for a future movie and he will come back as Mr. Freeze. The Batman and Robin Mr. Freeze.

I think it had a perfect ending, and then it went on for another 5 minutes and cheapened it a tiny bit. Still amazing though.

After mentioning his betrayal of Daggett, I wanted so badly to see Bane kill that guy. In my head, he bear hugged him to death.

I loved it.
I can't help but wonder what happened to The Joker during the events of the film. I know he character is still alive after TDK.
I understand why they didn't want to recast him but I would of at least liked a reference to him.
Or maybe they can release a comic or animated film that takes place on the Nolan Verse that explains what happened to him.

The film had it's flaws but I think the thing it got perfect was... {Spoiler}That first fight scene with Bane. When Batman is just giving it his all and just gets his ass handed to him. You can see him come to the realization that he can't beat Bane.
The second fight scene was great too.

Idk, I loved his voice, it's what doctor doom should have sounded like in the Fantastic Four.

The second fight scene was great too. {Spoiler}The first fight was my favorite scene in the entire movie. Not even close. Also one of my favorite Bane lines in the entire movie came at the end of it when he breaks his back.
"Ah, I wasn't sure which would break first. Your spirit ... or your body."
Bane had a number of bad ass lines in this movie.

Idk, I loved his voice, it's what doctor doom should have sounded like in the Fantastic Four. Yeah, but Bane isn't Doctor Doom. Tom Hardy did Dr. Doom, not Bane with that voice. Before anybody crucifies me, like I've said before, it's a minor blemish but a blemish nonetheless.
