Honestly, since this was in the trailer and I doubt it's a spoiler.......did Hines Ward score that touchdown? I mean, we were robbed of critical information there.

He slowed down and turned around when he crossed the opposite end zone. I just meant does it count for the scoreboard, and thus, do they win the game? Clearly Hines had a body double since as juvi said up there he hasn't run that fast in a decade, but still.

Also, I know this might make me weird, but I marked out(internally) when... {Spoiler}They called back to the scene from the first film where Thomas Wayne helped Bruce out of the old well on the grounds of the Wayne estate. I just thought that that was a pretty heartwarming bit. Possibly the most heartwarming scene in the entire film without Alfred in it.

So, I sense a future Robot Chicken sketch for one moment in the movie. {Spoiler}Where Batman let Gordon and his friends get halfway out onto the ice before he made any overture to save them, all because he was busy setting up his giant bat torch.
I can just see Bruce/Batman slaving away for four or five hours coating the bridge tower with fuel while the clock was still ticking on a nuclear bomb.

Wow... STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID {Spoiler} Michael Caine did a 180 turn from telling Bruce in the previous film that Gotham needs a Batman to overacting like crazy to get him to stop? Sure, it's great he cares about him, but it seems pretty early on that Batman should come back, at least for a bit in order to solve the Bane issue. And how the hell did Alfred know so much about Bane in the beginning of the movie then play "duh" about him later on? "Deus Ex Robin" Blake figures out Batman's identity 'cos he's "practiced that smile" in the mirror but Gordon really didn't have a clue??? What the hell was the point of Matthew Modine's character? He was such a douche throughout that I figured he was part of Bane's crew. He treated Gordon like s*** for the duration of the movie, including slamming the door in his face. But there he is, leading the charge in full regalia! Then I'm supposed to give a s*** about his "heroic" death? Um, autopilot or not, a nuke with a six-mile blast radius would have seriously affected the city from fallout alone. Yet this is a NOLAN movie so it is SUPER FOR REALZ. The world's greatest detective cannot figure out why s*** always seems to go down when this brunette chick is around? "WHO"S THE TRAITOR" Indeed! And talk about a hokey death scene...hooboy, the shuddering, close my eyes cliche death from Talia is funny as hell. Such a disappointment, simply because it could have been so much better...I didn't hate it but it was far from the genius of the first two films. I know that Batman isn't as driven in these films but I cannot dig his abiity to want to give up so easily as it is so out of character. I did mark for the Scarecrow though! And Lt. Dangle! {Spoiler}Modine's character was supposed to represent what a hero meant to the people of Gotham. Batman is not around? Asshole. Batman is back? Let's kill some thugs!
And a fusion bomb reaction would not have had the same fallout effects of that of a fission bomb.
Also, I guess I am also an idiot because I did not forsee the Talia heel-turn.

{Spoiler}Also, I guess I am also an idiot because I did not forsee the Talia heel-turn. {Spoiler} I must be a moron, too. Even though throughout the whole movie after they mentioned that Bane was Ra's Al Ghul's son I was thinking "Wait a minute, Ra's Al Ghul had a daughter". Next thing I know, SWERVE! Although, I should've seen it coming.

Third option: {Spoiler}Death by Exile {Spoiler}That was one of my favorite parts of the movie. Crane is such bastard, I love it. {Spoiler}When he said that, for some reason I thought of the Quintessons from the Transformers movie. I'd give it a solid 8/10, short reasons: Took a heck of a long time to get going, Bane's voice did take me out of the movie, and even at this length, I think it could have done with a couple more scenes. {Spoiler} Establishing Robin's partner, I don't recall him being mentioned till after the bombs went off, and I just though 'wow that's pretty convinient you have a friend there we've never known about until now! {Spoiler} A scene where Robin and Gordon make up, Robin finds out about the lies, and despite the big speach, still seems super pissed off, next time we see them they're working like nothing happened. As for one key element of the plot: {Spoiler} I figured out the Talia turn when she and Bruce slept together, the closeup of the scar, it's one of those shots you wouldn't use unless it's foreshadowing they're going to turn, but the movie did absorb me so much that I forgot about it by the time the turn happened.

That's when I went "wait a second..."

{Spoiler}I will say this, between Arkham City last year and this film this year, Talia has been getting a lot of screentime in the multimedia parts of the Bat series.

{Spoiler}I figured before I even went to see the movie - based on a feature in the newspaper bringing up some characters in the movie - that she was Talia. They did throw me off the trail a bit when it was said that Bane was his son, but right when Bane decided to take her as a personal hostage it became obvious again.

Just the way she talked about her energy crusade(not her words, but still) rang with everything we knew about the League of Assassins from the comics.

{Spoiler}Perhaps the "Robin" thing was not intended to be a "Hey guys this is Dick Grayson" and more of a "You fools wanted Robin, so this guy is gonna take over for Bruce, here, get off my tail" {Spoiler} I thought it tied into the whole "I wouldn't use a mask, I'd use my real name" thing. Pretty sure he said something like that
