Decent episode Wouldnt say it's a personal favourite but actually more enjoyable 2nd time around 8/10 I guess this my thought as well, except I'm giving it a 7. |

7 seems about right. Entertaining episode, but not something I'm going to go out of my way to watch repeatedly.

Great episode all around. However, I would have liked to have seen more out of the extended family, but I think the show really wants to promote fleshing out its mane characters than giving development to the third and fourth tier characters like Braeburn and Hayseed, and only seems to do so when the plot (not that plot!) demands it, like Spitfire in Wonderbolt Academy.

So, "Apple Family Reunion"...giving it a 7, thus making it the "worst" episode of the season so far for me.
There were some good moments. I loved the Apple Bloom / Babs interaction (I hope we see the Manehattan branch of the CMC some time in the future), the fruit bats and the song.
But overall, the episode felt so bland and unexciting. There were no particularly memorable moments and it just felt...there. There was nothing bad or cringeworthy, mind you, it just felt...the episode came and went and nothing stuck in your mind.
So, I am staying with a 7/10 for that one.

It was a good episode. I think in one of those old ponies we got a glimpse of what Rarity will be like when she gets to that age.
So it is confirmed, we have a CMC Mainhatten chapter, now we just need their names, better to keep that a mystery till they appear if they ever do.
Nice to know, the lessons in "Applebuck Season" is not forgotten at AJ got help from her friends.

It's a fun filler episode, but after some really major episodes the past few weeks, it does feel like more of a dud

Applejack: 8/8 Rarity: 8/8 Rainbow Dash: 8/8 Pinkie Pie: 7/8 Twilight Sparkle: 6/8 Fluttershy: 6/8 So 3 of the 6 have a 100% episode attendance thus far. Fluttershy being the lowest is sadly no suprise due to the absolutely moronic disgusting unacceptable treament she gets from the creators  For Twilight is somewhat suprising  |

My best bet is that the American Gothic Painting is supposed to be of their parents, which would make it the weirdest culture reference of the series. |

Giving it a 7 also. Picked up nicely near the end, good but not great song, Braeburn and Babs Seed appearance! But the beginning to the middle was just bland to me.
