These tapes were released by the WWF (as Titan Sports, Inc.) in 1997 and were only available through mail-order. 'Cause Stone Cold Said So (the same video released by WWF Home Video in July 1998 but this version was released in June/July 1997 and just had a picture of Austin's bloody face on the box) In Your House: Ground Zero One Night Only (Bret vs. Undertaker, Patriot vs. Flash Funk, and Singh vs. Leif Cassidy were edited out of the tape) WrestleMania 1-13 box set (completely different from 1-14 box set released by WWF Home Video shortly before WM 15; this set was mostly unedited, leaving in commericals and promos that were cut in the WWF HV set) SummerSlam 1997 and In Your House: Badd Blood were released as part of this line as well. They were also released by Coliseum Video, so two home video versions of these particular shows were released at about the same time for some reason. Does anyone have any additional info on the Titan Sports line of videos, like if there were more 1997 PPVs (like In Your House: A Cold Day in Hell or IYH: D-Generation X) that were part of it?

I believe they were the only ones, those IYH's were never released in America. Oddly enough, I own both the Ground Zero and One Night Only VHS'. I got the ONO one from WWF.com back in like 2001.

The WWF HV box set was sold in stores, and the tapes could be purchased individually. The eariler 1-13 set had to be ordered through the mail, and you could only buy the whole set of 13 tapes.

I'm pretty sure the above tapes are from the Wrestlemania 1-14 box set released a year or two later. The ones that the OP is referencing didn't have that grey border and (if I recall correctly) were released before the scratch logo was even introduced.
I only had the original Cause Stone Cold Said So tape.
The only information I have to add is that these tapes were on sale at WWF live events in the summer of '98.

I was the OP and the poster repsponding to reply #2. I was aware those two pictures are the WWF HV tapes. The reason I posted them was so the poster I was responding to could know if the two tapes he said he owned were those tapes or the TS tapes. The 13 tapes of the TS box set have the same images on the front as the WWF HV set's tapes but w/o the grey border. The other sides are completely different as the WWF HV tapes contain a description of the event while the Titan Sports tapes list the entire line ups. To show the difference, here are pictures of both sets: 1-13 box set from Titan Sports; not sold in stores and could only be bought as a set 1-14 box set from WWF Home Video; sold in stores and could be bought either as a set or as 14 seperate tapes; was re-released a year later with WM 15 included

I ordered the Wrestlemania 1-13 set through the WWF catalog, IIRC.
Do you know off the top of your head what things were different about the two sets?

I always wanted that 'Mania set since I was a kid..now I'm even more interested that you're saying there is extra footage on the VHS. How come they never released this stuff on DVD?

I think one difference is that the Piper's Pit segment is (the most) complete on the 1-13 set. One odd thing is that Wrestlemania XI is the replay version hosted by Roddy Piper, I don't know about the other VHS versions but the DVD is the PPV version from what I can tell.

I ordered the Wrestlemania 1-13 set through the WWF catalog, IIRC. Do you know off the top of your head what things were different about the two sets? A lot. They left in Gorilla throwing to intermission, merchandise plugs, WM hotline/Superstar Line plugs, the WM VII ads on WM VI, etc. Also, the WM 11 tape is not the live PPV, but the Encore Plus version from 2 weeks later that Roddy Piper hosted. Due to that, the Sid/HBK post-match interview is missing, but there is some footage from Raw the next night, plus LT and Bigelow talking at a press conference after the show. There are some edits. Rockin' Robin missing her cue to start singing on WM V was removed (as it was on every other home release of that show), as was Jesse's "Ask Richard Belzer" comment on WM VI. Also, for some reason, Piper's Pit at WM V has been altered. When Piper tears the kilt off Brother Love, the shot is kept on Piper the whole time BL is running away, and Gorilla and Jesse's comments while BL was leaving ("Look at that!" "I'd rather not, Gorilla") are gone. Overall, though, they are definitely the most complete home video versions of the first 13 Manias. The only drawback is they, like the WWE HV set a year later, were taped in the low-quality EP/SLP mode.

For Wrestlemania X does your version have Todd Pettingill talking about the Fan Fest? There were two introductions of the fan fest on the pay per view though they were about a minute long. Things I remember were Bob Backlund signing autographs, dunk Doink tank, Yokozuna cardboard standup and the Hasbro wrestling booth. I think one of the segments was even after the Clinton impersonator was shown the first time.
I loved the WWF mania that had the whole show dedicated to the fan fest. I wonder how many other kids went to the store the same day to look for the Hasbro figures they didn't have like the new Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Steiner Brothers and Headshrinkers not knowing they weren't out yet.

Nope, I own the 1-14 box set (which took some heavy water damage this year ), and these 2 don't match it. I bought them at a pawnshop years ago, same with most of my wrestling tapes inc. the 1-14 set. And it's XI I have, not 13. I was wrong If I get time later ill post a pic of everything, but they are definitely from the 1-13 set. Only time I ever saw them other then magazines

Was most of this cut from the WM Anthology DVD sets, too?

Was most of this cut from the WM Anthology DVD sets, too? Yeah, although the line from Jesse about Richard Belzer wasn't removed from the WWE Home Video Anthology DVD set (nor any release of the Hogan/Warrior match since 2002 or so). Other than that, though, that stuff was not included on the original Coliseum Videos, the VHS box set from WWF HV, or the DVD box set from WWE HV. And of course, neither of the two VHS box had any music changes whatsoever. Just as an example, here are the things from WrestleMania 13 that are on the Titan Sports 1-13 box set version but are missing from some or all of the other home video releases: Sunny and Brian Pillman plugging the Superstar Line (not on any other release) Marc Mero and Sable shilling merchandise (same as above) Shawn Michaels talking to fans on America Online (not on Coliseum Video or WWF Home Video VHS releases; is on WWE Home Video DVD release) Ad for "In Your House: Revenge of the Taker" (same as above)

I own that Ground Zero tape. I got it at a HSN discount store in Wisconsin about 12 years ago. Awful show. The crowd is pretty dead until Austin appears. Crazy how over he was. Everything he said the crowd popped for. He could've said he was going to murder all of them, and they would've still cheered.
