Poor guy was nowhere to be seen once Wade beat him a few weeks ago. I'm about to watch him on Superstars vs JTG. Is he still called The Wildcat?

I think Kofi's fine. We're probably going to be seeing a lot of uppercarders pulling Superstars duty with Rock and all the other special attractions coming around for WM.
Personally I don't mind it if he's been depushed. I was getting tired of Kofi as the token midcard champion anyway. Now if they start pushing new midcard faces to take his spot, I'd be happier.

There's only so many midcard titles to win before people start to notice the guy's done it all before and isn't going anywhere, up or down.
Besides, I think his last push only happened because Ryback got rushed up the card to make up for Cena's injury.

Good
He's not that good and has dozens of chances yet, despite his multiple title runs, has done nothing memorable. Make him a jobber and give someone else a chance as the go-to midcarder. Justin Gabriel or Alex Riley would be perfect to take the spot Kofi has been hogging.

It's a shame that he's probably peaked (about 4 or 5 times over, admittedly), but he still has a lot of use as a midcard gatekeeper for years to come.
He may not get to be Ricky Steamboat, but there's no shame in being Tito Santana... if that makes sense.

I think he landed on R-Truth when he did. When was the last time that guy was on Raw?

I just don't think they see Kofi as a main event guy, and there are only so many spots. He's a modern day Tito Santana. He'll normally be pretty over and strong, but he isn't leaving his spot anytime soon.

I honestly think putting him on NXT Season 2 as a pro kind of hurt him since it showed off his lack of mic skills in terms of off the top of the head.

Truth is injured isn't he? Yeah... hasn't been seen since he split his knee open against Cesaro.

Problem with Kofi is he hasn't had a real story line, or been given a shot to do anything truly interesting since the Orton title feud. Ball: dropped.

I think they gave him the IC belt and a mini push to see if he would capitalize, and really we got the same Kofi, which is good but not great. He got some mic time and he didn't really deliver, just told us how rejuvenated and focused he was. His matches are solid and can be really good, but there's a lot of guys with more interesting styles and dynamic personalities. We've seen what we're going to see from Kofi in this carnation, he's got to change or he'll fade away.

Considering... {Spoiler}Shelton Benjamin, MVP, and Carlito might return. I think it's time he finally turns heel.

I get a feeling Kofi will be moved up the card this year or sometime next year. In Big Show's Rosenberg interview he mentioned Kofi in the line of stars who's ready to move up (along with Ziggler and Barrett) so if anything I can see him possibly winning MitB or moving up in general considering some of his "rivals" like Ziggler and Wade in the future will be moving up.

I'm not that bothered because once you get past the "WOW HE CAN JUMP HIGH TO CLOTHESLINE" stuff there isn't anything left.

In this era of "seemingly everybody becomes WWE/World Champion at least once", Kofi's doing fine. He's like Chief Jay Strongbow or Junkyard Dog; he's the guy you, as a heel, have to beat in order to break into the upper-tier.

It's called the Miz effect. After feuding with the Miz and mooch off his awesome heel aura, you either become a favorite, or fade into obscurity.

Thankfully, if so.
Dating back to ECW, I've never liked Kofi. I've found him generic in terms of presence, annoying and flat-out sloppy in the ring. Not even sloppy in an exciting way, like Sabu could be in his heyday.
Yet he's been pushed the hardest and the most consistently arguably out of any mid-card talent they have for years. Mid-card title reign after mid-card title reign, tag title reigns, flirting with the main event and getting to look good against them occasionally.
And, most people are still apathetic to him. The closest he typically gets to a solid reaction for all the work they've put into him is he's little Boom, Boom, Boom thing.
I seriously wonder how somebody else could've done if they had been given what Kofi's been given.
