I've been meaning to ask FAN this: Ignoring storylines and ignoring WHO The Rock beat for the title and WHO he might be dropping the title to: Are you happy with The Rock as the WWE Champion right now?
If someone asked me five years ago: "Hey how did you think a Rock WWE title run would go down amongst the IWC one day down the line?" I would straight ahead said yes. But things change. Characters bloom and sometimes it just isn't the right time. However I ask you IGNORE all that, and simply try to answer if you are honestly happy with The Rock as WWE Champion. I'm basically trying to see if it's a CM Punk/Cena/Storyline problem for the general negativity for The Rock as champion or just who he is and the fact he is holding it.

My main beef is due to Punk dropping it to him after so long and because it's going to lead to Rock vs Cena II which I don't want to see but in all honesty, I would have been annoyed anyway. I think it's rotten that a part timer who can't even be bothered to do any cardio has come back and taken the biggest prize in Wrestling when people bust their butts, day in and day out.
Ryback should have been the man to do it back at Hell in a Cell. Simple as that.

No. I'm not a big fan of the Rock to begin with and having a guy who has made only a handful of appearances and 4 matches (6 probably by the time it's over) in 9 years as your top guy annoys the hell out of me.

Yep. The Rock is my favorite wrestler, so I love having him as champion, even taking into account the circumstances of this reign. Don't care that he's a "part-timer" or anything else.

I love it. I know it's only going to last two months and I'm okay with that. I'm just going to enjoy it while it lasts. Rock was one of the people who got me into wrestling in the first place and I'm grateful that he's even back at all and giving us these matches we never thought we'd see. Ryback should have been the man to do it back at Hell in a Cell. Simple as that. I agree with this though. A lot of people overrated how important the kayfabe length of Punk's title reign was. They didn't need to sacrifice Ryback's momentum by having him lose to Punk 3 straight times. Punk could have dropped the title at Hell in a Cell, regained it (via Shield) on the first Raw of this year and his match with Rock would have been no bigger or smaller than it was anyway.

Yes. I'm glad to have somebody who I'm not embarrassed to say is WWE Champion, which hasn't been the case since Punk, pre-AJ storyline.

So basically don`t take anything in account that can make you like a title run besides who the wrestler is?
Basically do you like the rock or not?

I'm cool with it. CM Punk had to get his comeuppance at some point, like all good heels, and him losing his title to one of the biggest names in wrestling is a fitting end.

I'm glad that one of my top 5 (possibly even the #1 spot depending on my mood) is champ, yes.
The "part-timer" argument doesn't work either if he's dropping it at Mania. He'll work more then enough shows to earn his very temporary spot.

No. I used to be a big fan of Rock but he ruined himself in my eyes when he returned. From all the crap on the mic to the quality of the matches he had. So no,I'm absolutely not happy with him as champion.
Don't get me wrong though,I'm still a fan of the Rock character, just not the one from 2011 to this day.

Yes.
This is the first time since 2008 that I get to see a guy I'm a fan of hold a major title and be the top guy on the show. I'd forgotten what it felt like to actually look forward to seeing the champion on Raw, as opposed to feeling indifferent.
It's great. My guy's the champion.

Nope
Can't stand the Rock and I'm annoyed by the fact that even though he knew he was returning to the WWE, knew he would have to wrestle at least two long matches and knew he would be winnng the belt he couldn't even be bothered to get himself in shape for it. Sure he looks good but against Punk he was exhausted after 5 minutes. Not good really...
"I love the people! I'd do anything for the people.... just don't ask me to get in shape so I can actually wrestle for 15-20 minutes for them!

Yes. He's just as electric as he was during the Attitude Era.
More importantly, when he walked out on RAW with the title, it was the first time in a long long time that I felt that belt meant something. The title instantly gained meaning the minute he threw it around his shoulder.

The inner child mark in me loves it so yes. But after 2 matches of him blowing up (even though I enjoyed both matches to different extents) he does need to get in ring shape properly, and not just tweet himself training or being in the ring a day or two before the match.
I will say that the guy is larger than life in look, charisma, presence, physique, everything. Like Greek God like. To a lesser extent both Lesnar and Taker has that but Rock just takes it to a whole other level of escapism.

NO.
I understand how the business works, but it's still basically the same strategy as putting the belt on David Arquette. It gets people talking, and it'll definitely pop buys and ratings for the short term, but what happens after that? Did it do anything for WWE's overall value as a brand at all? Bringing back old fans and drawing in folks who just want to see the Rock won't do any good if they have no reason to stick around when he's gone.

NO.
"Part-timers" should imo not be champions.
The titles should imo go to people who are there full-time.

That's the point. Rock's the hook, but the rest of the show and characters will have to be what keeps viewers. That however might mean WWE has to abandon certain formulaic things and writing that alienates company growth -- instead of just having the same flawed presentation, and assuming people will stick around because of Rock or Brock.
