If Audrey getting cut means they can hire FANDANGIRL full time, I welcome this change. I'm all for this

I knew Bateman wouldn't get a shot. I think WWE didn't "get" him in the same way they didn't get Trent Barrera. I guess I didn't get him either, because him being released doesn't bother me.

I won't miss Percy Watson. He was cringe worthy.

I won't miss any of em. WWE never gave me a reason to care.

I can really only comment on Bateman and Watson, since I don't watch the "new" NXT. I honestly was never a fan of "Showtime" Percy, because he just seemed like Urkel, only somehow more annoying. But I can see why people were a fan of him, because he actually had a gimmick. I am upset about Bateman though. His partnership with Bryan worked, and he had charisma. I still love the Bateman/Kaitlyn/Curtis/Maxine love saga from NXT Redemption because they were all entertaining. Actually, this just makes me miss NXT Redemption more than anything.

wwe is like a guy who catches all these pokemon, leaves them in the box, never does anything with them then releases them. Also their party has a level 89 Charizard, a level 45 pidgeotto, and a gyarados.

But that guy exists in a world where no trainers are capable of competing with him. Thus...waste.

Bateman already has his first indy booking announced - he's returning to AIW in Cleveland on June 30th (on iPPV at SMVOD.com) in his old "The Deviant" Michael Hutter gimmick.

Okay, seriously. To all the people shitting on Bo Dallas, He's 23, which is barely older than Cody Rhodes was when he debuted, and look how long Cody took to get interesting

To all the people shitting on Bo Dallas, He's 23, which is barely older than Cody Rhodes was when he debuted, and look how long Cody took to get interesting It took that long for Cody to get interesting because they were barely doing anything with him. Meanwhile, Bo has been given storylines that could've been given to any other NXT talent or someone else on the main roster (i.e a Royal Rumble spot, and a mini-feud with the Intercontinental Champion). Cody was pretty much a glorified jobber until the Dashing gimmick, and even then, he was just a filler talent with no memorable programs/feuds until he broke his nose and put on the mask. WWE were better with managing their time when Cody was coming up, so if Cody was boring, it didn't really upset anyone because it didn't feel like Cody was "taking anyone's spot" or being pushed to the detriment of anyone else. Nowadays spots are limited due to WWE's need to have every top talent on every show. So there are a lot of other people I'd like to see on TV than Bo Dallas.

Cody was given 3 tag title runs and Randy Orton's tutelage (Orton legit picked those 2 to teach) though it took about 3 years for him to get an actual personality and character, and people's real reactions were "He's a bit generic, and needs to hone his ring work" which he definitely has. Meanwhile Bo was on the main roster for all of 6 weeks at most, and had half a feud, with the brunt of his gimmick being "He's the skinnier of IRS's sons" and people's react was "FIRE HIM NOW, THIS GUY IS SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT" And I'm thinking wow give it time, and I'm also not seeing why everyone else seems to think his in ring work sucks. If they were going to fire someone for sloppy ringwork anyway, it would be Khali.

Scott Dawson's profile has disappeared from NXT. He says on his facebook he's still there. Just debuted on the last NXT tapings in a redneck tagteam along Garrett Dylan managed by a french businessman, Sylvester Leforte. They just posted a tout video. His profile is still on the WWE.com NXT page.

Btw, its a shame releases are made when many of them haven't been utilized to their full. But that's how the biz goes.

I love Derrick Bateman, enjoyed Percy Watson, and thought Briley could have been awesome.
....but these threads can get kind of ridiculous. Once a guy gets released they're all of a sudden this huge, wasted opportunity for WWE.
There's always going to be another guy. I loved Bateman on NXT, but when I loved Bateman, I didn't know I'd love The Shield. I thought Percy Watson was a great character on NXT, but I didn't know Fandango was going to come around.
As much as I'd love for everyone to have something to do, it just isn't realistic.

As much as I'd love for everyone to have something to do, it just isn't realistic. They WERE wasted. The Shield or Fandango being awesome doesn't change that. WWE doesn't try hard enough to give everyone something to do. Look at how everyone was booked during the Attitude Era and compare that to now. Back then, people didn't need a big time push to the World Title, or to squash the entire midcard and make them look like scrubs, to be over, credible, and relevant. Maybe if they and others were given an opportunity to get over, then WWE would not need to over-rely on the top guys to take up all the screen time and more guys would get the opportunity to show what they were capable of.

As much as I'd love for everyone to have something to do, it just isn't realistic. So, Derrick Bateman's potential wasn't wasted because The Shield is awesome? Percy Watson wasn't all that because Fandango got so hot? WWE doesn't try hard enough to give everyone something to do. Look at how everyone was booked during the Attitude Era and compare that to now. Back then, people didn't need a big time push to the World Title, or to squash the entire midcard and make them look like scrubs, to be over, credible, and relevant. Maybe if they and others were given an opportunity to get over, then WWE would not need to over-rely on the top guys to take up all the screen time and more guys would get the opportunity to show what they were capable of. This is the problem with all of that. You spend time and effort trying to get Derrick Bateman over, and someone else suffers for it. There's not enough TV time to go around for everybody. And I know there's the "stop spending so much time on top feuds", but those are the feuds that people care about. So that's the unfortunate fact. People need time to get over, but at the same time, time has to be given to the people that are already over (your Ortons, Cenas, Sheamuses, etc.). So the time that people need to get over, is also the time needed for the already over. In WWE you really have to be a hit fast (like the Shield), or you're probably never going to reach the top level. Yes, there's space for guys like Bateman on the undercard, but then you're just substituting one thing for another, and getting the same results. They could build up lower card feuds between guys like Ted DiBiase and Hunico, but there's the two sides to that as well. If the fans don't care, the 'E doesn't care. If the 'E doesn't care, then the fans don't care. It really is a lot of catching lightning in a bottle. Also, side note (slightly off-topic), but I love that you changed your first sentence to be more forceful while I was typing. Like you decided you wanted to change the tone completely at some point.
