Got to love the guys making fun of the girls looks. I guarantee you nobody on this board (Including myself) could pull someone as beautiful as Velvet Sky. That's definitely not an insult to anyone on this board but she is model esque and it isn't fair to call her ugly or a "transvestite"
Again this board doesn't understand that the appeal of KnockOuts is looks alone. Velvet Sky doesn't need to be a great worker she's HOT that's all 90% of fans care about with women's wrestlers. Ever fans of SHIMMER, SHINE etc are there because the women are hot (Although they won't really admit it)
Sex sells, Nobody really wants to see a great wrestling match from a man or a woman anymore.

Unfortunately for TNA, there's no physical proof she draws anything at all. I've personally watched her pull more money in at meet and greet than Dreamer, Finlay, Morrison, Melina and others. What is physical proof exactly? My judgments are based on observations from live events. |

Which is completely irrelevant to this conversation about Velvet's poor wrestling skills. I don't really care if she's nice, the fact is tat she isn't talented enough in the ring to be in the position she is in. 1. She forgets spots and gets lost in the ring. 2. She forgets to sell 3. She admits that she doesn't work out, because of this she is slow moving around the ring, and gets gassed easily. 4. She can't take moves that require her to do any lifting, which makes her opponents have limit their movesets. Which is really pathetic as even Summer Rae who has been wrestling for only one year can take basic lucha moves. Oh boy. Wrestling is also about making money. I agree she's not the best in the ring. I'm just letting you know she has a host of other attributes that helped make her successful. You can bash her all you want. I'm just trying to give you any insight I have about why she is successful. |

Velvet Sky is the absolute WORST. She is awful, beyond awful actually. i watched the match she had with Mickie on Impact this week. Now let me review. - She comes out like it is 1998 and the crowd is filled with Jerry Springer rejects - she doesn't know where she is. She looks like she has been shot in the face with Homer Simpsons make up gun, dressed like a cheap stripper who lives in a car, has shitty frilly boots that look like they have been stollen from a cheap stripper. - The shaking her ass on the ropes thing just screams low class. She is a face in 2013, do you want women to be looking up to this or something? Seen it once, seen it a million times. She just comes across as skanky. - In the ring she doesn't have a clue what she is doing. She isn't coordinated at all. She can't do something basic like run the ropes. There are times int he match where she clearly either forgets spots, or it takes her an awkward three seconds to transition. There are moments where she looks like a deer in the headlights and poor Mickie has to be VERY patient with her. Plus, I have it on very good authority that she has shit for brains, that she is an idiot and a simple minded fool. She shouldn't have employment, and I actually want to see her fired and without an income.  Everybody makes mistakes, we are only human. But when it happens all the time, when you are simply out of your depth when it comes to anything involving skill you should move down to something easier. She seems happy and comfortable to grind her ass on some sweaty blood covered ropes, just find some job where you can do that all day and you'll be in your element you utterly talentless, devoid of skill air headed moose. |

What on earth are you on about? If she drew money, she'd be in a far better spot on the show and associated with a male singles wrestler in some capacity like Lita, Trish, Sherry, Sunny et all were. YouTube clicks from 13 year old's tugging off to her silicone chest and stripper routine doesn't make her a draw. |

I'm not denying that she's a shitty worker, but she's definitely over. And one of the top female draws in wrestling right now. |

Velvet is a "hottie" that is for sure, however, she has varied tastes like anyone else. This board is populated with many thoughtful, hard working guys. A lot of them go to the gym, some of them are actually wrestlers themselves, and a few might even be what you'd call model-esque. No reason FAN's userbase wouldn't have a chance with Velvet. 4chan, this is not. The appeal of the knockout is not based purely on looks alone. If that were the case people wouldn't really care to watch them at all, they'd just look up better looking models and porn stars on the net. What guys like you seem to never get is that Hot Women + Action is the magic combo. And if the women put on exciting matches that tell a story that goal is accomplished to an even greater degree. |

I have been saying for years and years that she was the absolute worst full time worker on national television. Even when everyone was crying that it was Kelly Kelly (don't get me wrong, she's bad). Velvet always came off as she's just doing it for the money and doesn't try in the ring, at least it seemed like Kelly was trying, as inept as she was.

No one expects Velvet(or any other KO/Diva) to throw down like a joshi. I do expect anyone that has been wrestling for 5+ years to be able to have a basic well wrestled match though. When they throw someone out there that often has no clue what they're doing in the ring it is obviously just to appeal to the lowest common denominator of horny dudes who are too dumb to realize that there are hotter and more naked women on the Internet. If money is being made off of that good for her, but lets not kid ourselves here you can throw any hot woman out there doing the same schtick and get the same money drawn. Velvet is hardly a unique money drawing money. |

I like Velvet Sky, but remember watching when the Beautiful People split up and the lack of Angelina exposed a lot of her flaws. The purest working definition of a proverbial "car wreck" was watching a tag-team match where one team was Velvet Sky and Lacey Von Erich. (Even Madison Rayne couldn't cover that canvas with a warehouse full of paint.) You want to turn away, but just can't help yourself.
What gets Velvet over is personality. She has "it". In the world of wrestling's 2013 edition, that's basically all you need.
