so I guess nobody here cares that Trinity war started with Superman killing a guy. 2 thoughts;
1) is DC just going out of their way to make Superman as not-Superman as possible? if there's one hero who was really hurt by the reboot it was Supes. not because they reset him or anything, but because they haven't done a single thing to make the audience care about him.
2) are we supposed to feel bad that DR. FREAKING LIGHT got killed? I know he's technically a different character but we're still only a few years removed from creepy rapist Dr. Light. I read a funny as hell review on Comic Book revolution where "Ted Kord, Ralph Dibny and Ray Palmer" read a new 52 comic with a running commentary. as soon as "Ralph" saw that Dr. Light was now a member of the justice league he walked away in disgust. and I'll be honest, I could see where the writer of the review was coming from.

I actually didn't even realize that Trinity War had even started yet. But then I only visit the comic shop once a month, so I'm a bit behind on things.

I may have misunderstood something but I thought it was stated in the book that Superman didn't kill him... as in he was under control from Pandora's skullbox or the Secret Society... and not you know ... Superman himself striaght up murdering a dude for touching his woman edit: the Trinity War officially started this week, there was teh Pandora comic that was basically a Prequel last week... but the official Start is Justice League 22.

Plus the guy behind the Society - the Outsider, from FLASHPOINT, fyi - basically said Dr. Light isn't dead anyway. So really all this hub bub is for nothing, apparently.
Although Madame Xanadu got blown the **** up. I suspect she'll be fine, since she's magicky and all - although from the looks of JL Dark's constantly changing cast, maybe not.......

While not a comic per say, anyone else following the JL8 tumblr? Its honestly one of the best web comics Ive read. They wrapped up the first."season", so now might be a good time to read the stories in full. Plus, the writing is great and the art.style conveys a lot of interesting things. Mini Flash is best Flash.

I don't think that is the Outsider. I mean he is similar but I have a feeling it is Joker.

Best Web Comic Ever? Best Web Comic Ever. This is adorable. I always think of Booster and Ted Cord as just fun characters, just the type of characters that you just enjoy seeing.

I also disagree.
I hated when they let Giffen and Dematteis do a little run on Jurgen's Booster title.
It really highlighted how much Booster had grown, but the story itself was just dumb.
Jaime Reyes was a Blue Beetle worth reading, and it was that character that got screwed.
Booster's only really been screwed by disappearing in the New 52.....so far.

Picked up the new Batman '66 comic. As a fan of the old 60's show, I figured it'd be worth the read.
