f*** I hope this doesn't send Anderson back to WWE, that WWE wouldn't take him back. I'd say that there is approximately a 0% chance of that happening. I really don't see the E taking any of these guys, they are loaded with talent and none of these guys are big enough stars to justify bringing them in and featuring them.

He'd never make it in WWE with that HIDEOUS AJ tattoo on his side.

He'll have to wear something like MVP wore in WWE, to cover up his homage tattoo to AJ Lee

I find it very hard to believe that WWE wouldnt offer him something. That doesnt mean he'd automatically be in the main event, which seems to be the assumption of some here in this thread, but they'd be dumb not to try to get him on board. Whether AJ would accept or not is a whole other issue, but he'd get an offer.
I dont know, the thought of going to WWE and being on a bigger stage has probably crossed AJ's mind once or twice, and even if he goes there and fails theres no way he won't have options afterwards, be it Japan or the indies or even back to TNA. It'd be interesting to see him try.

TNA would be smart to keep all their core guys, and let all the WWF/E guys go except Hardy (who is still a big relevant star).
That means getting rid of Anderson, Bully, Angle, Sting, the Legendary Chavo, etc. They already have a TV deal, they get a couple thousand on the road, and I think the brand is at a point where they have a core audience and nothing will change that (for better or worse).
Unfortunately, WWE is snatching up the good indy talent, and TNA has fallen behind on that front.

He should've gone to WWE 5 years ago when he was younger.

AJ is an important figurehead in TNA. He's TNA's Tommy Dreamer. He's been there since day one and more than likely been the person who turn out the lights. Losing him would be a huge symbolic blow to them. Granted the money saved could be used on new talent or their growing road expenses but it gives an image of weakness and desperation. TNA can survived without him but they lose the heart and soul of TNA with his potential departure. It would be a lost that will not be so easily shrugged off. I suspect TNA either pony up what he's asking for or AJ is taking his talents overseas. Because I don't see WWE knocking down his doors with an offer. Mr Anderson won't be going back to WWE because his enemies got major clout and his stock free-fall while in TNA.

God I hope he goes to WWE. It'd get him so good exposure and competition and open up an uppercard spot for someone like Magnus or whoever else. ALl good things

I think AJ in WWE could be really good. It could be a fart in church, but if he gets a good payday out of a year or two run, more power to him. He could easily fill the void when Jericho is off being rock and roll guy.

AJ's not leaving TNA. He'll be there for the 40 year celebration of TNA.

I think if you introduced him via vignettes, if you wanna be petty to TNA, call him king of the indies, and build him up as someone who could be a must see. I don't think he'd get any higher than Christian, but that's not a bad position to be in either. Well they have a king of indies, that's PAC

This is such an overblown story it is not even funny. I bet in the next week this will be a non-issue. Notice how Meltzer hasn't even said anything beyond mentioning what PWI reported?
There's no way he's going anywhere. Why would WWE even want him at this stage? I don't think he would get over in WWE. He can be the phenomenal one in TNA due to his history, but in WWE he wouldn't go very far with that. Every time he has tried to play a character it hasn't worked. AJ has a boring look and he can't talk. WWE is better off giving younger guys in NXT an opportunity and signiny more Indy names.

I would give an extensive amount of money to see Punk/Styles, Cena/Styles, or Bryan/Styles in WWE.
It's not going to happen, but I'd still love to see him make the jump.

WWE should sign him. And push him hard, he could really help WWE put on decent matches...for a change.
He really isnt that big of a loss to TNA.

Styles/Cena is one of my biggest dream matches but even if Styles did go to WWE I doubt it would happen in a way I find satisfying.
