- Big Boss Man saying he'll be at Wrestlemania 9. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
- A confrontation between Shawn Michaels and Roddy Piper in 1995.

Bossman would have been a good choice for Razor's WM 9 opponent. Even though he being jobbed out, he was a much more popular character than Bob Backlund. Bob is an amazing athlete and from all accounts in his personal life, he's an amazing guy but he was so out of place in WWF 1993 or even if he was in WCW. He literally had no choice but to change to a heel in 1994 and try to add a little color to his gimmick with the presidential run/crazy Mr. Backlund gimmick. Bossman would of course lose to Razor but it would be more memorable of a match. The Backlund/Razor match is memorable but really not in a good way.
Piper was also out of place in mid 1990s WWF. He must have Vince on speed dial and called up anytime there was a Wrestlemania coming. Either that or Vince wanted him to be a Babe Ruth type of guy coming in for a special event each year. Piper after 1987 was pretty useless to me, sorry to say.

On Nitro, Scott Hall once asked a young Nick Hogan on the phone "Hey Nick! Do you like race cars?"

So, Bobby Heenan actually managed Randy Savage alongside Elizabeth for at least one night. I guess so Hogan's "manager" Mr. T can have someone on the outside of the ring to fight with.
UPDATE: Looks like I was right about Heenan being someone T could fight with. Here's footage of the finish of the match courtesy of a local news telecast. (Also interesting to note here that it looks like Savage is wearing red knee pads and yellow boots while Hogan is in his mid-80s white attire,) -

This is such a surreal photo. Is that Kurt Cobain? Yes. Blew my mind when I saw that because its hard to believe they would have ever crossed paths.

I wonder what the origin of that photo was? It looks like late 80s given Andre's hair style as he grew it a bit thicker in his last three years. But I could be wrong. Again, I wonder the origin because I don't know if Kurt was very famous then AND Andre was very unfriendly to fans around this point in his life. Maybe it was in a foreign country and maybe Andre was more receptive to people there.

One of the most interesting matches I learned about in my analysis of Tokyo Dome shows, is that Bret Hart faced Misawa (under the Tiger Mask) in a 20 minute time limit draw at a NJPW/AJPW/WWF crossover show. Found a video: www.dailymotion.com/video/x25f0brAccording to the reddit thread I found it in, the match was ass, which is disappointing.

Unable to post it but there's a promo with Razor Ramon, Nailz and Kamala in late 92

So I just caught an episode of Walker Texas Ranger where the plot revolved around this big company trying to buyout a small time promoter and using underhanded tactics to do so. Now Walker had wrestling episodes before, notably one that guest started Roddy Piper, but what stands out here is that the episode starts with some hired goons cutting the wire of the promotions top baby-face as he's making a high wire entrance causing him to fall to his death. The fact this episode first aired in October 2000, a year and a few months after Over The Edge, makes it more than a little uncomfortable.

I doubt Chuck Norris or anyone on the writing staff even paid attention to WWF. If so, maybe the episode would not have been done. I know WWF very extremely popular at the time but Chuck Norris just strikes me as someone who would be in his own world and his staff would be too. Maybe he would be more familiar with Bruno era WWWF but not late 90s WWF. Also, who is in the picture with Andre. I see Michael Douglas, is it Michael's mother too? The guy in the back seems like a WWF agent who just happened to be there at the time.

Clips of Hulk Hogan defending the WWF championship against Butch Reed. As the tweet says, the clips come from the Wrestlemania VCR board game.

Okay, following this up I saw another episode guest starring Hulk Hogan. But get this, Hulk plays a reformed former gang member who, in the words of the character "hated blacks". The jokes write themselves.

Not sure if this was posted here yet nor if it counts, but here's The Latin Fury (Konnan) vs. The Juicer (Art Barr) at a WWF TV taping in 1992.

On an episode of SmackDown, it was heavily implied that DDP masturbated on a shrine he built to Sara Undertaker.
