That list was ok right up till you get to the original movie which is the best possible version it could've been, and is damn near perfect for what it was adapting.

He's done voices for cartoons before. Spongebob springs to mind.
He'd be better suited to Raph than disciplined Leo though

As needlessly dark the storylines in the 1996 version of the Mirage Comics sound, Raphael becoming The Shredder sounds totally bad ass!

You know what? f*** this. I want an Adolescent Radioactive Black Belt Hamsters film franchise. THERE'S a property that needs to see the light of the 21st century.
ARBBH could do a lot of good parody work at this point.
f***ing do it.

Oh boy...I am guessing that the Turtles are going to have interchangeable personalities like the TFs...

That's what I never got. People rag on Bay for "ruining" TMNT (which, I probably won't see this movie, but still) but to be honest the only incarnation thats even worth a damn to me is the current Nick series. The 80's series was fun if you're a kid, but honestly so terribly dorky its painful to even try and watch and THAT - that is the version most people are comparing this new movie to. Nostalgia is one thing, but trying to say that this Bay-TMNT film is "ruining" anything the 80's series done is just flat out delusional.

I saw the preview again tonight before Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Yep. Don't like it at all.

I think the Nick show is terrible (cardinal sin on the internet, I know), though neither the 80s show or the Nick show are a patch on the 4Kids one that ran from 2003-2009. That only ever had two lousy seasons near the end, everything up 'till then was quality

Splinter looks very life-like there ... which could be scary. A human-sized rat that lives in a sewer who trains ninjas is kind of horror film territory if you think about it.
I keep seeing the trailers for this and don't really see a problem with it. Maybe my nostalgia for the Turtles just isn't that strong or the fact that Transformers 1 was actually a fun action film overall.
