Yes. They brought back the classic i/c belt so hopefully they will bring the classic winged eagle title back also.

At WrestleMania WWE likes to talk about its history. The NFL will from time to time have teams trot out "throwback" jerseys. Combine these two ideas and have "throwback" title belts at WrestleMania to stand in for whatever titles are being contested for that night. That way you get your old school title belt nostalgia and maybe add a stipulation in which whoever walks out of their respective title matches gets the usual title belt to defend, and gets to keep the throwback title as a prize for winning at WrestleMania.

To whoever says that either the Spinner or the Big Logo (as I've heard the newest version of the title referred to) look like toys... I'm wonder what the hell kind of parents you had to give you toys with THAT MANY JEWELS and such on it. They say toys because that's the sole intention of their existence (and in the case of the spinner, its absurd life-span) : to sell replicas. Older belts were seen as trophies first and foremost. Today's belts are blinged-out eye sores designed completely to be sold to doe-eyed children whose parents have too much disposable income. They're seen for what they truly are: merchandise, and not anything with any true nostalgic value.

Eh, I prefered the Attitude Eagle belt. And TBH, I'm already pretty happy with the current WWE title.
My preference as far as belts from favorite to least favorite: - Attitude belt - Big Gold Belt - Current "Big W" customizable belt - 87-98 Winged Eagle (seriously, why do people call it the "Winged Eagle"? There is no wingless subspecies of eagle!) - The Spinner - The 85-87 Hogan belt - The Undisputed Title (sorry, just never been a fan. It always looked like a midcarder belt to me)

The Daniel Bryan picture reminds me...what IS the situation now with what logos WWE can use and when? For a while, they were blocking just the scratch in pics and footage, then the scratch AND block in pictures only, then both in both, now in footage they can use all the logos and the initials "WWF," yet in the magazine and some footage and promos for Classics on Demand, all logos are blurred. Why did they change it in the first place, and why does it seem to keep changing thereafter? The block logo they can use as and when they want to, there's no limitations on that. The scratch logo can only be used on old footage. I would imagine a lot of the blurred footage they've shown is just stuff they went back and blurred ages ago and don't deem it necessary to unblur it. - The Undisputed Title (sorry, just never been a fan. It always looked like a midcarder belt to me) afwhat one of the GOAT title If I didn't know better I'd ask when Lesnar held the US Title.

The Undisputed Title is miles ahead of any other belt.
- Black On Gold (Looks much better than blue). - Eagle still there. - Center plate was the best shape. - Had a nameplate.

Ah, good old nostalgia. You make everything in the modern years just suck.

The winged eagles is called that because the wings stick out.

I do want the undisputed title back. It was huge, it was prestigious, it was too short lived Agreed. I'm in the minority I know, but of the three pre-Spinner belts, Undisputed is my favorite. Then again I kind of like in its own way the current version of the title too. The Undisputed title was the best of the titles.

No. WWE does enough looking back as it is. It's time to look forward. There's no need to bring back an old design. There is a need to make a new design that doesn't suck complete ass.

Having a belt not designed by bikers might be a good step.

The current belt doesn't suck complete ass. Just maybe 86.3% ass. Get rid of the customizable sideplates and the belt would be just fine.

Having a belt not designed by bikers might be a good step. Blame Cena. I'm not joking. Cena thought the belt was too heavy so they went to the bikers to cut the back out of the main plate to make it lighter. That why the leak picture has a back to it but the final version doesn't

I remember Wrestlemania IV when Robin Leach brought the Winged Eagle down to the ring for the final match on a red velvet cushion while gentle piano music played.
Back then, the titles just meant more. They were treated with more reverence.
These days, they mean nothing. It's a shame.

It was a very nice belt. Though I think they want to keep updating it with the times.

The best trophies in sports or even pretend sports are the ones that generally don't get updated. The Stanley Cup for example. The base has changed over the years, but the cup itself has remained the same since the start of the NHL. If WWE were running the NHL, the cup would have diamonds all around it, would light up, and flash whenever anyone lifted it. In WWE, after several attempts to find good designs, their belts pretty much attained perfection from 1988 to 1998 with the classic WWE, IC and Tag belts. Those are the ones they should have stuck with as THE definitive titles.
I also strongly believe WWE needs a new logo. It looks ridiculous to keep using a defaced Attitude Era scratch logo when the Attitude Era ended ages ago.

I'd add three bars to the right side of the "W" so it at least says "WWE"
