Austin vs. Kane comes to mind. Another one was Taboo Tuesday 2004 HHH vs. HBK when HBK was one legged going into the match and was leaving for knee surgery as it was.

Cena vs. Rock 2.
Though I thought Cena would do something heelish to win or after the match.

John Cena vs. {Name of opponent} I think thats revsionist history the whole "Super Cena" thing, there were a lot of times where it felt like Cena would lose the title during that run againt Edge and Umaga for example. Also I'm legitimately listening to your podcast with JuRY, good stuff <> not for one second did i think umaga would win at rumble 07

Kane Vs Steve Austin in a first blood match, if Kane lost he'd set himself on fire and die. Masked man with 95% of his body covered in a FIRST BLOOD match where he'd have to commit suicide if he lost. Nothing tops that. While you're right about Kane setting himself on fire, it was never stated that he'd have to kill himself if he lost. Still a pretty obvious result Triple H beating Jericho at WM 18 couldn't be more obvious and is probably the reason the crow didn't give two shits about it(that and it was after Rock vs. Hogan). I vaguely remember he said "If I lose I'll set myself on fire and breathe my last breath". And if he didn't I remember the commentators mentioned that quote a couple of times during the show.

Austin vs Angle Unforgiven 2001. After 9/11, Angle all American babyface against evil alliance leader Austin, in Angles home town, after Austin cheated to win to defeat Angle at SS. Even with this, both the Summerslam and Unforgivrn matches are classics, and in my favourite matches all time list,

Putting aside that some of these aren't title matches, I don't for a second rate them as being more predictable than Holly/Lesnar. I mean come on. At least most of these guys could legitimately be BELIEVED to beat their opponents if it was booked that way.

JBL vs Shannon Moore for the WWE Championship on Smackdown.
No one is topping that.

Rock vs. Angle - No Way Out '01, it was clearly obvious that they were setting up Rock/Austin for WM & since Austin won the Rumble, this was rather obvious.
HHH vs. Jericho - WM X8, I know it was already said, but really this one was so ridiculously obvious that it wasn't funny, especially since, despite being the WWF Champ, Jericho was the 3rd wheel in the feud behind HHH & Steph.

And set other people on fire.

I recall hearing reports that some people left after Hogan-Rock because they wanted to beat traffic and already knew that Jericho would lose.

I thought Holly had a chance...
Granted I hadn't watched in 3 years or so, and had missed most of Brock's reign of destruction. But pissed off tough guy looking for vengeance? Yeah, I could see it.

I had to leave the theater I was watching it at because I had school the next day. Kind of thankful Triple H - Jericho went on last because I'd have been mad if I missed Hogan-Rock

Might just be me, but I thought Austin vs. Rock at WM XV was pretty obvious from the get-go; even before idiot Michael Cole spoiled everything by telling people "the NEW WWF Champion" was gonna be on their post-show event on QVC.
(That whole event was pretty flat and didn't age well.)
