John Cena vs that ECW nobody Sheamus in a tables match... ...oh...oh, wait... That was pretty obvious IMO. If the parameters of the match don't require Cena to be pinned or submitted (allowing him to save face in a loss), a majority of the time he will lose.

Cena vs Edge: Royal Rumble 2006 Trish vs Lita: Unforgiven 2006 The Rock vs CM Punk: This year's RR and EC The Rock vs John Cena: This year's Wrestlemania
I couldn't get more obvious than these matches.

Goldberg/HHH at Unforgiven 2003 which was made even more bloody obvious by adding a pointless retirement stipulation to the match.

Edge Vs Ric Flair TLC Match
It was quite obvious that Edge would win and have a match with Cena at RR

Brock Lesnar v John Cena at Backlash in 2003. Edge Vs Ric Flair TLC Match It was quite obvious that Edge would win and have a match with Cena at RR On a similar note, CM Punk v Ryback TLC match from earlier this year. There was no chance of them putting Ryback in the ring with The Rock at RR when they had been telegraphing Rock/Punk for months.

Do house show title matches count? Because all of them. True, minus the time Miz and Morrison won the tag titles.

The Undertaker vs. Rey Mysterio at the Royal Rumble in 2010.
Here's a gem from a promo leading up to their match: "Those are awful bold words, little man."--The Undertaker

Whenever a "main event" talent is competing for a midcard title. You know the match is gonna end in some shenanigans, or a DQ or fluke ending designed to keep the belt on the champion without making the main eventer look weak and to avoid "tying down" the top guy with a "lesser" belt.

On the Hardcore Holly scale (and I still say Rock/Cena II qualifies given how obvious the whole thing was like 9 months in advance) then I'd say Big Show vs. Big Boss Man is definitely worth a mention. I mean - did anyone ever really think the BIG BOSS MAN could win the WWF title in 1999? (Or at all really, but certainly in '99?) Big Show had only just won the title (unexpectedly as I recall admittedly) and the Boss Man had done some of the most cartoonish OTT heel tactics to the Big Show imaginable - was he really ever going to drop the title to the Big Boss Man? I came here to post this.
