Okay, but...If he's not, who is? Now that's a real tough question. I am tempted to say Triple H but he doesn't have that great of a universal reputation. I'm tempted to say either Bret Hart or Shawn Michaels *runs and hides* *hunts you the f*** down and teaches you a lesson in a 60 minute Iron Man match full of restholds*

Nope. Sean O'haire is the most overrated piece of garbage ever in wrestling. What makes him a piece of garbage? Anyway, in previous years, guys like Led Luger, Jeff Jarrett and Billy Gunn were all considered overrated. Use them as examples of the definition of overrated and you may find your answer. To be overrated you had to be rated highly by everyone. All three were over. But none were praised. O'Haire had a lot of buzz because he did the seanton. Jindrak is a better worker, had a better look, and was just better in every way. And so was palumbo. Yet people were on o'haire's nutsack because of one move. Then he had those promo videos. Then he went to live tv and couldn't cut a promo at all. And he still sucked in the ring. He was doing a bad goldberg impression. Yet the forums i frequented loved hin because of his dark gimmick and his potential. He sucked, but back then everybody said to wait because he was going to be good. Never happened.

His in ring work i hated even more so, when was in the ring with a wrestler who was more talented, he could put on a good match but with lesser talents, i cant recall a single great Rock match that didnt involve Austin, Undertaker, Foley or even Triple H (as much as i dislike him too). Im sure his fans will probably slaughter me for this, again im not denying how popular he was, but his in ring ability and promo ability, are they perhaps the most overrated of any superster of all time? Uhh, when the hell did The Rock and Undertaker have a good match? Their matches have always been awful, it's a bizarre form of anti-chemistry. Also, Rock was dynamite from 2000-2002 in the ring, and had damn good matches with a lot of guys.

No way. Rock was a great wrestler, with oodles of charisma. I think he was more over than Austin at times.

Always liked Rock's work in the ring. It's kind of light looking and not always great execution and all that, but he had so much energy in his every movement. He was a big guy, but he could work a small guy and take all their moves and sell like crazy. Take his matches with Jericho, the way he wrestled he completely elminated their size difference in the interest of what's best for the match. I was always impressed with his ability to do that, and to adjust to each opponent and make them look great in the ring.

Okay, but...If he's not, who is? HBK. In the sense WWE wants us to believe he's the greatest of all time. His ring work was great, sure, but he was lacking in look (great for a male stripper, but not so much for a wrestler) and promo ability.

Okay, but...If he's not, who is? The Undertaker, to a degree. Outside of 1996, 1997 and parts of 1998, he pretty much sucked until he morphed into MMA Deadman.

One of the top guys there has been and will likely ever be in terms of EVERYTHING you have to be, to be a wrestler. Use any criteria you want, the guy is one of the top two or three names that will always be remembered.
Dislike his work, character, whatever, fine.. but no, for sheer value of what he brought to the table, the guy is in no way overrated.

I voted yes, purely because I never personally liked him. Even as a kid he really, really irritated me with his crap insults and shouting type promo delivery.
I was always more of a Kane, Stone Cold and Mick Foley fan as a kid. Guess I preferred the badass than the cocky, egotistical insult throwing type characters.

My vote would probably go to C.M. Punk. Promo-wise, he's a one-trick pony, and that pony's nothing special. If you've seen one Punk promo, you've seen them all. He's also sloppy in the ring, has a putrid body, and has never drawn a dime.
He's no better than The Miz, and in some ways is inferior.

Everybody that bought MITB 2011 must have paid to see Cena squash that nobody from Chicago! That's why the crowd was completely against Punk.
