I'm probably supposed to feel angry, but this news just makes me bored.
It's weird that the so called "face of the WWE" is the total anti-thesis of what the 'E' is supposed to stand for.

Still think Bryan wins the Rumble and faces Orton at Wrestlemania, if not him than Punk. I really don't see the problem. They did too many shenanigan endings, and there really wasn't buildup to any at this one anyway. I think people were upset because they saw Cena helping Stephanie up as foreshadowing a heel turn somehow. I'm fine with Orton as Champ so long as Punk or Bryan take the belt. I didn't even know about the Cena helping Stephanie up thing. I'm just mad because... It's Randy Orton. By absolutely no criteria does this man deserve the spot he's in, and yet he has for years upon years been shoved down viewers' throats.

Does this render everything Cena said in his promo this past Monday bullshit now that Orton won? Nah, I'm sure Cena's got a few more theories on why Orton's an undeserving World Champion.

I swear if Cena won this match the reaction would be the exact same... Not necessarily. There are places to go with Cena as unified champ. We could finally get Cena/Punk at Mania, or Cena/Bryan part dos to establish something between the two...or Cena/Punk/Bryan (my wish). With Orton, what do we get for the title? Punk again? Bryan for the fourth time at a PPV in less than 8 months? Cena for the 800th time? It's just so...blah to have Orton as champ at Mania.

How exactly has he been boring though? When he was just spinning his wheels in his last face run until the end, THAT was boring.

Well at least I don't have to worry about putting Raw on the PVR.

I could see them doing Orton/Sheamus at Mania. That would be a fresh matchup...

I guess I'm one of few Orton fans around here. I like him a lot, I like his matches, his weird emotionless voice goes a lot to making me believe he's kind of cracked, and I want to see him vs Bryan on a big stage. I like the ending

Further proof that nothing that has happened in the WWE since 2007 has mattered. There is very nearly literally no reason to watch anymore. Between WWE and TNA, I may just be done with wrestling. Cool. You've said that twice already.

I actually think it's fresher for Orton because you could actually buy that he'll lose to Punk or Bryan, and Punk and Cena has been just as overdone as Bryan/Orton.

I'm completely with you on this but I know some people will have the same ol' ermahgerd super Cena strikes again Guess we will have to see where this heads, I know it's doubtful but we still have the chamber and the rumble for him to lose the strap

Does this render everything Cena said in his promo this past Monday bullshit now that Orton won? Hardly the first time for that. He basically said he'd kill himself if he lost to The Rock at WM 28 and came out the next night smilin' as always. Hell he was already smiling when Orton won.

At least since he made the main event. Before that he had a little charisma but wrestled like he had the best chinlock in the business

I like him a lot, I like his matches, his weird emotionless voice goes a lot to making me believe he's kind of cracked, and I want to see him vs Bryan on a big stage. I like the ending But what purpose does him vs Bryan AGAIN serve? They have mainevented THREE PPVs this year, they mainevented a Raw, they fought together at MITB and hell, they even mainevented a Smackdown. I want Bryan to beat Orton as much as anyone, but having them fight again at Mania seems like such overkill. It would have been better if Bryan/him were the last two in the Elimination Chamber or something, and Bryan got over the hump by beating him there.

B) Orton has more credibility and it means more for a guy to beat him. its both sad and pathetic that being an 8-time WWE Champion and 3-time World Heavyweight Champion and being a main eventer for years isn't enough credibility and he still has to be built up
