How exactly has he been boring though? When he was just spinning his wheels in his last face run until the end, THAT was boring. He has all the sizzle and promo ability of a mail truck. At least since he made the main event. Before that he had a little charisma but wrestled like he had the best chinlock in the business He's been fine on the mic. Using NO HYPERBOLE, what is supposedly so bad?

I like the guy's matches though, and I think the belts better on him at this moment then Cena.

Not necessarily. There are places to go with Cena as unified champ. We could finally get Cena/Punk at Mania, or Cena/Bryan part dos to establish something between the two...or Cena/Punk/Bryan (my wish). With Orton, what do we get for the title? Punk again? Bryan for the fourth time at a PPV in less than 8 months? Cena for the 800th time? It's just so...blah to have Orton as champ at Mania. I actually think it's fresher for Orton because you could actually buy that he'll lose to Punk or Bryan, and Punk and Cena has been just as overdone as Bryan/Orton. Punk/Cena has only been done at epic times recently to establish how epic it is, in a sense. Plus, they only fought once this year and it was arguably the MOTY. They haven't fought EIGHT times, with three maineventing PPVs.

I guess I'm one of few Orton fans around here. I like him a lot, I like his matches, his weird emotionless voice goes a lot to making me believe he's kind of cracked, and I want to see him vs Bryan on a big stage. I like the ending But what purpose does him vs Bryan AGAIN serve? They have mainevented THREE PPVs this year, they mainevented a Raw, they fought together at MITB and hell, they even mainevented a Smackdown. I want Bryan to beat Orton as much as anyone, but having them fight again at Mania seems like such overkill. It would have been better if Bryan/him were the last two in the Elimination Chamber or something, and Bryan got over the hump by beating him there. I liked all their previous stuff and two of my favorite wrestlers in the main event of Wrestlemania would be a lot of fun for me to watch.

That's first Heavyweigh champion.Get it right. What's with the WWE graphics lately? A couple weeks ago Randy Orton had three arms and now they can't even spell 'Heavyweight'.

I think the worst part of the PPV for me was when Vince's music played and then absolutely nothing happened, they just applauded him. I was expecting some kind of twist, but no.

I can't believe they let this depraved lunatic become champion. God knows how many pictures his ex-wife is gonna post on facebook now.

B) Orton has more credibility and it means more for a guy to beat him. its both sad and pathetic that being an 8-time WWE Champion and 3-time World Heavyweight Champion and being a main eventer for years isn't enough credibility and he still has to be built up Because Orton in this new character hasn't been portrayed as strong and has been made to look like a bit** over and over again and needed a clean won for this character to give the proper rub down the line to a babyface.

That's first Heavyweigh champion.Get it right. It's so appropriate for how they've been doing things for a couple years now that the "biggest moment EVER' has a goddamn typo announcing it.

Not annoyed at the result, but did expect a bit more of the main event. Didn't think it was horrendous, but it was not worthy of the gravitas attached to the unification of the belts after eleven years.
That said, I do not really want orton to be defending at mania, so I am clinging to the possibility he could drop the belt at the rumble or elimination chamber.
How Cena reacts to this is a potential interesting plot line if they do it right.

Does this render everything Cena said in his promo this past Monday bullshit now that Orton won? Hardly the first time for that. He basically said he'd kill himself if he lost to The Rock at WM 28 and came out the next night smilin' as always. Well, I took Cena guaranteeing a title shot to Bryan as a clear indicator that Orton would win. Question: Is Randy Orton the called the First Undisputed WWE World Heavyweight Champion because all of the other ones were all Undisputed WWF World Heavyweight Champions?

How exactly has he been boring though? When he was just spinning his wheels in his last face run until the end, THAT was boring. Every promo and match of his is basically exactly the same, and he's doing the exact same things he's been doing since... God, like 2005. At least when he was a face going nowhere having meaningless matches he was easy to ignore instead of central to the entire show, with the commentators never shutting up about him in totally unrelated segments and matches.

Well, I'm quite fond of Orton, and I would've been pretty damn satisfied no matter how the match turned out.
Considering it was a really fun match to watch, I'm extremely satisfied with the outcome, and interested to see where this goes.

I think he's bending over for Triple H. Too much of his career is centered around HHH in some way shape or form. That's the only explanation for his massive pushes. Lord knows it's not because he's so entertaining and full of charisma. And it certainly isn't because he's all that great either. Triple H has been touting this guy as the future for 10 years now despite a lot of people think otherwise.
