Can we bring this back now? 1. That was sued before there was a unified belt 2. Going back to an old design would be backtracking and pointless. 3. They jsut spent god knows how much on the new WWE belt this year, they aren't going to replace it.

I could see them doing Orton/Sheamus at Mania. That would be a fresh matchup... What would be a fresh match up? CM Punk vs Bryan? no Cena vs Punk? no Orton vs Punk? no

Has there been a statement as to what the lineage of the title will be?

I felt like the last ten minutes of the PPV was directed by David Lynch. I kept expecting something was gonna happen and all the tension was building towards something, then the copyright credit on the bottom corner showed up and that was it. So then I wondered if the PPV meant to be symbolic. And that I should have been looking for symbolism instead of an ending. All I can come up with was the Cena landing on the table like he was sleeping symbolized their creative direction stuck in hibernation.

I guess I'm one of few Orton fans around here. I like him a lot, I like his matches, his weird emotionless voice goes a lot to making me believe he's kind of cracked, and I want to see him vs Bryan on a big stage. I like the ending But what purpose does him vs Bryan AGAIN serve? They have mainevented THREE PPVs this year, they mainevented a Raw, they fought together at MITB and hell, they even mainevented a Smackdown. I want Bryan to beat Orton as much as anyone, but having them fight again at Mania seems like such overkill. It would have been better if Bryan/him were the last two in the Elimination Chamber or something, and Bryan got over the hump by beating him there. I can't help but be reminded of Orton/Christian. Someone earlier mentioned Orton/Sheamus maybe at Wrestlemania. If that happened, maybe we'd get lucky and have another 10 seconds title win for Sheamus, not because I particularly enjoy Sheamus but because I'm bored by Orton.

CM Punk vs Bryan? no Cena vs Punk? no Orton vs Punk? no Rather than trying to make a fresh match up, they should be making sure that the match is exciting. A feud between the right superstars can still be entertaining, even if it's already been done before recently.

Can we bring this back now? It's my favorite belt and it's perfect considering it actually says "World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion" considering that's what they are calling it again

Randy's emotional reaction of joy and elation to winning the first ever Unified Undisputed World Title really sold me on how important and historical this all was.

I'll get heat, but I'll wait and see until tomorrow to see if this is what they're truly going for. You know how they like saving angles for their television shows. Ahhh, the old "Build up free TV shows on Pay Per View" method of booking. NEVER fails, that one.

But yeah, I have always/will always hate Orton. Like others have said, I think his matches are like watching paint dry and I've never enjoyed anything he has done. But last night our choices were Cena or Orton. Let's face it, we were flat out f***ed either way.

What's with the WWE graphics lately? A couple weeks ago Randy Orton had three arms and now they can't even spell 'Heavyweight'. Sin Cara had one job. Cut him some slack. His typing finger is dislocated.

I'm trying to be optimistic and taking it as a sign that they're sticking with a long-term program that ends with Bryan rising above all the distractions and shenanigans and finally taking down the hand-picked corporate champ at WrestleMania. ... stop laughing. Let me have my fantasies, dammit.

Nobody REALLY likes Orton. They're just contrarians trying to mug for attention to show how rebellious and edgy they are for liking someone that the boards hate and rejecting the board favorites. Come on. EVERYBODY knows that.

All I can come up with was the Cena landing on the table like he was sleeping symbolized their creative direction stuck in hibernation. Whoa whoa whoa. If David Lynch directed this, there would have been at least more going on than what we got. Let's not sully the name of the man who gave us Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive.. This was more along the lines of Michael Cimino. He conned many people into believing that he was some cutting edge story teller, and in the only case it worked (Thunderbolt and Lightfoot), he was heavily assisted. Unfortunately, ol' Michael got the big head after he conned people with The Deer Hunter. A movie over 3 hours long, that dragged for what seemed like days, had abrupt jumps segways and a lot of no payoffs. Everything built towards a scene that most predicted in the first hour of the movie, but it continued going on and on. Needless scene after needless scene and talking about the same things over and over. And then every movie after that seemed to be less and less fulfilling, the same way WWE has been with their last 5 PPVs.

I'm probably supposed to feel angry, but this news just makes me bored. It's weird that the so called "face of the WWE" is the total anti-thesis of what the 'E' is supposed to stand for. After last night he barely represented the "W" that stands for wrestling, how many actual wrestling moves were in that main-event? And since when is he a "World"?

Ie: you hit each other with weapons and fall through tables.
