The only one I get sincerely tired of is DX and the f***ing tank. It was a funny couple of segments with a midcard comedy stable. WWE acts like they stormed the building and kicked Eric Bischoff in the nuts.

The DX / WCW thing at first when I was little and seen it, yeah I thought it was cool, a little moment of jabbing the other company, big deal.
In the subsequent DVD's regarding big moments, and WCW, and all that tho. They act like that one night was the night everyone woke up and switched to WWF, that one little moment with Degeneration X was the breaking point, they just HAD TO SEE MORE WWF.
I think part of that is Triple H sensationalizing his own career, when really he didnt become a big deal til like 2001-2002

Kurt Angle and the milk truck thats overplayed? To me it is a little overplayed like at the time it was cool but I don't need it being replayed over and over again on various compilations and being shown at certain moments

The Fingerpoke of Doom/Mick Foley title win is portrayed as the final blow but WCW was actually pretty close in the ratings until Februay/March that year. It was an important moment but It didn't get really bad (ratings wise) for WCW until The summer.
That WWE was secretly funding ECW while WCW was "damaging" ECW. WCW also funded ECW (at times) and WWE also damaged ECW in late 1999 by signing Tazz and The Dudley boyz and getting them kicked off TNN. In my eyes, both were just as guilty in the folding of ECW.

This is Your Life segment with Mankind and The Rock. The WWE acts like this is the greatest segment of all time when it was nothing more than The Rock acting like a spoiled brat and even going as far as calling his ex-friend a skank for not letting him go further with her. It was pure garbage and even worse it dragged on forever. I hope never to see this again. I think it is the or one of the highest rating segments in the history of RAW so it at least makes sense why it's used. getting them kicked off TNN. In my eyes, both were just as guilty in the folding of ECW. I think Heyman pissing off the network was more damaging and more likely why TNN threw them off more than anything the WWE did.

[/quote] Fair enough, this was probably a catalyst that led TNN to start negotiating with WWE.

I'm kind of sick of all of it. Snuka off the cage, hogan slams Andre, Foley through the cell, Austin 3:16 just whooed your ass, the boyhood dream came true...its like a this company has been around for a long time, they have a huge tape library. You would think that there would be more memorable moments. I'm sorry, did Austin become the Nature boy after that? In all honesty I can see a lot of things being overplayed, since WWE loves to bring it up almost everytime, it's just gets talked about too much on Tv and DVDs, but on the plus side, it makes recounting all the other stuff better, The stuff between all those "memorable moments' just because it's not talked about 24/7 Everytime I hear "DX invading WCW" I recall the Attitude Era Podcast talking about the other time they did that segment with Triple H "skywriting" with a fighter jet.

The definitive answer is clearly Stevie Richards winning the WHC.
Seriously, given how much it's been used on DVD compilations, the ladder match at WMX. Savage/Steamboat too, to be honest.

I remember when I was watching Raw the night DX "invaded" WCW. I thought they were going to get into the building and show up on Nitro, but they didn't, so it didn't really seem to have a point to it. I never really gave it another thought for several years, because nothing really ever came of it. That was until after WCW was bought out and the WWE kept telling me that it was such an important thing.
