I feel bad for anyone checking out the DX invasion for the first time thinking something cool is going to happen. It was just them hanging out by locked doors with HHH trying to make something out of it and failing. I find it funny that they keep showing Hogan slamming Andre but no Cena AAing Show or Viscera which is even more impressive, especially when he did it Show and Edge. I guess they don't show it because then the commentators can't speculate about whether he can do it or not the next time he does it It's also due to the match itself, Hogan vs. Andre is the culmination of one of the best storylines they've ever had... and a huge moment in pop culture history. Cena AA'ing Big Show or Viscera isn't nearly as memorable though more impressive.... also probably for the Commentator stupidity... After Cena retires we might see the Cena AAing Big Show at Wrestlemania 20 more when they hype the US Title or something since it's the first title he won in the WWE.

One thing I never get sick of though is Brock superplex Big Show and the ring collapse. To this day I am not sure if that was meant to happen or not. That I will say is my ultimate Holy Shit moment along with Shane O Mac jumping off the rigging (much more impressive than any of Foleys stunts).

Pretty much everything from 1998-2000, honestly. Aside from the stuff I have DVD, which I am paradoxically somehow less sick of because I own it and so choose to watch it occasionally.

Madusa and the title belt is the one I initially thought of
The big problem is, for these moments being iconic, overusing them just seems to take the sheen off of them slightly.
The DX tank moment however never really appealed to me in the first place, so to keep playing them only makes me more sick of it. If I had to describe my thoughts of that segment, I'd use the words 'desperate' and 'pathetic'

Of course, it was none other than HHH who could have lead us to the promised land. I expect his next gimmick will be carrying a cross with a crown of thornes on his head. Wasn't Jesus known as the King of Kings?[/quote] Yes he was. Never been one of my favorite HHH nicknames for reasons I will not get into lol.

I liked those Shane spots but he was so well protected that it's nothing like Foley's spots. Shane's taken some nasty bumps before, so that's not a knock on his toughness.

The Kiss My Ass Club. The first segment was disgusting, but hey they got their point across. Taker had a legitimate heel turn out of it. Every time after it though?

The screwjob itself is historical, so thats fine. I don't even think they replay it that much.
My problem with it is all the times they've tried to make a worked recreation of it. The whole point of the screwjob was that it wasnt a work. Its just silly every single time they try to do it now.

Hogan slamming Andre just doesn't seem all that great. Wow, he bodyslammed somebody. Stop the presses. If somebody asked me to show people why I'm a fan of wrestling and I picked that clip, they'd roll their eyes and yawn.
Also DX Invading WCW, just always seems like the sort of ridiculously lame thing where, if TNA tried it, everyone would laugh at them.

This is Your Life segment with Mankind and The Rock. The WWE acts like this is the greatest segment of all time when it was nothing more than The Rock acting like a spoiled brat and even going as far as calling his ex-friend a skank for not letting him go further with her. It was pure garbage and even worse it dragged on forever. I hope never to see this again. At the time, this was crapped on every bit as much as the lame comedy skits WWE does now. The only difference is that it went on much longer and is still being shown.

Sticking with the entree DX Invades WCW moment, I remember in an interview or his book, Triple H said something along the lines of (I'm paraphrasing)
"WCW and Eric Bischoff just closed the shutters on us. They locked us out of the damn building, which was a stupid mistake on his part. If we'd made it into the building imagine how many viewers would have switched over to Nitro to see what happened. Good move Bisch! *thumbs up*"
That may have been the stupidest thing I've ever heard a wrestler say. A guy as smart as HHH surely doesn't believe that DX being allowed to run rampant on Nitro would be "best for business"?

Unless he thinks WWE shouldn't have allowed the NWO onto Raw in 1998 had the roles been reversed, he's right. WWE wrestlers showing up on WCW programming without leaving WWE first (or WCW wrestlers showing up Raw while still part of WCW) would have been huge.

LOD riding their motorcycles to the ring at Wembley. They hadn't done anything meaningful in months, they were gone right after that match, and Hawk was completely wasted.

Most of what DX did during the Attitude Era. You can have the DX guys say it was so groundbreaking and breakthrough all you want, it really wasn't. Most of their schtick wasn't funny either.
