So imagine you are the undertaker. You've got the streak and you're a guaranteed hall of fame headliner who'll be put over by wwe for decades to come.
Assuming you get the final decision, would you choose to end your career with your streak in tact, the only guy ever to achieve such a thing, and retire on top.
OR
Would you use your last match to put over a hand picked opponent at wrestlemania, sacrificing a part of your claim to fame, but giving the fans an unforgettable moment and giving someone else a career boost?
For me, I feel that if there's an opportunity to create an awesome moment in wrestling history, I'd do it as a way to give something extra back to the fans, especially if i'm a made man anyway.
This question is more about how much you value a kayfabe achievement against the opportunity to create a new "wrestlemania moment".

I'd go out on my back. It's the right thing to do.

I'd maintain the streak, because I'd have no confidence in WWE to use the breaking of the streak as a platform for a sustained push for whoever broke it.
Also, breaking the streak might lead to resentment in the locker room and management towards the guy who did it. I'd rather not place that burden on them.

I'd give someone the streak, but I'm not gonna retire at WM. I'm gonna try to go until Survivor Series. I'd give someone else the rub of "retiring" me so that TWO guys get made.

I tend to find that awesome moments are rarely followed through correctly in wrestling. That's why I'd take the opportunity regardless, with the knowledge that it'll probably end terribly 2 months down the line.

Yeah, even if WWE flops creatively with that guy, he still has that one accomplishment on his career.

Retire with it.
In all probability the WWE will drop the ball with whoever would beat him at WM so just keep it.

IF they do ever have someone end it, it should be Roman Reigns.

Retire with the Streak. No one can live up to having broke it at this point and I would not want to lay that curse upon anyone.

The streak should only end if it's used to turn John Cena heel. Other than that, it should remain in tact

no way in hell i'll give the streak o someone that will probably be botched in a matter onf months by the WWE. I think Taker was pissed enough by Lesnar the first time and will not give the rub to anyone but an already established star.

The streak should only end if it's used to turn John Cena heel. Other than that, it should remain in tact But then Cena has nowhere to go after that. I feel like everything that happens with a Heel Cena beyond that will pale in comparison and he'd just constantly harp on beating Taker at WM the same way Miz harps on about beating him. I'm personally against a Cena heel turn, but I think Cena should actually TURN heel, not build heel heat off of something that's would likely get booed anyway. If WWE goes that route it should be with a guy who already is a heel going into the match. Imo a Cena turn is wasted on a part timer. The turn needs to be done against someone that he can actually have a feud with, and isn't too big or too protected that he can afford to have Cena win the feud to build his character up.

I'd lose.
Forget "this business" or "who gets the rub." It's just that I can't imagine a way to satisfactorily end a plot like that without losing. "Immortal monster never loses...then leaves without ever being defeated" just isn't a satisfying ending for me.
I'd lose to Cena, not because he is the best for business or anything, but because it would be the most fitting storywise. Cena's character is built around doing the impossible, and this IS pretty impossible. It would be a legitimate tense match and I would love every moment of it. The ultimate odds-overcomer vs the ultimate odds. Would it be the best move for business? Don't care. It's just what I would want to see, really.
