I love Dolph. Always have. But sometimes I think he'd be better off if he avoided media/social media for a while. Well, he is friends with Ryder. Some of that 'whine' mentality might have rubbed off on him.

Nothing. He's just not as well rounded a performer as other guys main eventing right now.

Maybe it's just that people keep chanting for Sheamus whenever he's in the ring.

I like ziggler, but my problem with him is that I like him enough to see him on tv, but not enough to be a main eventer. Is like kofi for me

So there's the story/thought that WWE told him to tone it down in the ring, and he didn't. My thing is, that is precisely how he got over, by being fast and furious in the ring, working at hyper-speed, bumping around like he does. It's what works for him, they shouldn't try to change him to fit a mold they want. It's not like he works too fast for his opponents, because if he gets a decent chunk of him his matches are always good, often really good. Slowed down Ziggler just wouldn't be Ziggler, and I think he realizes that. If WWE had their way, we'd be probably watching the New and Improved Giant Evan Bourne Dolph Ziggler work a serious, methodical style or something.
He doesn't have to be a main eventer, but he should absolutely have a strong presence in the midcard/second tier around the IC title. Lately, he's dropped below that, and his depush has been very deliberate and easy to see since last summer. He still feels like he could rise up at any time (hey oh!), but there's always moments where it seems like WWE is trying to make a point that they have no interest in protecting him. Jobbing to Curtis Axel or getting Cobra'd out of a battle royal are two such instances. He's not Sandow level buried, but something's up there.

I'd actually like to see Dolph work a different style. His "show off" gimmick isn't going anywhere (though I enjoyed it) and he could pull off a different type of face character.
Maybe hook him up with BNB. His heckling on NXT was really really good stuff so maybe something like that, but with an in-ring style that's less physically spastic.

He's trying too hard to be cool.
Some people act like they have a huge charisma, and others just have a huge charisma, and you can tell the difference.

When HHH was backstage eating a meal that included mashed potatoes, Dolph started an impromptu song while dancing around his table.
"WHO STUCK THEIR DICK IN THE MASHED POTATOES?" "I STUCK MY DICK IN THE MASHED POTATOES!" *pelvic thrust pelvic thrust pelvic thrust*

If Dolph did that, and I were running the company, he would've won all the belts and conquered ended The Undertaker's streak.

I maintain he would have been a better corporate champion than Orton.

I don't say it's a bad thing, i just say that he comes off as a guy who tries too hard to be cool, and doesn't have the natural charisma needed to be an A+ player

I maintain he would have been a better corporate champion than Orton. He wouldn't have been universally booed the way Orton was. I think he would have been a good corp champ too, it just wouldnt haven worked as well at the time.

Dolph wouldn't have gotten nearly the hatred, and certainly wouldn't have inspired the audience-wide protest to make Daniel Bryan champion.

Dolph wouldn't have gotten nearly the hatred, and certainly wouldn't have inspired the audience-wide protest to make Daniel Bryan champion. Dolph may not be as "shoved down our throats" as Orton is, but the "audience wide protest" really didn't take off until Batista's return. Regardless of who the champ was, whether it was Randy Orton, Dolph Ziggler, or even someone as far down the totem pole as Alex Riley (HHH/Steph not wanting Bryan to be champ that badly), the fans would've gotten into an uproar because they'd still resent the idea of Batista returning to be the conquering hero. ESPECIALLY if Batista were being penned to crush a favorite like Dolph for the title.
