R-Truth was hilarious, entertaining every week. The Miz had successfully defended the WWE Championship a few months ago at WrestleMania. They were both in very solid places on the card, and had an interesting angle (the conspiracy). This was the last time they were relevant, and it's too bad.
In the complete and total mess that was the Autumn of 2011, their potential is often overlooked.

The REMIX was one of the funniest moments I can remember in such a long time. If only they could have stayed together longer, and thus extended crazy R-Truth's heel run longer.

Truth got busted when they started testing for Spice, correct? Along with Evan, Darren, Slater and Chioda?
Damn shame they broke up Awesome Truth just to write Truth out. Should have just kept him out a month.

Should have just kept him out a month. I think they were going to break them up anyway. The TLC they did with Punk defending against Del Rio and Miz makes more sense if you consider that the original plan might have been Punk defending against Truth and Miz.

Awesome Truth's entire motivation was that they both felt they deserved to be in "the main event" (read. The title picture). So the natural progression of the story was for them to eventually clash over the WWE Championship and break up due to tension.

Only time I really enjoyed Truth was here. He was hilarious - you can find most of the funny bits in that Slammy promo from 2011.
My favorite thing he did was try and copy Miz using the word 'epiphany'. Whether or not he meant to do it, he botched the pronunciation, and it was hysterical.

Just enjoy the moment they got to look like real threats, and try not to think too much about the follow up on this angle.

The funniest part of this story line was Mark Henry, who had been running riot on Smackdown with his Hall Of Pain gimmick, joining the walk out because Awesome Truth had made the environment too dangerous.

That description does not do that aspect of the angle justice. When they did the walkout angle, Jerry Lawler came out and informed Triple H that someone was sabotaging his reign on Raw, and how it had made for an unsafe work environment. Mark Henry was on camera at that point and was nodding in agreement with Jerry's words, even though the whole reason Jerry Lawler wasn't at the commentator's booth that week was because Mark Henry put him through the announce table and gave him anal bleeding.

Also didn't Beth Phoenix speak on behalf of the divas even though her and Natalya had been the ones making the others lives miserable? I remember her "Hunter, we're just girls" line.

No, no, peak R-Truth was when he yelled "I want my son back," at John Cena, in a single action becoming like unto a poster in a live thread with obscure references and jokes about the product.

I just like to imagine that Mark Henry legitimately, kayfabe forgot about that. "Man, whoever did that to Lawler is a jer-- oooooooooooh right.

There was a couple weeks of gold in there.
C-O-N-....SPIRACY R Truth dressed up as a Confederate General It's not a spider is it? I hate Spiders! With all due respect... anal bleeding
And didn't that all start with R-Truth quitting a match with Morrison to take a smoke break and drink some water?
It was a treasure trove of wrestlecrap and I loved every minute of it

I just miss crazy heel R-Truth... coming out to silence. I was so pissed when he had music again.

I liked them together but just had a hard time buying the ENTIRE ROSTER being afraid of R-Truth and The Miz.
