Was a push for Otunga ever really in the works? He almost seemed like a subtle rib on Vince, especially with how they booked him in NXT. He existed almost entirely so that Barrett had somebody to outdo. And even when Otunga was featured, he was booked rather weakly and occasionally lost matches to guys who were much lower in the pecking order (e.g. jobbing to Ryder on the "Del Rio Kills Santa" episode). Otunga was basically a low carder that got to have regular TV time.

in 1999 there were constant rumors , Billy Gunn would be pushed to the moon - I wanted it to happen , now looking it probably was a good idea it didnt happen. This being around the same time Paul Wight was gonna be named Titan,& Jericho was going to be called Excalibur

Cesaro still stands a chance, WWE hasn't seen the UFO yet.

William Regal in 08.
I love his character and in ring work so much. A damn shame he had to ruin it all.

William Regal. GM/Champion. This for me, too. He was on such a roll then

If I really thought about this, I'm sure I'd come up with more names. Regal is first answer. Sandow is my second.

Since The Big Show and the whole Titan thing was mentioned.
Vince just couldn't resist the urge to have someone with the initials TBS on his programming.

When John Tenta came back I'd read he was coming back as Earthquake & feuding with Austin, he ended up being Golga. Would've been strange but cool to see

I think I would've enjoyed seeing more of Kaval, they kinda bungled his run after NXT especially having him being associated with the Diva's Co-Champions LayCool.

Yeah, they actually had decent chemistry. Could have really been something had they wanted to do ANYTHING with Kaval in the first place.
