Whatever happened to Alex Reily, was he released? WWE lost Kennedy, I thought it was fortunate for them that they got another arrogant big mouth like him. He does commentary on NXT (if you can call irritating white noise commentary) and wrestles the random house show here and there.

Was there a story about it cause it seemed like they wanted to give him a push and then he disappear. He would be a breath off fresh air nowadays in the main event scene given there'd a lack of personality in the WWE at present time.

I've read he and Cena settled their issue but it has been Vince that refuses to use Riley because of whatever happened now.

I never got the sense that they wanted him to get over as he did in the first place. People say he was a company Golden Boy, but after NXT they proceeded to book him like a complete geek. And while he was really sloppy in the ring when they did try to push him, The company has to shoulder some of the blame for that because the time that he should have been getting seasoned and working on his craft was spent doing a whole lot of nothing following Miz like a puppy and taking finishers from Cena and Orton. Even when he got his big face push, he wasn't over protected and "shoved down our throats" the way they normally do with a pet project (although that was a good thing). I even remember him tapping out to Swagger's ankle lock at one point in an eight man tag during the clusterf*** that was Fall 2011. I really think he was meant to be One and Done. I don't even believe the Cena story and I think that was just a lie to pass the buck. I think it would've been simpler to just fire him after the DUI instead of letting fans like me get attached to him and be upset about where he is now.

Getting accidentally eliminated in the 2011 Royal Rumble (when he was supposed to eliminate Cena to help the Miz/Cena fued) didn't help Riley either.

What was the name of that guy who called out The Undertaker in a promo that ended up being his one and only WWE appearance?

As if I couldn't hate Cena more....

I wasn't watching the WWE at the time but I caught the Miz-Riley storyline and thought it was pretty well done and got Riley over. But I did not watch more than that and was wondering what had happened to the guy cause not only I thought he had the "IT" factor but he seemed like someone the WWE would push. So it's strange it did not work out. Come to think of it, they probably would have given the torch to someone like that around the Attitude Era before the current system came into being.

Not so much a disappointing one, but for the first half of 2013 it seemed like they were trying really hard to push The Miz as a possible top face and I will never understand why. I still can't understand how they f***ed that up as royally as they did. As a heel they booked Miz as an underdog who would win by hook or by crook, he was a guy who busted his ass to get to the WWE, and this was his dream. At Money in the Bank 2011, he was taken out of the match with an injury only to come back on 1 leg to try to win, he wasn't faking the injury, he got the injured returning hero spot, and Chicago went nuts for it. Of course Rey Mysterio stopped him, which the crowd booed Mysterio for. They held the tournament for the WWE Title, and an injured Miz overcomes the odds to get to the finals. That booking right there was screaming "Miz is turning face, winning the title, only for Bertie to cash in on him." Mysterio won the tournament, because they brought Punk back way too fast. When Miz was finally turned face, they abandoned him being an underdog. Miz was an actual believable underdog, and crowds got on his side because of it. When they turned him into an "asskicker" and had Flair endorse him, it stripped away his best asset as a face.
