Welp, here we go. I bet you Sheamus returns and eliminates Bryan thus forcing Reigns to eliminate Sheamus. I'll also say that this will not turn out well, at all. Time for another rollercoaster ride folks.

I would buy WrestleMania just for the crowd reaction for Reigns vs. Lesnar, but I wouldn't want to financially support the booking.

With the resentment towards Reigns already high, I fear we could have another Batista situation if Reigns wins. There is a lot of love for Bryan, especially after his triumphant return from a serious injury.
I think the best course of action would be to give us the feel good Rumble & Mania win for Bryan, and then a feud with Rollins. Whilst this is happening Reigns can keep on learning and improving before take his rightful place in 2016.

no disrespect towards Reigns, but f*** that. Daniel Bryan vs Brock Lesnar is the only possible fresh match up that feels mania main event worthy

That is the problem, I am a fan of Roman and if he becomes top dog, great - but it is not his "rightful" place, no one should be given a claim like that. It is that mentality by WWE that will likely ruin a potentially great career.

With the resentment towards Reigns already high We must not be watching the same thing; Roman's pops are fine.

I don't know how somebody could've watched him managing to stink up the joint against Seth Rollins and still think Reigns is ready to main event Mania. With the resentment towards Reigns already high We must not be watching the same thing; Roman's pops are fine. There is that undercurrent, though, and it is bubbling. And he's been booed at times before, the level of his pops varies wildly from huge to negligible, and crowds only seem to respond to his entrance, they die quickly soon as he starts wrestling or talking.

After what happened with Bryan at WMXXX, we at least know that they are capable of listening to the fans and giving them what they want. They aren't deaf, they hear the lukewarm reactions to Reigns just as much as they heard the roar that followed Bryan's announcement the other night. Can they do the right thing two years in a row?

I never say this but if Bryan doesn't win the Rumble, I'm done until after Mania

I'm honestly expecting their view on it to be, "They got what they wanted last year, this year they can suck it up and deal with it." I do have the feeling they're going to spectacularly botch the Reigns push and make crowds absolutely loathe him, probably make him damaged goods for life, but I think they're going to take forever to admit it.

I kind of feel bad for Roman Reigns and I can't really hate the idea of them trying to push him because all I really ever wanted out of Royal Rumble was to be a vehicle for new stars, which Roman is new, so there you go. Yes the smart move is probably to bet on Bryan, and Roman is definitely a gamble, and I don't think it's gonna work out for them but I can't be upset if they try. This is far different from just plugging Dave Batista in there and thinking people will forget that Bryan ever existed.

I'm sure they think the can pass all the heat off onto whoever eliminates Bryan. Won't work. If the winner is a Vince/Dunn favorite like Reigns, they will get the Batista treatment.

If they aren't planning on having him win the Rumble they might as well have held off on his return until after Mania altogether, honestly.

Bryan needs to win. No point trying to force Roman in right now when he could just win the title at Summerslam when he's had some more seasoning in high-profile singles matches.

What is it that they see in Reigns?
Why are they so gung-ho to push him this hard when it's pretty clear he's not ready for the spot yet?

It's win-win for me.
If Bryan wins the Rumble and beats Lesnar, it's awesome
If they stubbornly go with Reigns, I get to see another trainwreck.

I think Bryan v Lesnar would be a disaster because after coming back from a long injury, a stiff worker like Lesnar is NOT who Bryan needs to start off with. Bryan/Rollins for the belt while Roman slays Brock for good would be fine.

What is it that they see in Reigns? Why are they so gung-ho to push him this hard when it's pretty clear he's not ready for the spot yet? Honestly I think it's because Vince's ego was hurt by the Batista thing, and to a lesser degree things like Sheamus's big push flopping and Cena never reaching Hogan / Rock / Austin heights, and he wants to prove that he can make a hand-chosen star and knows better than the fans do. That or Cena's in much worse shape than they've led us to believe and they think they need an immediate replacement as the face of the company because I guess they ignore when business in 2004 was better than it is now without one. That and because he's related to Rock and they might be able to persuade him to swing by to face him for a big show when otherwise Rock probably wouldn't bother given how badly injured he was after his last match. I'd say if not for his family Reigns wouldn't be getting pushed anywhere near as hard as he is, and I say that as someone who does see a lot of potential in him.

Bryan vs Lesnar is the perfect storyline. Monster vs underdog. Only WWE could possibly screw up such a no-brainer.
